Container loose on ground. Mower damage preventing tube removal. Looks like a bit of repair work needed
The cache, a fake rock, is indeed missing. The previous finder actually found a broken vape which is the same size and colour as a mint tin. However, it contains a battery and not a logsheet. This has been removed and binned.
With the summer finally arriving, this place is now very busy. Not convenient for a cache.
Enjoying the last day of the school holidays with the geo kids. Stopped here for a picnic and so the kids could cool off. Soon found ourselves having a long chat with the chicken ma , getting to know much about the area (incredibly he was born in the information centre nearby that his parents used to own!)TFTC
found with martydeskHSI, shinkoweeeeeeeHSI and tree100000Loved the friends watching over us!TFTC
With TjaaroxHSI, MartyDeskHSI and tree100000 adventuring around town and hit up this spot. Excellent Cache! First time we had encountered a cache like this one but we thoroughly enjoyed. TFTC!
Nice to be back in Camden. This is such a wonderful place for children to cool off on a very hot day.Cache found. Log signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks to SueDan83 for placing this cache.
It's been a few years since frazeydaze and I cached in Camden, so today we returned for a couple of Adventure Labs and other sundry caches. With it being school holidays and an hot day the nearby Water Play Space was alive with lots of young children. What a wonderful innovation. TFTC SueDan83
This area was so busy with kids on holidays that no one noticed me make my way over to GZ. Quick find here and happy ten years! TFTC
Trusted the hint and quickly found cache safe and well at GZ. Happy 10th Geo-versary Meritonnn.
Cache has not disappeared. It is exactly where is should be. No attention needed at all.
Checked cache - all good.
Someone has torn the logsheet into two parts. They have been rolled together.
Met the "chook man" and had a great conversation. Fortunately, all geocachers have been well behaved and haven't caused any trouble to him or his chooks.

Out with Gundrills looking around, found one log outside of the container and then after a short search, found the container with another log inside. TFTC
Drove past with macka4867 today to check how busy it was here. I guess benefits of a cold and little wet day makes for an empty park. Got to GZ only to find a log lying in the grass and thinking the worse. But after a little more of a search found the cache with another log inside. Returned the roaming log with its mate after signing. TFTC.
Lovely little spot for a geoversary hide for a lovely person. I have met Meritonnn twice, after seeing her name on basically ever local cache I've ever tried to find!
She was immediately friendly to this very socially anxious cacher and didn't even laugh at me when I fell over face first in slow motion out on a geoadventure! Thanks for being so welcoming Meritonnn and TFTC SueDan!
Enjoyed some time with the nearby chooks and sheep.

I first met Meritonnn back in around 2019. I’d been seeing her around for a while but we didn’t really know each other. I remember one of the first things I said to her was “I love your tights!” (Meritonnn is still the undisputed queen of the funky athletic tights!). Since then, we’ve formed a wonderful friendship, galvanised by many Geoadventures in the bush in 2020 when you couldn’t really do much else. Geocaching really brought us together, so I have this quirky little activity to thank for what has become one of my most cherished friendships ??
We’ve gone well past just being geofriends now. We’ve since completed a 22km rogaine, a 27km adventure race, a few orienteering events, lots and lots of 1km track runs, countless hikes, many coffee dates, a handful of parkruns and probably lots more beautiful memories that currently escape me!
Thank you for being such a beautiful friend Meritonnn! I am so grateful to have you in my life and glad there is a cache dedicated to you. You bring so much to this Geocommunity!

Found this afternoon on a walk with the Geodog and geodaughter. I’ve been meaning to grab this one since @Meritonnn’s geoversary. Finally got it. TFTC.
Found just where you said it would be. Had to outwait the muggle tending his chooks. TFTC SueDan83.

Today we headed out to Camden (via Roseville Bridge, Warringah Freeway, Harbour Tunnel, Eastern Distributer, M5 Motorway, and Hume Highway) to attend The Booos "Maker Magic: Cache Creations in Camden" Event, stopping off along the way for a few caches, and then collecting a couple more caches after the Event. This was the 2nd of 7 finds, plus 2 DNFs, for the day.
After finding "Sensory Garden" we next walked over to this one, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The chickens near GZ were very friendly, and very chatty. TFTC SueDan83.

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Streak Day #3628 - Out for a drive this evening with Dave8153 and stopped by for a quick find for our cache of the day. TFTC
A short search in the rear of a nice park. Rooster was annoying me as I did the find
.log dropped out of one piece and then the other, found that there was 2, so replaced in same position, as couldn’t see them both fitting in one. TFTC

Tried to do this one a couple of days ago when I cleared the old DNF on the other side of the park. Unfortunately on that night there was a group of teenage boys hanging around about 30m from this one, and I decided it was a no go.
Came back tonight to a very quiet park, and once I figured out the final approach to GZ it was a quick find.
Thanks SueDan for the cache, and congrats on the geoversary Meritonnn!

On attending the Event nearby the word got around there was a new cache had just been published to mark the Geoversary of Meritonnn . As people disappeared in small groups , Sensible Sis and I decided to investigate .If you weren't a geocacher and watching a number of people circling a tree one would wonder what are these people doing , I know I would .
Eventually , after someone's laces were checked the cache was in hand . A pen was made available as log was shared around for signing .

For so many experienced cachers we took far too long to find this one.

After being severely distracted by cache finding on the way to the event I was surprised when I arrived that there seemed to be so few people here, yet there were vehicles I recognised in the carpark. Where were they?
After meeting and chatting with the CO I learnt that a large group had gone off in search of this cache. This is outside my notification range so I didn't even know it had been published. I chatted and indulged in some sweet treats instead. After the group returned I headed over alone.
I found the cache quickly then chatted with and patted the friendly goats who were over the nearby fence and obviously interested in so many visitors this morning. It's always more satisfying to find a cache yourself!

I saw a few walk away from the event, thinking that they were going for the one I already had - Sensory Garden. I went along for the chat and realised that I had not been here before. Looked at my app and realised that it was a new cache...just in time for the log to be passed to me. PHEW!
Found with a whole bunch of others from the event that this cache is dedicated to.

An event in itself. So funny standing there after I found it, cache was in full view in my hand for a minute, watching everyone else before Brew saw it in my hand. Thanks for the laugh.
Once again, I am nearly lost for words. I am completely blown away - in the very best way of course! Thank you SueDan83 for placing this cache to celebrate my 10th anniversary of geocaching - such a lovely and thoughtful gesture! It was certainly a very unexpected and wonderful surprise on the day! Geocaching has brought me a great deal of fun and joy over the years and I am grateful that it has also allowed me to meet the two of you and enjoy many fantastic adventures over the past few years! Hopefully many more to come!

Wandered over here with the group from the nearby event. With about 10 of us searching the area, the cache was soon found!

What a joyful cache this is for me. Meritonnn is the sort of lovely person who well deserves to be celebrated, and SueDan83 are the sort of lovely people who think to do things like this to celebrate them.
Geodog and I came along to the event today and were having a great time with the event CO when they suggested we go and find this cache as everyone else had been. About this point I realised I'd missed the publication notification. I had thought that a physical cache could be published in conjunction with the event, a few other COs around here are known to do that, including this CO.
We continued our conversation as we strolled along to the cache. Sadly little actual finding was required as the large group of cachers made it obvious where the search area was, and I saw the cache in tronador's hand - a lot quicker than some others it seems. The log was being passed around and Meritonnn was kind enough to add my and geodog's names. Then we joined the group to walk back to the event location.
A great addition to the day and a great indicator of the qualities of the local geocaching community. Also probably the easiest SueDan83 find I'll ever have. Now, having become aware of it at the event I just have to hope that nothing in this log gets me put onto the D list...

Would have loved to have made the event today, but more pressing family matters were at hand at the time. So in an effort to redeem my non attendance, and still commemorate the day for my geofriend Meritonnn, I made a bee line in between things to attempt to track this down.
It took me longer than I would have hoped as o really wasn’t expecting that particular type of hide, but eventually tracked it down and performed the duties.
Happy Geoanniversary my friend, and thanks to SueDan for making the effort to put this out for the day. FP for that
