WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 36 - Williams to Narrogin. I saw a whole pile of Labs in Narrogin along with plenty of caches, so I decided only move on a little bit and spend some time there. I had a slow start with a bought breakfast at the Williams Woolshed cafe. I then cached the 35kms along the main road to Narrogin before a nice walk around the cemetery and then setting up at the Caravan park. The afternoon was my first set of labs and getting enough caches to make the day feel like a day. I will do my logging before heading back into town for dinner.I ventured off the highway for a few short detour caches and was happy to locate all of these today. Thanks for the cache PollyMichele47294.7 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2010 Julius Quintilus A#177**Albida**

Today Taurus Six and I have decided our geocaching plan for the day is to head to the Narrogin area and collect the outstanding caches that we never got around to getting during the WAGB event in June . We did collect lots that weekend but there were still lots more to get be time we left. Today is the first opportunity we have had to get back to Narrogin, since then. It was a lovely drive over this morning from Bunbury. Spring has definitely sprung and the canola fields are looking particularly sensational at the moment. There were also lots of beautiful wild flowers in full bloom in many of the places we visited which was a bonus for the day. The other bonus was having a lovely hearty breakfast at the Williams Wool Shed, this is up there with our favourite eating spots. All in all a great days geocaching and exploring .

This was our seventh cache find of the day . This one had us a little confused at first , but further inspection soon had cache in hand . The birds were in full song around here which added to the enjoyment. Thanks for the cache Polly Michele .

Have travelled with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterborough, Minlaton, Moonta,Whyalla and Wudinna we headed across the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way including Kambalda and the Goldfields. Winding our way home now and a quick flit through Doodlakine, Muckinbudin and Kellerberrin. After spending a couple of nights in Northam and a night in Popanyinning we then headed for a stay in Narrogin. We’ll concealed. Thanks PollyMichelle

Having travelled with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast, down through the centre, the Flinders Ranges, the Yorke Peninsula, and the Nullarbor, we are now on the home stretch. We are now in Narrogin for a few days to catch up on the many caches that have popped up recently. TFTC PollyMichelle.

Full time nomads since February 2014, back in WA to visit family.

In Narrogin still after WA Goes Big 2023. Wow 10years!

After hunkering down yesterday due to the rain. Then a great meal and catch up at the Duke of York last night with most of the remaining cachers still in town. Big Grin Today we headed out towards Williams and Quindanning. The rain became just drizzle but the sun forgot to appear today! Maximum of 9degrees and with a stiff breeze it didnt even feel like that. [xx(]

Found all but 1 of the caches that we hunted today.

WAGB23 Smile Sadly the final day. With a car full of wet camping gear it was time to leave town and start the drive home back to Perth. First up, took a few back roads on the way to Williams to add a few more smiles to the map Smile This was one of them. Spent a few minutes checking out the wrong host before relocating and making a quick find. All ok here today - TFTC

Hoovered up plenty of new caches in both Narrogin and surrounding districts, and had a great time with fellow cachers. Thanks to West Oz Geocaching for organising another ripper event! Caches signed through the weekend as ‘CC’ (meaning Cockburn Crew) to save space on logbooks. Joint *FTF* Cheers PollyMichele! Big Grin

Down in Narrogin for the 10th anniversary of WA Goes Big! What a relief it is being away from the city for a few nights. As expected it was a busy weekend of caching and this meant driving to all corners of the shire and beyond. Picked up plenty of cache and hopefully will be back soon to clear off the rest of the map. Thanks to West Oz Geocaching for a great weekend of events!
