It took a couple of minutes of hunting before we located this cache. The posted coordinates had us on a grassed area. So we ad to widen the search area and only then was the cache located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks st3phi3_91 for the cache.
Trying to keep up with the Jones in the Cosmic Quest, while also trying to fill in calendar days. Many thanks st3phi3_91 for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.Greetings from Tatura, Australia
In looking for caches I could head towards to add to the Cosmic challenge I discovered that Id failed to log the caches Id found around the Broadford area This was one of them TFTC st3phi3
Driving home from a weekend visiting friends and collecting caches along the way. Tftc Sorry for the late log.
Had a lovely wander around the historical buildings. *The generic bit*We took our new geo-vehicle on an overnight trip and did some caching on the way home. Although the weather was a bit cold and miserable to start with, once the sun cam out it was a pleasant day for a drive. We found a good assortment of caches, completed a few adventure labs and learnt a thing or two along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches.
This was another quick find almost as soon as we got to GZ I spotted somethings that didn't belong and sure enough uncovered the cache. While gnome5580 was signing the log I noticed about half a dozen paper wasps checking out the gutter just above the cache, here's hoping they're not thinking of making a new home here! TFTC!!
With Dot558 on way home after a great 3 days at Tungamah camping and timed for a stop on way home and able to get some smilesThanks fir the caches
We were driving down the Hume after an amazing holiday at the Canberra Geobash and Sydney/Blue Mountains, and stopped in to Broadford to honour a promise of ice cream. Geo partner was terribly interested in the big round thing across the way, so I pondered the existance of any nearby caches. Oooo... 47m! Yes please. A lovely quick find tonround off our Nroadford trip. TFTC
Well after my two weeks away to Tasmania, then to SA for the Leap Year Mega then a couple of weeks at home then off to Canberra for the OZ Mega. It's back to streak time again.Im now back at home so it is back to suburban or rural caches after work to try and beat my last streak of 67.It is just a personal challenge that Im working on.So it is now decision time to either take a small detour on the way home or a larger detour on the way home to find a cache to keep this going. So todays detour is up the Hume to this one.I have not been to Broadford that often but I cant recall who many times I have driven past the turn off.I might have to come back and have a closer look at this area as it looks very interesting with all of the history. But today was only cache related so it was a quick in and out.Found somewhere to park and I soon found, signed and returned the cache. Thanks st3phi3_91 TFTC.
Found at 1:36 PM GAFF1.A very nice quite time today which meant that we could concentrate on the cache hide that we were able to spot from a distance.Appreciated the information about the pioneer "village" - just fascinating to us.Thanks to st3phi3_91
#5455 Mr BGF and the geohounds have headed into town to pick up two essential supplies for camp, you guessed it, water and beer. Before doing that we grabbed a few caches including this one. Nice set up showing the local key buildings of yesteryear. Enjoyed a squiz of the area. TFTC!
Thanks for showcasing this little historic area.Found on the way to the Canberra mega
The Adelaide Leap Day Mega and Canberra Geobash gave us a great excuse for a road trip. This trip has shown us so many new and interesting places as weve chased LGAs, oldies, challenges, interesting D/T combinations, rarer cache types and favourites.Meeting up with friends old and new along the way, we sometimes cached together and sometimes alone but always had a great time. Today we made our way across from Avoca to Broadford, stopping at anything that caught our eye along the way. These turned out to be all wonderful caches. After setting up camp in Broadford, we walked through town collecting any caches we passed along the way. Thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache and adding to our enjoyment.
Day off today so we thought wed head out for the day & gather some smiles. No one about here today. Quick find. TFTC

Ballarat Geo-Tour Trip
Day #1 of 4 (15/9)
What a trip! 10 hours of travel while finding the occasion Geocache along the way. Before you ask, yes I did plan a trail which included 12 caches. These caches focused on collecting as many LGA’s as I could. I also made sure to find: GC7A, because I have never found a cache that was hidden in 2000 before. All caches were quick finds and were fun. When I got into Ballarat I found a letterbox cache near my motel before getting dinner. TB visit. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring me and others enjoyment. TFTC’s
While traveling south to Ballarat, I stopped off here to find this cache. A nice quick find at GZ and now off to the next one.

Weather was ok albeit a bit on the wet side for the first two days. Now on day 3 the weather is bice and sunny and we are pressing on with the last few Geotour caches on the way out and driving towards Queenscliff.
This cache was one of the ones we had the oportunity to do.
A stop for the night in Broadford and doing the locsl caches after dinner in the dark.
Thank you st3phi3_91 for the nice cache and experience you gave us!

This cache was one found on a trip away with Flintstone's for 4 days. We had the Geotour in Ballarat as our target, and made our way as far as Queenscliff.
Ballarat caching was a joy, and with the tour, we saw many lovely and interesting locations as well as stopping for many other caches as we passed. Lots of little walks helped with the colder first few days as well as being quite scenic.
A change of weather and scenery towards Queenscliff but the coast was a great place to visit with plenty to do and see. As always, more to do than there was time for, will just have to return one day! Thank you for your cache!
After the event and dinner, walked across to this cool cache. Nice spot and cache found after a short search.

I Love where this cache is hidden, this is a beautiful historic spot! We saw a little painted rock on the way in. And enjoyed seeing the old buildings.
This geocache is quite a close neighbour to my hide just down the same road as well! I’ve awarded a favourite point.

This was our last stop on our 8km walk with our dog, after lunch at a nearby cafe.
Have found a cache in this area before, many years ago.

{FTF} I always thought about placing a cache here given the history of the place. Great location and history of the area. I was travelling to work and had to claim the FTF given I live sort of close by. Close enough to get this one anyway. Thanks for the cache St3phi3_91
Nice find for the kids in the dark. They loved using their new torches for the hunt ️
