2778 - I was in the area yesterday to pick up some of the ones I had solved in this series, but I didn't quite grab them all, as I needed to grab some lunch. I knew I was going to come back today though, as a Cruise ship was in port which meant that the Cruise Terminal would be open and I could grab the Adventure Labs up there, before making my way back to the west a little to grab the remaining ones I had solved. Like Fasted, I also should have listened to Barb, as I had a brief look on "her" side, but I went over to the other side before I realised it was back where I was initially looking. I made a quick note in the log book at 12:44pm, before I was on my way to the next one. Thanks again for the cache and the geoart series chamad.

haven't done this puzzle for a while i told him it was the other side

06-Oct-24
I have spent a bit of time over the last couple of weeks trying to solve all of the puzzles for this geo art series. Today I had a couple of hours spare between family commitments so I headed over the gateway to Pinkenba to squeeze in as many finds as I could. I recognised the requirements of the puzzle here straight away, and pretty soon I had some transcribed coordinates. At GZ it did take a minute or two to spot the cache camouflage, and all was good with the container and log book within. Thanks very much for the cache placement and creation and maintenance of the series Chamad. A truly super effort. This is a new favourite cache of mine. Cheers

Another cache that just required a bit of time to solve, but wasn't too difficult, with the right resources. On my big "chamad day", 21st September, I found all of the caches that I targeted in this series. After an enjoyable tree climb on my previous cache find, this one was less than enjoyable, as I'm not a particular fan of the foliage nearby. And what's to be said about the cache? Well, that's just weird. I'm sure it used to be something.Anyway, the weekend is a good time to visit here, with no one nearby. I signed the log and put everything back where I found it. Now off to the next one. My caching day is quickly drawing to a close. Thanks, chamad, for a full, fun, finding day.

God, I hate lomandra. It's supposed to have a capital letter, but I'm not giving it that honour. I did find the cache and signed the log . . . eventually. The one small plus is that I found 60 cents worth of bottles, so all was not lost.

25-Aug-24
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. Today I had teamed up with GEM_54 to try and knock off as many of the sailboat series as possible.I'm certainly glad we chose a Sunday to do these ones, as the area was almost deserted and so parking near GZ's was never a problem, but I can imagine how busy it would be on a week day, with lots of workers and heavy traffic. After stopping for a bite to eat, time to continue on with the final third of the series. Still on a roll with this one too, even though the find took a while due to the vegetation at GZ. TFTC

25-Aug-24
We arrived at G.Z. and took one look and we knew we were in for a fun hunt. We got there in the end. Signed log and replaced as found. Wouldn't, like to try this one on a work day ,as we reckon it would be a busy street. Tftc

7/7/2024 Find #7058Pprime had suggested a few weeks ago the idea of us working on the sailboat puzzle caches out this way. So, as it was holiday time, I figured I could put a little of the grey matter to work and see what I could come up with. And between us we did pretty darned well, I will say. So it was decided that today he and T4mmmy would collect me and we would take a trip over here to claim everything we could, getting me out and about for the last day of my break, before the rude return to work tomorrow. With three of us clunking around here, we finally found something a bit more sus than the other items here. Thanks for the cache chamad.

I find myself once again in Brisbane for a short visit. After the duties of the day, chasing some caches is certainly a good way of making the best of being in Queenslands caching Mekka. Unfortunately, it is rather rainy this time around, so I am focusing more on the urban caches, just in case the hunt has to be ended sooner rather than later. This was one of the caches I have found during my trip, so thanks chamad for creating the Regular sized 3.5/1.5 Mystery Geocache #13 Toe the Line.

20-Apr-24
Out and about for our second day of caching on the northside and today's area was over near the airport. Quite a variety to keep us busy and we were able to keep out of the showers most of the time later in the day. Thanks to all the COs.

06-Apr-24
Have seen the puzzle before but dont know the conversion offhand & so it took a little work to solve. Find this morning was much simpler - tapped with my toe and there it was. TFTC.

I am on my morning drive for work. It is 1:30am and have a few minutes to find a cache or two. Big GrinPlenty of room to park the truck here and I made a quick find. Cool Always a good thing. SmileThanks for the cache.

2nd day of collecting this series, and a much drier & quieter day today which allowed for some creative parking at some GZs. A fun series with a variety of different hides, and no DNFs which is a good day. TFTCaches!

I was happy to find this without too much trouble. Looked like it could be rather annoying. TFTC!

We had finally arrived at our last cache for the day and we had timed everything perfectly because it was just starting to spit rain. The cache had a few trinkets in it that my preschool wife wanted so I made a trip back to the car to grab something to replace them with. The Christmas before last my daughter bought me a Star Wars Lego advent calendar. Each day you popped out a little bag of Lego and made something from the movies. I kept all 24 of those little figurines on a shelf for a few months before Mrs Woodyrothwell told me I could pack all that crap in a bag and leave it in caches. So when I went looking for something I found the Lego. Lego is almost as expensive as a kidney on the black market so I didnt want to part with it, but it had been sitting the boot for almost a year. I picked out the worst bits and left them behind for the next geocacher to collect and sell on Ebay. tftc

19-Jan-24
After striking out at an earlier cache even with a PAF, I headed over to find another from the boat art for my streak instead. Theyve been kind to me so far so I had high hopes. At GZ my heart sank as I looked at the hiding possibilities but, as luck would have it, my phone light reflected back off the container in the first place I looked. Always love an interesting camouflage. Thanks chamad

GCA9JDQ #13 Toe the LineLast minute decision to go for the December solstice souvenir has me grabbing a few of these. The beauty of a Saturday hunt the streets are pretty empty. Pulled up at GZ of no. This could take a while. Checked out something suspicious but not a cache. Ventured a little future spied something else a little suspicious yippee. The cache! Solved this one on a break at work. TFTC chamad

One look at the Lomandra almost had me doing a U-turn and heading back out. But luckily I decided to have a quick look just in case. Glad I did as it wasnt too difficult to find. cache and camouflage both in good nick. TFTC

Over the last week IolantheK and me have looking out towards the bay at a little sailing boat with no smilies We decided to try and light it up (well mostly, a few challenges have remained dark )Some were easy, whilst others weren't so much harder but took a while to decode, whilst others required one to get into the mind of the CO In the end I think we managed to solve all but three without assistance (Me thinks some puzzling may require a psychiatry degree, as IolantheK says "purple because aliens" )So with that done we headed out over the last weekend and found and signed a great variety of caches!!Loved the camo *Well done chamad TFTCs*

12-Nov-23
T-Tech and I headed out again this afternoon to see if we could finish off the CO's My Little Sailing Boat Geoart series A familiar puzzle. Thankfully I looked hard enough! TFTC, chamad.

29-Oct-23
This series' puzzles were interesting and a great tutorial for those learning the different types. I was able to recognise most puzzles, and then had to research a few others on the typical puzzle-solving websites. Regarding this puzzle, an immediate recognition of its code, and then another television session to work through its decryption before getting the correct coordinates on 30/07/2023.Regarding the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series, I really enjoyed my Sunday afternoon in the industrial areas of Eagle Farm, Pinkenba and Myrtletown, and it was largely quiet other than a few trucks and Uber drivers / taxis heading between the ports of the cruise terminal and Tangalooma. I think it is a choice area to place the geoart, as it is out of the way and its quieter street network makes it optimal to add geocaches. Furthermore, I felt like there were a few opportunities to add larger-sized containers with the suburbs' factories/industry. To give others an indication of timing, I was able to collect 24 finds in 2:40 hr, commencing at 14:20 hr. The series gets a big thumbs-up! I found the area around GZ like a vegetation maze; a real field puzzle, so after walking the long way through the grass and back around to the car, I soon found the cache. Nice outer cache camouflage construction, and a Favourite Point for something different and the construction's good effort. I was actually surprised that I was the first to award a Favourite Point with this one. Otherwise, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, I had a few hours available whilst baby Cottontail was napping, and a family get-together, so I decided to finally return to the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series having visited the area briefly during its first night of publication. A delightful afternoon with good weather and reasonably quick finds that had my mood in good spirits despite gallivanting around this series solo.

23-Oct-23
A delayed flight meant I had some time to pick up a few caches in this series. It was dark but it meant I wasnt being watched as I searched by torchlight. Looked harder and found the prize. Tftc chamad

Cache- good thing it was the weekend. I thought this would take ages to find when i got to GZ but the compass took me straight to it. Love the cachePuzzle-The puzzle was funFun day- Today i decided to go for a bike ride from home to find some of this series. I had to ride past a few because one there was a truck parked right at GZ and the Truckee obviously asleep with the curtains drawn. Another someone pulled up in their car right in front of GZ just as i got there and others i rode past that needed either fishing gear or had off road attribute that i need for November . Also i cant get 2 multis in one day . I ended up going 53km in 5 hours and it is a great place to ride on a weekend so i am looking forward to coming back next month. Thanks chamad for all the fun

A team up with Gunnie69 today to tackle this geoart. He had them solved, and some of the challenges we both were able to qualify for. So today we made a team effort to make the finds here. We started up top and worked our way down. Some were tricky, like working out on site puzzles, and some were easy straightforward finds - but hey that is all part of the fun of making a find. Gunnie thought it could be in one spot, but had to move a little more into the bush. I went on the outside and soon spotted it between the two of us. TFTC

30-Sep-23
Maybe I took the hint a little too literally and commenced my hunt too deep into the greenery. NurseyJulie took a different approach and pulled the container from a spot that was much easier to get to. Red FaceWith all the puzzles solved at home where I could and the challenges checked for qualification, I teamed up with NurseyJulie this morning to pick up what we could. Heading to the furthest point to start, then working our way back toward the big smoke, we managed to get almost every cache on the list, despite spending a chunk of time sorting the multi and unknown caches out at the boat ramp. Red Face I was sad to see the multi over there once we had the final coords. SadThanks for the variety and some interesting hides Chamad, we had a great morning hunting icons. Smile

24-Sep-23
I came out to the Pinkenba area, on this quiet Sunday morning, to sign some challenge caches and find some of this series that I managed to solve - more than I would have thought possible - some easy and some very hard. Took a few minutes to find the well hidden cache. Tftc

17-Sep-23
As I was earlier for work I decided to grab this cache. Solve earlier in the day. At GZ the cache was found, log signed and replace back then headed towards work.chamad thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.

Out finding a few caches with Dora the Explorer! The sailboat geoart was our target for the day. All caches, except one, were quickly located and the logs signed. We enjoyed this series with its variety of puzzles, D/Ts, containers and hides. Thanks, chamad, for the effort involved in this geoart for the enjoyment of all cachers.....and TFTC.

Today's geocaching adventure took me to a most extraordinary place: a heavy industrial area perched alongside the majestic river. What made this expedition truly unique was the fusion of mystery, multi, letterbox, and challenge caches, each ingeniously hidden amidst the gritty industrial landscape.

This power trail was unlike any other, not just because of its diversity but also the added thrill of tree climbs, tree fishing, and exceptional camouflage. It was an adventure lover's paradise!

The relentless buzz of machinery contrasted beautifully with the soothing flow of the nearby river, setting the stage for an unforgettable day of geocaching. As I navigated through the labyrinthine structures, I felt like an urban explorer on a quest for hidden treasures.

Tree climbs and tree fishing were the name of the game in this power trail. Each cache brought its unique challenge - from scaling heights to reaching seemingly impossible places. The adrenaline rush with each find was exhilarating!

Camouflage took on a whole new meaning as these caches were expertly hidden in plain sight, blending seamlessly with their industrial surroundings. It took a keen eye and a patient hand to reveal them.

The logbooks within these caches told tales of fellow adventurers who had dared to tackle this extraordinary trail. I proudly added my geocaching username, the date, and a heartfelt message of gratitude in each logbook.

This power trail was a testament to the ingenuity of the cache owners, who turned an industrial landscape into a geocacher's playground. To them, I extend my utmost appreciation.

As I conclude this epic geocaching journey, I am left with memories of exhilarating climbs, unexpected finds, and the undeniable thrill of urban exploration. Until the next adventure, may your caches be as creative as this one!

#7346

Day 3 of MegaGOM boating and tree fishing expedition with **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Purplepeopleater** and an anonymous local.

After 2 days on the water, it was time to remain on terra firma. But we still caught some fish, and for some, it was a big slog up a steep hill. Towards the end of the day, it was a mad dash mopping up around the airport and still managing to get through security on time.

Enjoyed all the caches and the company was reasonable as well.

27-Aug-23
Some plans were hatched with a local and some Sydney Siders for a 3 day quick caching trip which involved getting the boat out, yaks, mud, poles, ladders, trees etc. Plenty of solving was done and routes plotted. The boat, the MV Grumpy lived up to its name with some cantankerous displays and the need for running repairs on serval occasions so our timetable had to be amended on more than one occasion.
Day 3 was planned to be a land day well with a few trees as well.
This was the last leg, how much of the art work can be collected before the flight in a few hours? The answer is most of it.
A number of us have thought we have previously been the victims of caching identity theft by that mysterious mob called the GOM’s. As a result and given it felt like a bit of a mega the logs were signed MegaGOM. TFTC

27-Aug-23
On a quick trip North with a few Sydney mates and a colourful local for a few days on the water, in the mud and up the hills, running around grabbing some beaut caches. Much joint puzzle-solving and planning paid off. On day 3, we left the water and mud behind in favour of tall trees, steep hills and a final race around the streets near the airport.
We signed with the space-saving catch-all, “megagom”, in memory of previous exploits.
Thanks chamad.

Together with Crash2079, Baktrak, bella at waggy and a notorious QLDer this was day 3 of the MegaGOM's special edition Brisbane adventure.
Sans the boat today, there were far less mishaps other than losing a certain member of the party for some time.

Caches all found and in good condition.

In two lots TBU1BIKESU and I got all the sailing boat caches - including signing the challenge caches, but I still have to work on them to qualify.

We climbed up trees, fished a lot and bent over to get the cache containers, and signed the log with TBU.

Lovely day out caching with geo friends, and Saturday sure is a good day to be in this industrial landscape, with very little traffic to contend with.Nice and quick find after thinking it would be too hard with all those nasty lomandra bushes around the vicinity.Thank you, chamad, for placing this cache for our benefit combined with all the hard work, time, and effort you put into the puzzles & hides ????

Thank you, chamad, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

16-Aug-23
Same as the previous cache, I managed to ‘read’ the code very quickly and extract what I needed.
I groaned a little when I saw the GZ as I expected a difficult and spiky search but in fact, the accurate coords and rather funny outer container made for a fast find.
The inner has slightly detached but the contents are still very dry and safe so it should be OK.
TFTC once again.

After the Sweden, Sweden, Sweden... Bork! Bork!! BORK!!!! event this morning, with a promise of a trip to Officeworks I got Karicka in the car… Beardman75 came along as arm candy after ensuring he had the appropriate footwear on…

So my plans to save these caches for a rainy day went out the window… a fabulous afternoon full of dark humour, reminiscing and man bonding… not to be confused with bondage… that’s different…

I was about to sink knee deep into the lomandra when Beardman75 saved the day (again) and called found it just before I did myself an injury…

Thanks chamad

Out for the day with RoddyC, hatzofff, Imbunda and echocage1 finding caches in the Little Sail Boat series.Lots of interesting places to see the river from around here, although the smells are a bit on the nose at times.Parking was not a problem today being a Saturday, so parked anywhere and made our way to GZ. I spotted it quickly as I may have had a sneak peak of the CO's handywork on a prior caching day. His Ute is chockers with caches. With log signed, cache was returned.TFTC chamad

06-Aug-23
Noticed that this new piece of geoart earlier this week and managed to get through quiet a few over the last few days. The unfortunately I didn’t have much of a window to get out and pick them up as we had interstate guests to entertain this weekend.

Did however manage to sneak a hour or so in late on Sunday and made quick work of the closest 10 or so caches to home.

Caches all found safe and well and logs quickly signed and returned to there containers.

A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available to be found. I’ll soon be back for the rest.

Cheers

I had settled down over dinner, hoping to watch the cricket, when I noticed my inbox had been smashed with notifications for this series. I was feeling lazy and opted not to head out chasing them, but instead stayed up late, cheering every Aussie ashes run and Pommy wicket and solved most of the puzzles.

After a lazy breakfast, I headed out with the intention of snaffling up as many of the first to finds that were still available.

No doubt the weekend is a good time to go caching around here. These estate were nice and quiet today, so I was not bothered at all whilst on the hunt for this one. Coordinates ere spot on and pleasantly surprised at the size of the container.

Another blank logbook with the ***FTF*** claimed at 0854. Many thanks Chamad
