WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 38 - Narrogin to Younaning Dam via Cuballing. After a night where it seemed to rain all night, I woke up and was a little relived to hear the rain stop soon afterwards. I did one side trip out of Narrogin before collecting the van t get on the road to the North. The sun even came out till just after lunch. I spent the middle of the day around Cuballing, with mixed results. I had thought at staying by the pub, but I don;t think they do camping any more, so I had lunch there instead of dinner. Only 10kms up the road there was this great spot by an old railway dam. A few other people here, but a very nice place to sit out more rain and do some planning for the next few days.This one was here and found without any problems, unlike the next one.Thanks for the cache burns34547352.2 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2009 5th Ann Compass Rose Gold A#138**Albida**

With the long weekend we decided to put a day aside for a big adventure. We headed away from home nice and early before heading through this area grabbing caches as we went. Our name was added to the log book at 10:39am on 2 March 2024. Popped out to the area to clean up some new LGAs over a 3 day heist! Happy to see theres a lot to keep me busy for a few days.Saw the sign coming back into town and geo-instinct knew there would be a cache here! Today Taurus Six and I have decided our geocaching plan for the day is to head to the Narrogin area and collect the outstanding caches that we never got around to getting during the WAGB event in June . We did collect lots that weekend but there were still lots more to get be time we left. Today is the first opportunity we have had to get back to Narrogin, since then. It was a lovely drive over this morning from Bunbury. Spring has definitely sprung and the canola fields are looking particularly sensational at the moment. There were also lots of beautiful wild flowers in full bloom in many of the places we visited which was a bonus for the day. The other bonus was having a lovely hearty breakfast at the Williams Wool Shed, this is up there with our favourite eating spots. All in all a great days geocaching and exploring .

This was our twenty eighth cache find of the day along with the near by Adventure Lab. We think these Narrogin Welcome signs are fabulous they are really appealing and make you want to visit. A nice quick find, log and replace here . Thanks for the cache Burns 345 .

Having travelled with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast, down through the centre, the Flinders Ranges, the Yorke Peninsula, and the Nullarbor, we are now on the home stretch. We are now in Narrogin for a few days to catch up on the many caches that have popped up recently. TFTC burns345

Have travelled with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterborough, Minlaton, Moonta,Whyalla and Wudinna we headed across the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way including Kambalda and the Goldfields. Winding our way home now and a quick flit through Doodlakine, Muckinbudin and Kellerberrin. After spending a couple of nights in Northam and a night in Popanyinning we then headed for a stay in Narrogin. Thanks burns345

Headed up to Williams then across to Narrogin to pick up some of the multitude of caches that were placed for WAGB. From there, we will see.

WAGB23 Sadly the final day. After packing up a very wet tent I popped along to the goodbye breakfast event then headed off to pick up the few remaining caches around town. Raining hard when I got here, so not for the first time I was glad for a WTN shelter Another quick find. No problems here today - TFTC

Visiting from the east and heading to the WAGB event and caching along the way and at the event and areas around Narrogin then on to Kulin and back to Perth via a quick visit to Albany. Thanks to all the various COs for placing caches (or EC and virtuals) for us to locate, learn and explore. Signing as Team East+2.

Today was a full day of events. Official sign inday, followed by an escape room, PT swaps, CITO & the day ended with a sausage sizzle event at the caravan park
Today we also found a variety of caches with the last one of the day a night fishing cache.
Thankyou to the CO's for placing these caches.

Full time nomads since February 2014, back in WA to visit family.

In Narrogin for WA Goes Big 2023. Wow 10years!

Woo Hoo! WAGB is off and running. A couple of quick caches before heading to the launch event. Snuck out in the middle to attempt 2 nearby multi's then dash back for our shot at the Puzzle Room (what amazement & fun) Back to camp for some lunch before a few town caches then off to CITO and the treasure hunt, yep we did not find any treasure

Then a quick catchup at the Night Sesh before heading indoors to keep warm and prepare for another epic day tomorrow!

Day 3 of the WAGB weekend. Starting to wear bags under my eyes - but all in the name of fun! Many thanks to everyone involved in making this weekend a success. This is going to be a massive weekend and no doubt a great adventure. Many thanks burns345 for placing this hide for me to find and adding to an awesome weekend at WAGB23. This will be my 6410 find.

Kapelula and I started at opposite ends with the find going to her as she got to the right spot first.

Saturday at WAGB23 started in cold and fog of first light heading out to Williams with Kapelula to grab a newly published cache.
Once back in town enjoyed meeting everyone at the welcome event before completing the puzzle room and venturing out around Narrogin to start grabbing some of the many labs and caches around town with I C Nothing, SirFancy and Kapelula.
Mr T joined me to head to the CITO before picking the last few caches of the day before heading to the night event at the caravan park and joining a large group to go to the various night caches nearby.
At the end of the day I had added 25 finds, 10 adventure labs, 3 events attended and 0 DNF’s to my totals.

Find 16 of 40 on a perfect day - loads of excellent caches and lots of mountain bike riding between them, on great tracks - covered 45km today finding every unfound physical cache and AdLab in Narrogin town, apart from the two fishing caches.

Getting the hang of these. All good.

In Narrogin for WAGB 2023, ullyssia and I teamed up today to find as many caches as possible in and around town. We also attended the events, had fun in the puzzle room and went for a bit of night caching! The weather was perfect and it was nice to run into other caching teams throughout the day. Thank you very much to the organising committee for an enjoyable weekend!
