Logs
Bored with a one-a-day streak, felt like changing things up and creep a little closer towards an upcoming milestone (with a specific cache and rough date in mind). Targeted this trail with a variety of trads, pre-solved puzzles and an AdvLab (some WPs sharing GZs) adding helpful numbers.
TFTC. Sarah and Bethany enjoyed finding this cache. Paper needs to be refilled.
Found this cache while in Camden for an event, the log sheet is pretty full, but i did find a spot where i could sign my name, thanks for the cache Dragons2010.
After finding this walk the other day when doing AL we were determined to come back and clear the board. TFTC
Going to try this new walk today and found this cache super easy! And Im not the first one today ??
I was taking cnr a little too literally before taking a step back and spotting it straight away. Nicely hidden and great ride around here. TFTC!
And so, boys and girls, we come to the end of our walk(having decided to do the walk in order of caches, not travel in the direction that most people seem to prefer)The work that the council has done has broadened the scope of the walk, the new information signs added to its interest, and the new pieces of art along the way added to its enjoyment. Once the areas of new planting are better established, that should add to things as wellThere were a couple of possibilities for this cache, but I was able to spot the wire holding it, and this made the choice between those options an easy one to make. Thanks again to Dragons 2010 for establishing this cache and for keeping it going.
A further update ,appears that the walk will be reopened by end of May, with an official reopening mid June
advised by a Camden Council representative that the pathway will be reopened by mid May
Unfortunately , after contacting Camden Council the area will be close for at least another month while work is currently been done . I will continue to monitor the situation on a weekly basis
Council maintenance still being done, and may continue for a few weeks.will activate when completed
For its location, I found this one relatively quickly. I thought it was going to be a long search. I was feeling good about the find until rassilon256 advised that the cache was not where he had found it previously. It was returned to its correct location, which may have been a little harder to find.
It had to happen, even on such a hot day. We had to loiter non-suspiciously for a few minutes until a muggle family left the nearby benches. Then it was time for another speedy find from llama_boy. Despite being relatively secure this has had a little cache creep since my last visit, so we re-hid it in the appropriate spot. Time for a food break, then possibly another cache.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Grabbing some AL finds nearby so sneaked over for this one. I have found a few on this walk before and think this has been added since. Tried to make it harder than it really was so signed the log and off to get the Equinox souvenir in a few hours during a busy Christmas season. Many thanks Dragons2010
Thoroughly enjoying the walk around Camden Farm on this Friday evening. Thankfully nowhere near as many flood events this year. TFTC
Had enought time this morning as a quick drive past, havent walked these paths for well over a year and havent chashed caches for a good few months, have too see what tomorrow brings too walk the rest of the walk, at least I know the garman 65 is working. (This cache is being watched from ground level) TFTH.
Enjoying the last day of the holidays with the kids. Found this one quite easily whilst watching the gliders. Great to have some more finds locally. Once upon a time we had found them all. TFTC
It's been a few years since frazeydaze and I cached in Camden, so today we returned for a couple of Adventure Labs and other sundry caches. Got lucky here and spotted the container almost straight away once at gz. TFTC Dragons2010
Nice easy hide.
Out this way for the 6 monthly Dentist visit.
A nice cool sunny morning.

Found with Macka4867. We picked the likely location from a distance. Our 1st thought of hide was not to be after searching from both sides of the fence and getting spiked from the tree for our troubles. Eventually Macka. managed to catch a glimpse of it from a different angle in the other likely place there. TFTC
Out with Gundrills for a walk to search for this one, after a bit of head scratching we managed to find the tell tale sign of a cache hide. TFTC
I missed this one a couple of days ago, but had to go to work. With a much later start this time, and also ready to find a nearby AL waypoint I had another go at this.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Well, what a wonderfully lovely (yes it needed 2 superlatives) day... brought about by the generosity of two of the most generous geocachers I know... Dan & Sue from SueDan83... your kindness has given me some fantastic geocaching memories and I thank you.
Dan and I had spent the day visiting "The Red Hands Cave". Now it was time for Sue to be my guide and to take me for an enjoyable walk around the Llewlla Davies Walk... Dan was there but he was on a VERY important geocaching planning phone call.
We took the hint TOO literally at first but once we broadened out our search in the same area and said the words out loud "We may have to give up on this one"... there it was!!! Thanks
Amazing sunset to finish off a fantastic day... gotta love geocaching

After a 10km walk at Glenbrook with HappyUke where we completed at least 20km of conversation, we somehow had enough energy to complete this walking track late this afternoon. And what a pleasant walk with the sun setting it still remained pleasantly warm and after completing the last cache in this series, the orange sky above the horizon was a treat to see. Only about an hour to complete this walk, but we still managed to fit in over 2 hours worth of conversation. TFTC Dragons2010
Took us about 10 minutes to finally see this sneaky cache.

I'd been hoping to save this cache for a day when I could enjoy the walk and do the series, but tonight I needed a find and this one was easy to park near!
It took a few minutes of searching. I read the previous logs and saw a few comments about taking the hint too literally, but eventually I was running out of other ideas and decided to try for the far side of the tree. I made a start, and then realised the cache was right in front of me!
Signed and returned, all in good condition. TFTC!

Not being able to go for my regular weekend runs due to an annoying tail end of a URTI, I headed out this way to pick up a few new caches that have appeared over the last month or so.
This was my first target for the morning. Having parked down at the back of Onslow to enable an easy return to the GeoSuzi, I began my walk up to the track entry, passing by the units that were just beginning construction last time I was in this area.
Turned onto the track and began my morning fun. I had collected caches from this trail before the floods, and was glad to see the area has once again been opened to the public after some repatriation works.
Having previously read the hint, I beelined it over to the GZ. After spending some time searching, I was somewhat perplexed and was beginning to wonder, then suddenly .
As usual this too logical thinker had taken something too literally……typical.
Performed the duties and headed out to the next target.

Found with WaywardWoman while doing nearby AL. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

Out in the area picking up some extra hides.

Streak Day #3643 - Back out this way again today with Dave8153 and stopped by for a quick find on our cache of the day. TFTC
Today we headed out to Camden (via Roseville Bridge, Warringah Freeway, Harbour Tunnel, Eastern Distributer, M5 Motorway, and Hume Highway) to attend The Booos "Maker Magic: Cache Creations in Camden" Event, stopping off along the way for a few caches, and then collecting a couple more caches after the Event. This was the 4th of 7 finds, plus 2 DNFs, for the day.
Our last cache stop before the Event was at this one, parking the geomobile on Macquarie Grove Road, then heading around to GZ for a look. Spotted a suspicious character also heading towards GZ, who turned out to be Rainbow Spirit, nice to meet you.
A short spikey search at GZ soon uncovered the hide and we had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. And just as we did along came Brewmaker and Curliebunny666 to join the party, which was now looking like a mini event . Now it's off down the road to the real Event. TFTC Dragons2010.

Well I didn't find it, another cacher found it for me. Thanks for the hides
Walked around after attending todays event, relatively quiet and peaceful at GZ
Like catchers before, we took the hint a little too literally, but even after changing search area, it still took us a couple minutes to spot in the afternoon sun. Found just as we were about to give up. Hard to spot, but obvious once you see something not quite natural. TFTC
