Oh yes! This is my type of cache! I approached WP1 with excitement, we saw the item and I soon had the required information and were off to the nearby GZ. I admit that there was some fear when I looked up at how high it was, but the branches were plenty and strong. So, up I went, like climbing a ladder. I reached the cache, had a nice lookout at the view, got a photo and signed the log. Then I returned to the ground, my heart beating faster than normal. Thanks for the cache. I loved everything about it!

We're back down in Sydney today for some more climbing caches. This time in and around the city. Just a few more I think before we start heading home so we stopped here particularly as there was the promise of a big climb. We were on our way to WP1 after parking the car when we both spotted the final from the ground with our keen eyes so geokid just went straight for that and had the log signed after climbing the 18m and admiring the view of Botany Bay. Cache and log in good condish. Great climbing tree. TFTC, Googlehihihi.#2012

Another epic GHHH climb! Big GrinAs the previous finder mentioned, I also found WP1 slightly more nerve wrecking than GZ! But it really wasn't that bad, not as bad as other planks I have done! Loved the info there & soon had new coordinates! Getting up to the first branch was the most difficult part without a ladder, but there was just enough things around to work with to get me up that first part! It was then a magnificent climb up to the HGC Kyeemagh swinging in the breeze!TFTC GHHH, another FAVOURITE from me for an awesome two-part climb

I arrived at waypoint and made the walk across the plank, this was the most dodgy park about the whole multi. I got the keyword then down I got. Then over to GZ where up I went. A great climb and a lot of fun going up here. I got to the top and found the cache nicely swinging in the breeze. The cache was found and is all goodIn Sydney today with a day off work between shifts so made the most of it and had 3 virtuals I wanted to target. I headed to Kyeemagh first before catching the ferry out to the south heads of the harbour. A lovely day out Thanks for the cache

A trip to the airport today to drop some Family off. A good excuse to have a Geocaching adventure also. After a shimmy up and along the plank, we had what was needed. Without glasses on, one mistake was made in reading the letters, but the second go, with glasses on, proved more fruitful, and we soon had a set of coordinates. A quick shimmy back down. Off to GZ!We figured it would be right at the top, so we went back to the car to get our small ladder to get to the bottom branch. After that, it was just a case of climbing to the top, up, up and more up. Only a metre or so from the top did we stop to look for the Hide. And there it was! The view from the top was awesome and spectacular on a still summer morning. Log signed and then time to stop and take in the views and wave at the plane which was taking off just in case it had family on board. Thanks Googlehihihi Domsky

Found it! After spending a long time looking for the tag, I found it. I entered the letters into certitude and got it correct. I looked at the pictures in certitude and worked out the tree I needed to climb. I climbed up the 18 meters and spotted the cache. One of my favourites!TFTC

Headed to Sydney with ZQX and caught up with some others. Soon acquired info at wp1 and then enjoyed the 'sights' after deploying a TOTT for the first bit. A bit windy, but not too bad. TFTC Ghhh. Nothing wrong with a few mint tins ... err... gum cans in Sydney.

Crash and myself found ourselves in the area and needing multis we headed over. Up for the first location and our guess for the second was correct. Up we went. A little congested but got to the top to take in the views. TFTC.

Two multis for the price of one at this location. Let me just say that this one certainly earns its terrain stars. Kevin was deployed twice and amazingly no GOMs were spotted here. Thanks for the adrenalin rush.

My first cache find in Sydney!

I’m just passing through Sydney on my way to a quick holiday in China via a stop in Malaysia. I figured I’d fit in a day in Sydney to find a few caches since I’m not here very often.

I’d noticed this one on the map when filtering T-ratings before leaving and as soon as I landed, I hopped into a taxi right to this cache. Remind me never to take a taxi from Sydney airport ever again, absolute highway robbery.

Regardless this cache was a lovely one, I love a good tree climb and have placed a handful back home in Melbourne. Once at the posted coordinates, the information was swiftly gathered and I headed over to GZ. I’ve climbed dozens of pines for caches and while this one is certainly not the highest, it’s the first of this particular variety of pine I’ve cached in.

A nice easy climb to the top and I was rewarded with the log in hand and a beautiful view over the water. Got it signed and replaced as found in no time.

Dipping a few TBs and dropping a FP for this one, thanks for the sweet cache.

Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

I do recommend gloves when attempting this cache as there is plenty of sap on the branches. Well I’m not as scared at heights as I thought, this is probably due to my field of work. On the edge of buildings at times. Climbed straight up towards the clouds and noticed the item close to the summit, up with the planes to, FP

The Brewladder was employed at WP1 to avoid walking the plank. Then again, at GZ, it was used as we went up, up, and away to the cache. Swaying in the breeze, the views are good. In fact, I think I can see my home from here.

Down, down, down to Terra firma. A joint effort with Martin cousins. Have a FP. TFTC

Joint {FTF} with MaxAdventurer at 1 pm inbetween downpours.
After walking the plank like pirates at WP1, we were pining for the... well, er cache!
MaxAdventurer succeeded in the 20m vertical effort to get CIH, but dropped the pen in the process. I climbed a little way up to retrieve it from the branch it landed on, and got a 'poke in the eye with a blunt stick' which is better than falling out of the tree, but still hurts. SL and passed back for the climb back up to replace it. TFTC GHHH
