Some maintenance done with CO for this one. We found all of the hides to be varied and fun, pretty much like the nice variety of puzzles in the series too! Thanks chamad Domsky
Headed out with a couple of my best geo buddies whom live local who graciously have their time to transport me around the sailboat series.Smooth sailing for a SundayThanks CHAMAD for creating, placing and maintaining for our enjoyment.
gotta love things that are right there in front of you ... puzzle and then the container as we pulled up
I have spent a bit of time over the last couple of weeks trying to solve all of the puzzles for this geo art series. Today I had a couple of hours spare between family commitments so I headed over the gateway to Pinkenba to squeeze in as many finds as I could. I solved this ages ago, usually starting a series with the lowest difficulty and moving up. I parked at GZ, but the local dogs were saying hi to my dog and i, which was cute, so I started collecting info for the nearby Pinkenba Heritage puzzle. That was a good walk, so when i was back I took the opportunity to have a seat and then spied the cache. I spotted the tether first, and a quick retrieval here. Thanks very much for the cache placement and creation of the series Chamad. A truly super effort. Cheers
A nice, easy way to get coords, and a nice, easy find. The only thing that wasn't quite so easy was to look inconspicuous when the bloke across the road was working on his car.I tried to be as quick as I could, and hopefully he was so engrossed under the hood that he didn't even know I was there, and then gone. Thanks, chamad. Nice and easy
A quick park and find on the way to work this morning. All quiet at this time of morning in the area. TFTC. Great series so far with a variety of hides.
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. Today I had teamed up with GEM_54 to try and knock off as many of the sailboat series as possible.I'm certainly glad we chose a Sunday to do these ones, as the area was almost deserted and so parking near GZ's was never a problem, but I can imagine how busy it would be on a week day, with lots of workers and heavy traffic. On a roll now. Getting used to the CO's hides and managing nice quick finds and no dnf's yet. Let's hope this continues. TFTC
Will admit some of the finds along the way have been challenging, and some easy. We soon had our marks on this log sheet.
GCA9JDN #12 Like Ships that Pass in the NightWith the new souvenir quest on I thought Id go grab some close to home caches.Puzzle solved a long time ago. Didnt take long to spot this oneTFTC chamad
7/7/2024 Find #7070Pprime had suggested a few weeks ago the idea of us working on the sailboat puzzle caches out this way. So, as it was holiday time, I figured I could put a little of the grey matter to work and see what I could come up with. And between us we did pretty darned well, I will say. So it was decided that today he and T4mmmy would collect me and we would take a trip over here to claim everything we could, getting me out and about for the last day of my break, before the rude return to work tomorrow. We found a birds egg at the base of the tree as the dog over the road barked. Thanks for the cache chamad.
Accio 11:24:32A lovely day out 'sailing' with T4mmmy and 1MinnimooThanks chamad for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12562}*
#12 Like Ships that Pass in the NightWith rain originally forecast today I didn't make plans, but as the sun was shining I jumped in the car with geopup to collect some of the sail boat.A collection of great puzzles which were fun to solve.A quick find here, log signed, all replaced as found. Out and about today , visiting around the Brisbane Airport between the Airport and the River. Headed towards GZ and after a short search, cache was found. TFTC
Out and about for our second day of caching on the northside and today's area was over near the airport. Quite a variety to keep us busy and we were able to keep out of the showers most of the time later in the day. Thanks to all the COs.
Thanks for the series chamad and arranging this hide. Quiet this morning which is great. Nice container.
Crew 153, Mrs Crew and NobbysNuts hit the road to find a few caches on Leap Day. We had targeted some of the caches in this series. After lunch at the old "Pink" hotel (No topless waitresses. Just an option for a bikini car wash) we headed to this cache for a quick find.TFTC chamad

Spent a few hours out here collecting caches this morning. Had some trouble with a few due to the recent rain, but Ardom brought his kayak boots and happily sloshed through the puddles A nice variety of caches collected so far. Im looking forward to coming back to collect the rest! TFTPuzzles and caches!
A new year and I am still going out caching just before 2am in a big truck. Luckily there is plenty of parking available around here. It took me a little to spot this container in the dark. And now my name is on the log sheet. Thanks for the cache.
When they firstly announced that wine bottles were becoming part of the Containers for Change program I rejoiced. Finally all the time and effort I have invested in wine over the years was going to pay off. Not only that I was going to be rewarded for all those horsecrud clean skin wines that my mother-in-law would always bring over.We moved with the times and now have our dedicated recycling bins out the back that we fill up and recycle when they are full. Normally that was about 4 times a year which seemed to always coincide with the school holidays. When you have to wait in line for so long to get so little I was happy we didnt have to do it more often. So we get 10 cents for every wine bottle which sounds like a blessing, but is a bloody curse. I used to have to visit the recycling centre once every 3 months and now I am lining up to recycle twice a day. After emptying the bins, I jump straight back in the line and can usually put away enough wine to justify me lining up straight away again. tftc
Only ship I've been on at night was The Princess of Tasmania and went through the RIP between Melbourne and Devonport. Puzzle by hand. A quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks chamad. All good with this cache and puzzle.
I had previously bypassed this one as a neighbour was out in their yard. The coast was clear today but we parked our car in a way to obscure any view of our activity anyway. A nice quick park and grab and we were away. Thanks chamad
Headed out after the Secret Santa 2023 event to knock off a few more of this geoart. Log signed & returned as found TFTC
These puzzles were solved when they first came out and we had a chance to collect our handy work today. My gps was slow so I missed the road to turn down so had a little further walk to GZ. No issues with the cache.Tftc chamadFind #4829
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. This morning I headed out on my to find some of the solved sailing boat caches I ended up finding & signing the log on 18 caches for the morning. I like this type of hide Found & logged using Cachly for iOS
Over the last week IolantheK and me have looking out towards the bay at a little sailing boat with no smilies We decided to try and light it up (well mostly, a few challenges have remained dark )Some were easy, whilst others weren't so much harder but took a while to decode, whilst others required one to get into the mind of the CO In the end I think we managed to solve all but three without assistance (Me thinks some puzzling may require a psychiatry degree, as IolantheK says "purple because aliens" )So with that done we headed out over the last weekend and found and signed a great variety of caches!!*Well done chamad TFTCs*
T-Tech and I headed out again this afternoon to see if we could finish off this series A quick solve here! The cache was spotted as we neared GZ. TFTC, chamad.
This series' puzzles were interesting and a great tutorial for those learning the different types. I was able to recognise most puzzles, and then had to research a few others on the typical puzzle-solving websites. Regarding this puzzle, a simple approach with hidden coordinates that had me solve this reasonably quickly on 30/07/2023.Regarding the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series, I really enjoyed my Sunday afternoon in the industrial areas of Eagle Farm, Pinkenba and Myrtletown, and it was largely quiet other than a few trucks and Uber drivers / taxis heading between the ports of the cruise terminal and Tangalooma. I think it is a choice area to place the geoart, as it is out of the way and its quieter street network makes it optimal to add geocaches. Furthermore, I felt like there were a few opportunities to add larger-sized containers with the suburbs' factories/industry. To give others an indication of timing, I was able to collect 24 finds in 2:40 hr, commencing at 14:20 hr. The series gets a big thumbs-up! A quick cache find at this location, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Nice 3D printing, but it did feel like the excessive bag is causing a tight fit. Thanks [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, I had a few hours available whilst baby Cottontail was napping, and a family get-together, so I decided to finally return to the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series having visited the area briefly during its first night of publication. A delightful afternoon with good weather and reasonably quick finds that had my mood in good spirits despite gallivanting around this series solo.
Cache- good thing about having my bike was that i could just look like i pulled over to get some shade and look at my phone when i was actually looking for this cache which i spotted quickly.Puzzle-The puzzle did not fool me for too long. Fun day- Today i decided to go for a bike ride from home to find some of this series. I had to ride past a few because one there was a truck parked right at GZ and the Truckee obviously asleep with the curtains drawn. Another someone pulled up in their car right in front of GZ just as i got there and others i rode past that needed either fishing gear or had off road attribute that i need for November . Also i cant get 2 multis in one day . I ended up going 53km in 5 hours and it is a great place to ride on a weekend so i am looking forward to coming back next month. Thanks chamad for all the fun
Tftc Chamad, weekday is probably not the best choice for these as the area is quite busy.Enjoyed the puzzlesNice geo art
A team up with Gunnie69 today to tackle this geoart. He had them solved, and some of the challenges we both were able to qualify for. So today we made a team effort to make the finds here. We started up top and worked our way down. Some were tricky, like working out on site puzzles, and some were easy straightforward finds - but hey that is all part of the fun of making a find. We parked the car nice and close to get this one as it was very overlooked and a resident nearby tending to their garden. TFTC
A nice quick visit to GZ which was appreciated as we probably felt the most exposed at this one than any other this morning. Too many windows nearby for our liking... Thankfully, it was nice and quiet and I used the car to cover the activities at GZ as much as I could. Names in the log, container returned as found, we moved on pretty quickly. With all the puzzles solved at home where I could and the challenges checked for qualification, I teamed up with NurseyJulie this morning to pick up what we could. Heading to the furthest point to start, then working our way back toward the big smoke, we managed to get almost every cache on the list, despite spending a chunk of time sorting the multi and unknown caches out at the boat ramp. I was sad to see the multi over there once we had the final cords. Thanks for the variety and some interesting hides Chamad, we had a great morning hunting icons.
I came out to the Pinkenba area, on this quiet Sunday morning, to sign some challenge caches and find some of this series that I managed to solve - more than I would have thought possible! Once my phone gpsr settled down, it was a quick find. Tftc
Found on a pleasant Spring afternoon while out driving in the area with grandson.I've solved quite a few of these puzzles and this is our first foray into making a little yellow sailboat appear on our geomap. What a cute little cache this is. All good hereThanks for puzzle (loved it) and cache Chamad.
Out finding a few caches with Dora the Explorer! The sailboat geoart was our target for the day. All caches, except one, were quickly located and the logs signed. We enjoyed this series with its variety of puzzles, D/Ts, containers and hides. Thanks, chamad, for the effort involved in this geoart for the enjoyment of all cachers.....and TFTC.
Today's geocaching adventure took me to a most extraordinary place: a heavy industrial area perched alongside the majestic river. What made this expedition truly unique was the fusion of mystery, multi, letterbox, and challenge caches, each ingeniously hidden amidst the gritty industrial landscape.
This power trail was unlike any other, not just because of its diversity but also the added thrill of tree climbs, tree fishing, and exceptional camouflage. It was an adventure lover's paradise!
The relentless buzz of machinery contrasted beautifully with the soothing flow of the nearby river, setting the stage for an unforgettable day of geocaching. As I navigated through the labyrinthine structures, I felt like an urban explorer on a quest for hidden treasures.
Tree climbs and tree fishing were the name of the game in this power trail. Each cache brought its unique challenge - from scaling heights to reaching seemingly impossible places. The adrenaline rush with each find was exhilarating!
Camouflage took on a whole new meaning as these caches were expertly hidden in plain sight, blending seamlessly with their industrial surroundings. It took a keen eye and a patient hand to reveal them.
The logbooks within these caches told tales of fellow adventurers who had dared to tackle this extraordinary trail. I proudly added my geocaching username, the date, and a heartfelt message of gratitude in each logbook.
This power trail was a testament to the ingenuity of the cache owners, who turned an industrial landscape into a geocacher's playground. To them, I extend my utmost appreciation.
As I conclude this epic geocaching journey, I am left with memories of exhilarating climbs, unexpected finds, and the undeniable thrill of urban exploration. Until the next adventure, may your caches be as creative as this one!

On a quick trip North with a few Sydney mates and a colourful local for a few days on the water, in the mud and up the hills, running around grabbing some beaut caches. Much joint puzzle-solving and planning paid off. On day 3, we left the water and mud behind in favour of tall trees, steep hills and a final race around the streets near the airport.
We signed with the space-saving catch-all, “megagom”, in memory of previous exploits.
Thanks chamad.

Some plans were hatched with a local and some Sydney Siders for a 3 day quick caching trip which involved getting the boat out, yaks, mud, poles, ladders, trees etc. Plenty of solving was done and routes plotted. The boat, the MV Grumpy lived up to its name with some cantankerous displays and the need for running repairs on serval occasions so our timetable had to be amended on more than one occasion.
Day 3 was planned to be a land day well with a few trees as well.
This was the last leg, how much of the art work can be collected before the flight in a few hours? The answer is most of it.
A number of us have thought we have previously been the victims of caching identity theft by that mysterious mob called the GOM’s. As a result and given it felt like a bit of a mega the logs were signed MegaGOM. TFTC

Together with Crash2079, Baktrak, bella at waggy and a notorious QLDer this was day 3 of the MegaGOM's special edition Brisbane adventure.
Sans the boat today, there were far less mishaps other than losing a certain member of the party for some time.
Caches all found and in good condition.

We climbed up trees, fished a lot and bent over to get the cache containers, and signed the log with TBU.

Lovely day out caching with geo friends, and Saturday sure is a good day to be in this industrial landscape, with very little traffic to contend with.It was another good pick-up before heading towards the winds for the next one.Thank you, chamad, for placing this cache for our benefit combined with all the hard work, time, and effort you put into the puzzles & hides ????

After the Sweden, Sweden, Sweden... Bork! Bork!! BORK!!!! event this morning, with a promise of a trip to Officeworks I got Karicka in the car… Beardman75 came along as arm candy after ensuring he had the appropriate footwear on…
So my plans to save these caches for a rainy day went out the window… a fabulous afternoon full of dark humour, reminiscing and man bonding… not to be confused with bondage… that’s different…
Lucky I was driving, my passengers normally step over anything less than a 2.5/2.5…
Thanks chamad

On a short break from work today I jumped in the geowagon and headed out to pick up a few recently placed caches in this new piece of geoart close to home.
On arrival a safe place to park the car was found and after a short walk, I soon laid my hands on the cache and made my mark on the log before safely returning the cache back in its hides hole.
Quick walk back to the car and I was quickly off to grab another in the series.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available for fellow cachers to find.
Cheers

I had settled down over dinner, hoping to watch the cricket, when I noticed my inbox had been smashed with notifications for this series. I was feeling lazy and opted not to head out chasing them, but instead stayed up late, cheering every Aussie ashes run and Pommy wicket and solved most of the puzzles.
After a lazy breakfast, I headed out with the intention of snaffling up as many of the first to finds that were still available. This was my second stop and there were no logs or notes posted yet, so I was confident.
On opening the logbook, I discovered I had been beaten by Brislions by about 7 minutes. Logbook signed to claim STF
Many thanks Chamad
