A quick trip down to Brisbane for the day and now Ive been left to my own devices. Ive never been up here, nice views of the city. Quick find for the cache. Thanks for the cache josephinewardaFind #6674
Found after a search, was about to leave then found it, all on one side of the fence
In Brisbane for the day. Quick find here. Nobody paying us any attention at all. TFTC TNLNSL. All is well here.
A great little find. Its a beautiful find for the first one for todays little arvo adventure with the Geo-puppy Chisel. Signed as KOPHD
I was in Ascot for a funeral and this cache was not too far away, so afterwards I headed here. Ive been here once before for geocaching when there was a waypoint for a puzzle cache and there were tradies around.Today I had the place to myself and so it was an easy find. Logbook signed and after enjoying the view, I headed home. Tftc
I remember coming up here years and years ago to look for a cache I never found it it was possibility a magnetic nano hidden in one of the fence posts??? Obviously that cache has retired and a new one (which is much easier to find) has taken its spot!!This was a quick and easy find today as I had the area to myself. It was nice to sit in the breeze and enjoy the views. TFTC
After attending a CITO this morning, CuriousQuest and I headed out to find a few caches. I have found other caches in this area over the years. The views here are amazing, so it is worth bringing cachers here. I parked the geomobile near GZ and we wandered over. The cache was soon located and our names added to the log. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Out and about with Selva Girls today. A quick look and the cache was in hand. Log was signed and replace as found. TFTC
A quick find here at 1:30am in the morning. No one around to hide from. Thanks for the cache.
Found on 27/4 with TheWilkinsGang, looks like i forgot to log online (The perks of being the driver/navigator)
Nice walk from Bowen Hills train station. A couple of big hills to contend with. Haven't seen this view of the city before. Thank you.
thanks for showing this point. i found the cache on a long walk through the suburbs of Brisbane.tftcurmasuri from bremerhaven/germany
Find #6 16/03/24. After a previous cache on the same day found this one hidden in a great spot! Thanks for the hide! -Alex.
Dropped off the MUX for a major service down at Eagle farm and then ambled home on the bike. First stop was the new Green Bridge across Breakfast Creek and then thought I would look for a few local caches. This is possibly the fourth geocache I have found in this location. Recycling locations like this is always a pleasure. Today was the first time I have ridden up from the southwest and then looped around from the East to get to the location. I think this way was by far the hardest bike ride i have had to the location
Out and about today and grabbed this one on the way home. So many caches at this spot over the years.Parked up and made the short stroll to GZ. Nice quick find.TFTH
Out early to snaffoo a couple for an up coming challenge. I remember 30 odd years ago coming up here after dark with a lovely takeaway roast dinner with my partner to have a romantic dinner by the lights of Brisbane City. Unfortunately we were inundated by a score of feral cats. I digress.. Nice quick find.
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few around Nundah and surrounding areas..I found your cache, Bartley's Lookout today. This is my 2570 find.Quick park and grab. I remember coming to this look out in my late teens. Still got grea views.josephinewarda, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
We had been here before and enjoyed the views but didn't find the cache. Today was a different story. It was raining but a quick look around after reading the hint and soon found it. TFTC! Happy new year!
I remember having come here before for a previous cache and, like today, stopped to admire the view. Moved on to GZ where the cache was found safe and dry. TFTC
As we drove up towards this cache, I was reminded of having been here before on one or two occasions for previous finds, although not in this precise location. We paused to enjoy the wonderful view before heading towards GZ, where I was looking at the wrong thing for a bit, and then The Marble pointed out what size it was we quickly changed what we were looking at and she found it almost immediately. Hardly anyone up here today the overcast skies and intermittent rain probably discouraged most people, but made for a lovely private searching spot for us today. TFTC, josephinewarda. =^.^=
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. My last day on the West Island before I return to Island life What a fantastic view of Brisbane city there is up here. I even was able to log a waymark here. TFTC Found & logged using Cachly for iOS
I wasn't aware of this lookout before today, so it was a pleasant surprise to see the nice lookout setup and great CBD views. It felt like a worthy location for a geocache placement, and I even liked the well-considered geocache hide location as it was away from possible muggles. A quick cache find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. I sorted the logbook pages as they were starting to look scrappy, so hopefully the pages folded together keep better. Thanks josephinewarda for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. ---------- This afternoon, baby Cottontail and I visited Hercules Street Park Playground in Hamilton for a play, and it was certainly an impressive setup with tunnels, foam rock climbing wall, slides and trapeze webs.
Found it quickly after looking at the hint. Its signed it as TBD because of not enough space TFTC
A detour on the way home from an appointment at Kangaroo Point brought us up here to see the view this afternoon. A quick find and the obligatory photo and back on our way. Tftc!
I’m an outreach worker which is perfect for geocaching as I cruise around Brisbane.
This was just what I needed to hill a hole in the calendar. I didn’t want anything too tricky or public on my own. So this was the perfect park and grab on my way back to the office.
Spotted a little lizard poking his head out.
TFTC.

Was in the area to attend my 50th year school reunion. Always check to see if there is a cache nearby when I go somewhere. Very quiet at the lookout today. Found quickly. TFTC
I have been to this place a number of times now to find previous caches and I always enjoy the view. Some of the trees down the hill are getting extremely large and starting to block the view.
The cache was quickly located.

It was a beautifully clear night so this was the perfect cache to find to continue my streak. The view was wonderful and the cache was a nice simple find even at night. Thanks josephinewarda

Out for a solo meander in the drizzling rain this afternoon.
GPS had me in the right spot pretty quickly, but as I gave it a nudge it went sliding down the hill Guess I'd better go fetch it then... Not much fun in the rain, but glad to get the smiley. TFTC, josephinewarda & j4ckr3id.

A quick lunch time outing today to pick up a couple of caches.
I love this place and was happy to come back again, amazing views on such a beautiful, clear day.
Cache quickly found. Thanks josephinewarda & j4ckr3id for the cache.

With the end of the month approaching, and a souvenir on offer, I continued my efforts to find a daily cache.
I know this location well. I occasionally use the stairs below here for some nasty cardio training. Plus the view here is pretty good. Arriving at dusk today, I managed a quick find in between passing cars and dog walkers. There used to be a great view over the river and gateway bridge from the grassy area to east of GZ, but the recently built units have destroyed that. Progress is not always good - just witness the sprawling urban 'tree' . TFTC

Running early for work, this became my cache for the day…. And even at this early hour, there were plenty of muggles about…
I recall my last visit here for a previous cache… a surprising little oasis in mansionville…
Thanks josephinewarda

Rode here after work and my new E bike made it up the hill no worries. At GZ there were muggle council workers but that was ok because i took the time to admire the view and then once they were gone it was a quick find. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
josephinewarda I found your cache Bartley's Lookout on 7/6/2023, 11:30 am. This is my find 5547 and find # 2 today. No problems locating this cache. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Just happened to be passing and noticed this new cache. This must be the 3rd or 4th cache I have found up here, but it’s a great place for one. I hope this particular location allows for a longer life than the others.
Lots of BCC guys hanging around here doing not much with their engines running.
TFTC where all is fine.

After a long morning of house cleaning and cooking it was time to break the domestic shackles and get out and enjoy the out doors and locate a few caches.
It didn’t take long to get myself to ground zero and locate the end prize. Extracting the cache from its hiding space I removed the cache and make a mark and turn this little gem into a smiley.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

I am sure I have been here twice already for caches at this site. I think it even gets a run in an adventure lab, or maybe it is just me reminiscing over previous visits for other than caching purposes. This has been a loooong time favourite spot for me to come to. I think I may have been 12 when my parents brought me up here. Since then I have been coming here for all sorts of visits. I just love this place, although it needs a few trees “trimmed” down for the better views.
I signed the log and replaced as found, thanks for placing here.
I will give it a favourite point, persistence is rewarded lol.
