Went to do some maintenance on this cache today, only to find that WP1 has changed and GZ had been muggled. So I have decided to archive this cache.
Thanks to those that have enjoyed this cache and the views it offers.

The views are truly beautiful and go on forever. It is an easy walk to the cache, but there is a tricky bit which you will have to discover for yourself. TNLN but did drop of an Australian Geocoin. Thanks to The Rats for helping me find a nice place.

This one had been on my “Must Do†list for far too long. It seems that we are always short of time while returning from outings in the mountains. Today we took the time to make the detour and were rewarded with some great views and a cache as well!
At WP1 we collected the required numbers and completed the easy maths. After a short drive, a bit of a walk and a scramble I had the cache in hand.
I don’t think that the cache will have too many muggle problems here.

Took Nothing
Left a glass cleaning pad.

Thanks Rats.

wp1 grapped every number in a 10 m radius.got to wp2 , the rock climbing skill come in handy.

Great spot well worth visiting for the view. WP 1 was no problem however after wandering around at (supposed) GZ, faced facts and started the decent. Height or a partner to give a boost would be a definite advantage. TNLN.

Nice lookout & views. Took SES whistle & photo frame. Left karabiner/thermometer/key ring combo & book.

2nd time lucky!

Found with the Xclusive Pair after a bit of scrambling around as the sky gods were not being too kind...

Left Photo Frame, Took a 4 way chuck key.

Thanks for a well designed number crunch that points to a cleverly hidden cache!

Found this one on number 2 attempt.Went bare foot to scale the rocks good hide.

Thanks rats! we have been here many times but never as non-muggles, so thanks for the chance! this is a top hiding spot, or should i say not 'top'...you decide.

An interesting and enjoyable cache!
We suffered lots of drift with GPSr accuracy at this location today!
Had a scarey moment while rock scrambling and saw god! (No mean feat for an "unbeliever" I can tell you!)

Upon dusting myself off, found myself looking right at the cache location. I might try a less dramatic method of search next time...

*** A note for the next cacher... There are areas near the cache location where the ground is quite unstable... Extra Care To Be Taken! ***

Now the challenge was to get to the location!
After some "interesting" gymnastics and strategic use of a part of the body that were never designed for rock climbing, the cache was ours!!

Took - Magnetic note holders.

Left - Photo Album

I should have left some band-aids, should the next cacher have a moment, like I did...

Thanks for a top cache!

Found the cache without too many difficulties. Fantastic picnic spot..never knew it was there! This was our first multi-cache...and the only cache for us today. Cache was in good nick. Left a travelpack of tissues and a new blistex...took some post-it notes. Nice one Rats!

Cache maintenance performed today. Cache has been restocked and moved to a muggle free zone.

Er yeah squarewheels I know 4 zeros do not equal 4 ...now. This cache needs some maintainance Rats, it has been looted , has no Geocache note but the log is intact.

Found with Ruffnut and Pete.
Waypoint one revealed itself quickly.
After some over the bonnet mathematics it was off to somewhere that wasn't the cache.
The error was corrected and we were off to the cache.
I found the cache sitting on a ledge in the open. It appears that it may have been muggled.
The cache was replaced in a nearby crevice and hidden behind some stones.
Nice views, but, with the heat of the day I wish I was in the river below.
Thanks Rats.

2:02pm

We were on our way back down the mountains from putting out our new Multi - "Picnic at waterlily waterhole" and decided we should start to tidy up some of the remaining ones on the lower mountains.

Have been to this spot many times abseiling, but have not been back since "The Incident" which we won't go into.

Anyways, at the first WP, we were madly doing maths on anything that had a number, even tried my number plate but that did not help. Phoned a friend and was given some advice.

With some new numbers tried, the yellow thingy said go this-a-way, which was in the right direction so we did. We parked at the same time some other people did, I gave em the evil eye, and they did not like the look of us, not shaved in a while, dirty jeans covered in soot from burnt trees and mud etc. They left pretty quickly.

Off we went, following the pointy pixels. Did not take too long to find it, and, with a nice view as well. Had never come this far around before.

Swapped out the cooler bag for a cd case. Signed the log, then all of a sudden channel 14 sprang to life, could it be cachers closing in? Nah, just some foul mouthed teenagers riding motorbikes on the otherside of the river below. Maybe next time....

Took a drive at lunchtime. After searching top and bottom I finally located it without having had to climb down. However it's worth climbing down for the rock overhangs. The contents are a bit thin, so I left a paratrooper and TN.
Nice spot Rat guys.

04-Jun-04
Completed as ADAcache, but I am now my own cacher

Another enjoyable cache. with a very confusing GPS reading. Walked around on the top rock with the GPS switching from 2M into space and 2M into land.

Oh well the view was worth the few minutes climbing up and down rock faces.

Took yellow dinosaur - left green car.

Well done RATS

Off to Rivers End

15-Nov-03
Dropped in on the way up the mountains with 2 of the Riblettes and a friend and found this one after a short search. GZ appears to be 17 or so metres short of the cache location.
The cache contents were a bit damp so we dried it in the sun for a while. Swapped the key holder for some bungee straps.

Great views from here.
Nice placing Rats.

09-Oct-03
Found the cache exactly where SWAGGERS said it would be. Having brought a new container with me I replaced the container and restocked it with what I had.

I then found what I thought to be GZ and wedged the cache into its slot nice and tight. Future visitors might want to bring a few choice items to restock the cache. A few rubber bands to keep the lid on the container might be useful too.

Found this one easily - strewn around the ground at the bottom of the cliff. Collected all the bits together and reassembled it into a blue cooler bag (left as one of the geo-stuff). I have placed it nearby at the base of a twisty barked angophera. Simply add 11 to the south coord and 4 to the east coord and you will be there. Probably needs fixing properly. Thanks Rats a great spot with great views.

What a tuff one searched high and low and were baffled for a while. GPS pointed out it the wide blue yonder but eventually found it. Great place to hide it but creatures had been chewing on the top making it hard to seal up, lucky for the elastic.
Thanks SES Rats. Now on to the Grotto

25-Feb-03
Finally got back to finishing this one off.

A top spot. My gps was wanting me out in the vastness of space by 10 mtrs. If I had only just broadened my search by another meter on my first attempt.

WIP, managed to find the numbers, but ran out of time... A young lass over the road doing some gardening kept her eye on me... I kept an eye on her tooWink Will be back

Lucky the young lass wasn't about, as Jumbuck was with me! Often take the scouts abseiling in this area...waypoint 1...hhmmmm....tele poles, letter boxes, notice boards, they ALL have numbers on....but I thought about it for a little while... took one Kitkat and some fridge mags, left some crayons and glue stick...with apologies to The Bushrats, but some bushrats have been interested in it...
Thanks to The Rats.

WP1 had us calculating every number we could find (I think using our own rego was pushing it...) until we found the right one. Should've just done the 'rithmatic at home...

Nice countryside at GZ and a great view! Papa Bear did most of the clambering as Mama Bear had a sore paw (she usually has a nicely turned ankle, but today had a badly turned one.)

No trouble looking into nooks and crannies as the option was looking out and down. Guess who's not too good with heights...

Found it in the last place we looked (as usual; strange that...) and left it undisturbed except for a few scribbles in the logbook.

Canyons are finally opened again so it was up the mountains and out into the rugged wilderness for a blissful day without even the sound of another person. We even found the biggest Yabbie we have ever seen, it was around 20cm long. Might do Geronimo next week, that’s a fun canyon. Oh, yeah the cache! We did that on the way home and found it without looking for it. It happened something like this, I was jumping around the rocks checking out some carrots while Kathy was checking out a black rock skink. I turned to see where Kathy was and spotted the cache staring at me.

well team snafuadv and the two dogs tackled this one 2 dogs searched the top of the cliff and i headed down. around 20min of intense searching and looking it was the dogs whom found this one, only for me to find out that it was only 2M from where i had left my sunnies but hay thats the fun with cachin. well we left some cash and took a F1 car as well as our new lil friend the mad medic who with our other bug will enjoy the trip back to darwin.

great view and excellent abseiling to be had for all those interested.

02-Jan-03
As usual this one had us unnecessarily searching in the hardest places. Found after about half an hour of searching. The Mad Medic was a real showstopper and kept us amused all the way home.
Nice spot and yet another that we didn't know existed. Thanks Rats

Well we tried to strart the year with a cache. Having been at that location the weekend before to do some abseiling we came back to collect. But alas we couldn't quit find it. We searched high and low. We haven't given up, so we will be back with the help of the Two (sniffer) Dogs. We feel we have to go further over the cliff making this one harder than the 2/2 rating it already has.

We found the first waypoint OK, well my 7 year old Scott worked it out.
We went onto the cache site and I too thought I was going to have to climb down the cliff face. I searched around and found it from looking back up to the top. This one is a bit too dangerous for small children, I had to leave my 7 and 3 year old with Mum while I found it.
Did the usual swapping of items and filled in log book.

I had a quick go at this one solo.
No probs with location 1, although my eTrex was telling me lies, but luckily the waypoint was obvious. Can't believe the amount of traffic at this location!, it's in the middle of nowhere and a minute didn't go by when there was no traffic.
Location 2 seemed easy at first, I even knew were it was going to be before I started. A classic cache location, short walk, fantastic views, and thousands of nice spots to hide a cache. But my eTrex was once again playing silly buggers, it insisted the cache was a good 10m over the cliff edge, which would not have made the 2/2 rating.
I searched all the obvious spots on the top to no avail, even tried a quick search of the bottom of the cliff, once again to no avail.
Will be back when the satelites are better aligned!

Good fun cache. Just for fun, I wrote a program a while back to brute force the final waypoint clue before visiting (need to hone those puzzle skills). I confirmed my calculations by visiting the location with Leek and doing it properly, on our way to the NSW Weekender. Took a radio, and left ... THE MAD MEDIC (travel bug). I discovered my red nose frog in the cache, and figured he could use the company of the medic.

Thanks for a great cache. The views were fantastic (photos to follow soonish).

Found this one with Mind Socket on our way to the NSW Geocacher's Weekend at Lake Lyell...
What a great view and a great cache...
Thanks Rats.

Ok. Ok. I finally made it. First WP1 and then WP2. And What a view!!! A nice rural cache. I think I want to live here it's just amazing.

Took me a few minutes to track the little sucker down. But once in my hands the contents flowed like wine..

Swapped the golf game for Name Tag Holder, Memo Magnets, and something else that I forget...

Thanks Rat another quality cache...

I'm suprised we are first, as this one has been sitting for the best part of a week.
