Disabling for a short time as there has been a prescribed burn in this area. Will check on the caches on the next cool day after Im sure the burn is finished.
The plan for the day was to cache with cccl23 around Adelaide for some targeted caches, however he is crook this morning and Ive had to come up with Plan BWhat could be better than heading South down Murray Bridge way, great walks, great scenery and a bucket load of caches yet to find.so here I am Cache quickly found and stampedTFTC
In the area today for the annual CP Wanderer event and enjoyed a lovely walk in the park. This was one of the fun finds along the wayCheers CPwanderer and TFTC
Found after attending CP Wanderer's annual event. Great weather to walk around and find caches. Enjoyed this series. TFTC
Found it! Arrived in the area early for CPWanderers event so went for a wander to find some caches. Another one in this loop ticked off. TFTC!
A fun find with four-fun. We decided to do a loop and clean up the ones in the area around the annual CP event today. I must say it was a long walk today. Donny Dunny would be happy to see the masses walking the ancient furrows. I hit over 20,000 steps. It felt like most of it was in sand so I will sleep well! Whilst attending an event closeby,LB, Jlly, spider monkeys mum and I ventured over to this section of bushland. . It was the perfect day . All caches were easily found and in good condition. TFTC
Yay. Todays the day! Been on the calendar for some time and the day is amazing weather wise. Stopped at Mount barker for a late Brekky and grabbed a handful of signal Mega sudokus. Drove past the carpark for the event and saw a bit of activity so got dropped back to get started on some wanderingGotta love a smiley face on the map. Thanks you CPwanderer for the array of caches and for the event of course. And to Bindi and friends. Thankyou for placing and maintaining it.
Time for another Tremendous Tuesday Trek, so went and picked up the Rat from her nest and then headed for the Starfish's pond. Then we set off towards CPwanderland in the Starfish's new geovehicle with the main aim being the Woodlands Mail series. After that was completed it was into Murray Bridge to rectify a recent DNF and then lunch. Then it was north to Mypolonga and the surrounding area where there were quite a few we all wanted. There was one cache I'm going to remember for a long time, for the right reasons, and by the time were made it back to the Starfish's pool we all had a very satisfying number of new smilies. A great day. Thanks to CPwanderer for adding to the playing field with this cache.Smilie #15270.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Something special or unusual goes here:Mr. Smooth also gets a mention. Not one of my favorites from him. [^]The Generic Bit:The 2024 Geocaching Victoria Event Crawl: Another Tuesday Trek for some Puzzle solvers. Ttrogg picked up Mrs. Sewer Rats and came to my pond where they jumped into my geomobile. Once again we were heading down to CP Wonderland for another series of caches and then onto the Mypolonga area to see what we could find. ***Thanks CPwanderer for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Woo Hoo another Tuesday Trekking for 3 Confused Puzzlers.Today's plan was for ttrogg to pick up the Rat from her nest. Then we headed up to pick up the Starfish from his pond.We then headed to Monarto Woodlands. It was a lovely day to go for a walk in the woolands. We zigged over to this one whilst in the woodlands.A quick find and stamp for us today.Replaced the cache as found. Tftc
TFTC! Another area of the Monarto Woodlands explored, thank you for bringing us out here CPwanderer! Did these a bit out of order: 1, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, Vintage U.V. protection, 11, 4, 3, 2.
Found during a pleasant walk around the Monarto Woodlands Reserve on a coolish day. Thanks for the cache CPwanderer!
Chookster and I decided to take advantage of a beautiful morning and do some walking and caching in the Monarto Woodlands. We started with Woodlands Mail number 1 and walked in an anti-clockwise direction. I admired the plantings and the variety of birds we saw, including Spotted Pardelotes, and enjoyed the walk. All caches were easily found and were in good condition. TFTC CPWanderer
Went for a walk around this area with naughtybunny and nabbed a few caches along the way. This was number 5 of 11 for a great day out. It started off very cold but the sun warmed us up quickly. The birds certainly were singing and we managed to see a few while walking the loop. This is a generic log for the 11 letterboxes around this part of the Conservation Park and definitely noticed a theme happening. TNLN. Cheers.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Murray Bridge to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Thanks CPWanderer
Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. Staying at Murray Bridge for a few days, exploring the area using geocaching as our guide. Thank you for placing caches in this beautiful bushland.
Decided to pick this series for a nice afternoon walk. It's a lovely park. Didn't see any snakes and not much wildlife either. Navigating to the parking area, the Tesla had some funny ideas about how to get there but I caught it before we went too far. They said no off-roading. The caches were all easily found and in great condition. Thanks for the series.
After over seven weeks on the road, I'm back home and finally catching up on all my logging.Caching in South Australia was fantastic, so many good hides to find, and we found ourselves zigzagging all over the place doing lots of geoart but of course ran out of time to get everything done on our to-do list. The majority of caches we found were in great condition and well maintained, which is a credit to all the CO's who placed them, so thank you.Our logs were mostly signed as 5 for QLD to save room on the log sheets, and no doubt, we'll be back again in the future
Settling into another phase of our southern journey our travels taking us to geo art from 2014 of Signal, getnict Park Woodlands mail, icecream and some challenges today.Caching with and signing as 5 for QLD including RoddyC hatzofff Imbunda snickersallan grannysmith1947TFTLetterbox CPwanderer
TFTC smile 18388 out and about on a lovely day having a great time finding a few caches in Adelaide heading to cache Down south today signing as 5 for Qld Hatzofff Snickersallan RoddyC Imbunda , what a great team we made and lots of laughter and fun Thank you CPwanderer for placing this cache for our enjoyment
In Adelaide for a couple of weeks. Wherever out group goes, we use the acronym 5 for QLD to save space when logging.Today's adventures take us to Murray Bridge. Apparently there is some geoart there. So after a very early start (this day light saving is a pain getting up in the dark every morning!), we decided to tackle the Trads then Letterboxes in the Monarto Forest reserve. It was a pleasant walk, but the actual horse trails were soft sand and made walking difficult. So we avoided them where possible. Being a couple of hours after dawn, the birds and roos were still quite active, surprisingly.Log signed and cache replaced as found on 7 March 2024. TFTC, CPwanderer
Heading towards home after the Adelaide Mega, I stayed overnight in Murray Bridge and started the day with a couple of walks gathering 31 caches along the way. With overcast skies and a gentle cool breeze, it was perfect conditions for the walks. My thanks for the cache, CPwanderer.
Another walk in this neck of the woods, a nice walk around finding this series of caches, all the cache are in good orderWith two events scheduled over two days, one a tailem bend and another at Mannum the following day I decided to make an overnight trip out of it. Just over 100 finds for the two days cleaning up the map as I went. Thanks for the cache
Little Miss Cache and I doing some caching on the final day of school holidays! Love CPs caches! TFTC
I was heading to the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide to spend Christmas with my Daughter, S-I-L & grandson. I needed 12 caches today to get the Solstice souvenir so I called up CP to ask if he & Bindi would like to catch up & come for a walk with me. We walked in the heat of the day, which probably wasn't the best idea. Bindi & CP walked most of the way with me before heading back to the car. I completed the last 2 in this area. Thanks CPwanderer for placing the series for our enjoyment
Big trip for me today. I found more caches today in one hit than i have for months, and mainly on foot. Its always great to head to CP Wonderland. 43 finds for the day including a FTF, what a great day.Perfect weather for my jaunt not a cloud in the sky, shame I forgot my hat but at least it wasnt too hot. Lathered up in SPF50. Plenty of big Roos seen today, thankfully no snakes .Did 4 sets of caches and had lunch between each 2 sets. Set 1 was the letter box series where I tried out my new anti snake gaiters. Cachly was giving me the irritations the M werent counting down as I was walking, had to keep closing down and reopening, tried a few other tricks and eventually it began to behave. The terrain for set 2 was tough such a sandy track to get in and then tall grass to contend with, the snake gaiters went on again when I stepped over a snake skin. I annoyed myself by arriving at a cache and opening my bag to find a log book. Luckily CP writes the name of each cache in the log book so was able to detour and return to the cache..Then it was time for lunch, enjoyed a nice picnic and assembled my new camp chair. Super comfy. Then to section 3 which involved quite a long walk and a fair bit of bush bashing/ rock scrambling in parts. Got back to the car for a big drink and checked cachly to see a brand new cache right where Id been walking, 900m away. It was a no brainer to head back for the find. If only Is checked at lunchtime .Set 4 was a higgledy piggledy route with not much walking on paths, again I was on high alert for snakes. I did however Enjoy a nice walk on the Lavender Trail. a few of the caches took quite some time to locate here.I was then a bit puffed and stretched for time so scrapped my plan for another walk and headed back to Strath via a few drive bys.20km of walking later and 2 very sore toes. A few more CP caches ticked off but still many more to go.TFTC CO
Found and signed dsd or darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook. Thanks for the cache and the Adventure.
Another Tuesday treking adventure with Mattycat, today primarily around Murray Bridge and nearby conservation parks before meandering back towards home with an odd cache or two to stretch the legs, with the showers easing off it was time to hit the trails n Kinchina CP starting at the top we made a circular loop with lots of sidetracks followed up and down the hill before stopping for lunch then tackling some caches in the Monarto woodlands, to tackle the caches around the mail series
all in great condition and our stamp added to the letters

Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!

After this one snack time. Lavinia comment was on point. I gave a bag for rubbish as we only leave footprints behind when in the scrub
On my way to the Bridge today for another day of tidy up. Stopped here on the way to pick up some letterboxes to meet the monthly challenge. I parked at the suggested coordinates as suggested. I love walking through these parks, so peaceful, especially today as the air was still, the air crisp and light rain falling for the start of the walk.
Thanks for the letterbox cache CPWanderer. Find #8850 at 8.48am. Cache 3 of 3 for the morning, run out of time, need to head off.

We started this series a week ago but due to unforseen circumstances, we had to stop after two finds. We returned today with the intention of completing the Woodlands Mail series. However, overnight a new series was published nearby. So one member of the team tackled the new series whilst the other completed the Woodlands Mail series.
It was a very pleasant morning with the trees providing some protection from the gusty winds. The open spaces of the reserve made navigation straightforward. This cache, as with all of the other caches, was seen on approach was in good condition. Thanks CPwanderer for this cache and the series.

Today I’m heading towards Kinchina, but I’ve stopped off here to log one more find in this letterbox series. Another song here that I’m not familiar with! As with others in this series, the coordinates are spot on and the cache is in excellent condition.
Thanks for this cache and this series CPwanderer.

Catching up on some old logs.
I was in the mood for some bush walking so I headed to CPwanderer territory for a day of caching. Always assured of a fun and well maintained cache when CP is the owner.
This little trail certainly fit the bill. My favourite way to cache - on foot amongst secluded bush land. Very peaceful here except for the nearby highway traffic, but that can’t be helped.
A very enjoyable bush walk.
Thanks for the cache CPwanderer.

Our first caching outing for more than 20 months! Time to get back into it. Murphy the geodog was ecstatic to be back out in the woodlands.
Geoson #2 brought his female companion along for her first caches.
All easy finds true to the published co-ordinates.
Thanks for the series CPW - maybe we'll run into each other again now that we're back!

Out for an early morning walk, slight mist about this morning. Not many ??, 5 all up. Like the theme and now have some songs to look up and listen to. TFTC CPWanderer and Bindi the Geopup.
Our favourite caching involves a walk. So we were very happy to see this new series when looking for somewhere to get out for a walk today.
We enjoyed the walk, as we have with all of these in the area.
It was great to have the various tunes at each cache. Thank goodness there was a new one at each to break the 'ear worm', as we invariably only knew a few lines or the choruses
I love the amazing bark on the trees in this area. The shiny pinks, greys, oranges are amazing.
Thanks CP wanderer for creating another series for our enjoyment.

Out for a morning walk. It was a cool, overcast morning but at least it was dry.
It was a nice flat walk and it took me around an hour to get around.
All caches were in good order and I seemed to be STF on a few of the caches.

We were still enjoying a lazy Sunday lie in when my phone starting going ballistic with geo notifications for this new CPwanderer series. So we threw on some clothes, grabbed a bag of nutrigrain and coffee to go and off we went. Halfway there and we started getting notifications that some had been found. Almost turned back, so glad we didn't. We had a very enjoyable day geocaching and ended up with 6 FTF's from this series, a lovely chat with CO and finally got to meet Bindi. TFTC CPwanderer
