Found by caughtatwork on 10/11/2024 at 6:42:00 AMA quick find on a solo caching morning.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1

Ole biscuit barrelpTang. pTang!Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Tew's day the fifteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. A quick find here today on our way past, cache is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Quick find - log is full. Squeezed my entry in on edge and added a torn strip of paper. TFTC
Well of course there was a muggle parked in his car right out the front of GZ. The song I was thinking of when I saw the title of this was, The bus stop (are you ready) by Fatback band. There's even a dance to it but I'm not going to do it whilst I'm here. Stealth was required and I grabbed the cache and signed the log out of view before replacing it and casually walking away - like a ninja. TFTC Sharkiefan.
Donutholes was itching for an adventure, so we embarked on a thrilling geocaching escapade in the Werribee and Altona area. Defying the biting wind chill, we cached through the night, our spirits undeterred until the wee hours of the morning.Cache:This was the first find of the evening.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the traditional cache Sharkiefan #8,130
AusFox and I hit the streets to find a few smiley faces and this little stretch of road was on the cards.Cache was found, signed and replaced quicker than Donutholes entering a fried chicken buffet. Thanks for the cache
caches like this one just really make us wonder how many we walked past before we knew about caching TFTC
This one took a while to fork out given the season where there were so many dead leaves piling up inside the fork. Thankfully its Saturday today as there was no one around apart from those in passing cars who would think Im just fiddling with leaves to pass time whilst waiting for a bus. I reckon weekends are the best time to look for this one with all the adjacent medical services closed, so minimal stealth mode needed. TFTC
Autumnal Victorian Roadtrip.Day Five: Melbourne to Great WesternWeather: still perfect! Another cache within walking distance of where I have parked, but has really caught my attention is all the Adventure Lab waypoints. Next time Im in Melbourne without a car, Ill be training it to Werribee - I dont have time for them all today. An easy find here, and the cache is in good shape. Thanks again Sharkiefan.
Found on a lovely Sunday afternoon.Spotted quickly - just had to wait for a break in traffic to grab & sign, then another break to replace.TFTC
This needed a bit of stealth as we could tell where the cache was hidden but didn't want to draw attention to ourselves. Fortunately no buses turned up so we didn't have to explain why we were there! TFTC.
Picked this one up as one of the caches we collected on a short diversion through Werribee. We headed off down the Great Ocean Road for a few days for a belated wedding anniversary celebration. The weather was kind and the scenery along the road spectacular. We based ourselves in Lorne and then tripped around checking out the local places. While we had visited the area some time ago it was great to spend more time exploring the area, and of course the caching.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache sharkiefan.**SKI Pair****
Found with gwd.aussie. Detoured on way to Geelong to grab a few caches in the area.TFTC
D@geo spotted the cache first.Out caching with D@geoThank you the cache sharkiefan
There was no need for an umbrella nor the cover of the tree. The enthusiasm of the grandies was great and I felt they might have gone the other way. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
A day out with Geoturtle37 and a couple of her grandies. Now I have that silly song stuck in my head! Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, sharkiefan ~~
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks sharkiefan for the cache.

So I had to google this song mentioned in the narrative (Bus stop)....ahh yes I know that song well.. but my favourite bus stop song is "Do the bus stop by Fatback band....Yes the dance ?? moves go with it. There was no dancing at this cache...I certainly didn't want to draw any attention to myself.
I had been to an Event held in the park adjacent to the Kelly Centre... and when it ended, I set off for my day's caching... starting with the three caches in the immediate vicinity. I then started to spread my wings and ended up here at this cache. The day was starting to warm up so the shade of the (tree) umbrella was a pleasant respite while recovering the cache and signing the log. Thanks **sharkiefan** for putting this cache here.
Both Riddells can well remember and really enjoyed this song. It was one of Mrs Riddells favourites and she certainly didnt need the lyrics to recall the words!A quick and easy drive by but needed the assistance of a natures helper to extract the cache.TFTC
Three members of iTEEM are in the area, as we are working at Avalon Airport for the bushfire season. T and E went for a morning walk before work to find this cache. No muggles about to hamper our search, and the well tucked away container was soon in hand. Container and log are in good condition. TFTC sharkiefan
Well its sharkiefan week here in the BFMC household Im working on qualifying for old challenge caches I signed years ago placed by. Sharkiefan. To do so I found some handbags yeaterday placed by sharkiefan. And im here tonight cleaning out a few caches placed by. Sharkiefan!A nice quick blockie, all caches found easily and in good order. Looking forward to doing some short walks to stretch the legs and grab some smilies along the way. This was a quick find this morning, just had to work out how to flick it out to get our hands on it.**Thanks for placing this cache sharkiefan**---If you are looking for some new caches to find, explore the nominees for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. The Nominations Geocaching List is available [here](https://coord.info/BMC8QYR)!Voting is now closed for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards and the awards event will be posted soon
Find # 8,453 for me on 20 Nov 2023 at 2:30 pm. Caching around the You Yangs - Werribee area with BernieH. Found without too much trouble. Thanks sharkiefan, for giving back to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
14:56After exploring some of the intriguing ins & outs of "Pacific Werribee" - which oddly enough is in Hoppers Crossing, we set about converting a few of the sad green icons on our map to the happy yellow type. A nice quick find of the cache and also somelong lost memories of another age. Thanks to sharkiefan for hiding caches in interesting locations. 36051
I found this cache today on my Mega Geocaching Walk #9 - A 28,000 step walk around Werribee. My hands did not fit in there whatsoever so it took a bit of manoeuvring with other items to get the cache to a point of retrieval. My last physical cache find for the day. Thanks from D B-A
Well the hint seemed fairly precise but I couldnt see the cache anywhere. I grabbed a tool and poked and prodded and scraped and just as I was about to give up, I heard the cache. Logging now, I was surprised to see it had been found a week ago. Thanks.
Walked back towards this one and soon found what I wanted here. I do remember that song and now I am still singing it.Thanks sharkiefan
I spotted the cache quickly enough but struggled getting it out of its hiding spot. Eventually after manufacturing a pointy tool from the surrounds I managed to coax the container out. Thanks for the cache.
Out caching on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Found it!
My thanks to sharkiefan for the cache.

Today I headed out to find a few TDOC23 caches, I was intending on starting in Werribee and working my way back to Williamstown, but I ended up staying in Werribee as there were a fair few caches to find around the area that I had not found.
I parked the car and headed off on a stroll around the area, stopping by the caches that I had not found, this being one of them, the cache was found and the log was signed.
**Thanks to sharkiefan for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

12 August 2023 3:38 pm... typical you decide to go out for a walk and get a few caches and not only does it start passing down with rain ou find interesting spiders on the tree, that as a kiwi you don't know are dangerous or not. TFTC sharkiefan # 4034
After chasing some cachemas caches in Altona, we made our way to Werribee to continue our caching adventures (and indulge in delicious ice cream).
Spiffy- did a great job of navigating the one way streets and his geokid raced me to find the caches. After finding this cache, we did not do the bus stop dance but we had our own dance of sorts and a semi cartwheel.
thanks sharkiefan for the hide.

Today my smallest geokid, myself and Kristysadventures headed out to find a few Cachemas caches and to go for a scooter ride as well to keep the geokid interested in staying out for a few hours. After a couple of hours in Altona we then headed to Werribee.
A nice quick find here and every time I see a bus stop I am now glad that I no longer need to use it and can drive on by. Spent way too much time on buses getting to and from high school so I have done enough bus travel.
Thanks sharkiefan for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I had to work today then at lunch time one of the jobs was canned so a decision was made to head West to see what I could find.
So while attending the Cachemas lunch the other week i was sitting next to a CO who told me I had to do their new caches at Werribee and I also ran into a couple of other CO’s a while ago who said I should do theirs as well.
So here I am heading to Laverton then making my way to Werribee on a chilly but fine Melbourne afternoon.
After visiting a few parks and a creek it was time to hit Werribee .
After finding the 3 challenge caches I still had a bit of time up my sleeve so I decided on a few trads before heading home.
It was not raining today so didn’t have a use for the tree and also no one was waiting for the bus so I had a bit of time to extract the cache from its hiding spot.
Thanks sharkiefan TFTC

I half expected that Graham Nash and Co would be waiting for me and if so I would have joined them with a 3 part harmony.
Probably better that it was just me today. Quick find with challenges up the road to follow.

How appropriate to find this cache in August! Ha ha. Out with ConnieandRick, laughing, caching and having a fantabulous time! Thanks sharkiefan for placing this cache, always enjoy your caches . Happy trails, Deanside
Out with Deanside on a day that was meant to be quite rainy, but turned into a lovely day instead. This one was a quick find, as we moved around the area aiming for caches that neither of us had so far found. Thanks for the cache.
The last trad find before heading to the 3 challenge caches. Park the car right up at gz allowing for some privacy while reaching for the cache.
Thanks sharkiefan for the placement.
Thanks sharkiefan for the placement.
Following the highway a bit further along and grabbed a few more caches after the challenges.
A quick find here, and I nearly escaped before a bus headed in my direction!
Thanks, Robmc.

Spied this one quick but fat fingers took a bit to get it from its hide.

This is one of my favourite songs.
And I was humming it from the time I logged the new challenge cache down the road until I picked this up... and on and off for the rest of the afternoon until, well, probably until chatting with you at the pub.
Thanks, sharkiefan. For the cache and the earworm (if that's what it's called when you love having it stuck in your head)

I had come to the west side today in order to celebrate and find the first cachemas cache, [ThePacman's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=613f235b-0d1d-4bd3-ba3e-1dbcc5779bb8&wid=b71c409a-98af-474f-9072-32432cfba971&ds=2) [TDOC23: "Nature Walk" Wherigo (GCA20BA)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA20BA_tdoc23-nature-walk-wherigo).
After completing that Wherigo I remembered that the [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=34aa4c48-9615-4751-ae99-44e63866e71c&wid=183df73d-9626-4af1-8d54-7d078e9b9079&ds=2) had somewhat recently published [The Wyndham Shire Challenge (GCA9GZB)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA9GZB).
Now challenge caches are definitely my favourite type of cache, and with this new one being published and with me not being qualified for it. I figured I would spend the rest of my time in the west trying to find caches in the [Wyndham Shire LGA](https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/) in order to work on qualifying for it.
So when I saw a nice grouping of caches in the area here I figured I would stop and try to find a few. I ended up stopping and finding the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=34aa4c48-9615-4751-ae99-44e63866e71c&wid=183df73d-9626-4af1-8d54-7d078e9b9079&ds=2) [The least used carpark in Werribee (GC9V2KY)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9V2KY_the-least-used-carpark-in-werribee) first and then [My neighborhood, my cache. (GC9V2N1)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9V2N1_my-neighborhood-my-cache) next before continuing my walk over to this.
Luckily the weather on this winter evening was perfect, not to cold and nice and sunny. Which meant I didn't have to take advantage of the tree umbrella.
Also lucky for me there were no muggles waiting for the bus when I arrived. So I was able to make a nice uninterrupted search. The cache was then quick located and the logbook signed.
I ended up finding [Brad's Dodge Charger Trackable (TB566D9)](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=86746c93-3e0f-418c-a306-0388b1e4c6a1) in a previous cache, but due to this cache being a micro, I will just dipped it in this one and keep it moving.
A big thanks goes to [sharkiefan](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=34aa4c48-9615-4751-ae99-44e63866e71c&wid=183df73d-9626-4af1-8d54-7d078e9b9079&ds=2) for the fun tonight. TFTC.

I don't have a car so I am a big fan of buses and have spent plenty of time admiring the views from various bus shelters, which really don't provide much shelter. This was a quick and easy find near one of my well-used bus stops.
Found by The Empire
Arriving at the bus stop, I took a moment to observe the comings and goings of people, the buses roaring by, and the rhythmic sounds of the city. With my trusty GPS device in hand, I began my search for the hidden cache, eager to discover the hidden gem within this urban oasis. A quick find here at the bus top! Thanks for the cache sharkiefan.

Yesterday morning, after finishing a short shopping trip to Werribee I had a quick look at my app to see if there was any low hanging fruit on my way home, but no such luck. Then, last night, well and truly after I’d got home the notification for this cache turned up in my email. Unlike themd, I couldn’t go out for a little excursion, so here I am today picking up a second to find .
A nice spot for a hide, with some convenient parking. The cache is in good condition.

I'd just arrived home from a freezing night watching LAX in Footscray.
Wait what a new cache!
It's that close by too!
Be rude not to go check it out for a blank log.
So at 8:22pm I was signing my name.
A blank log too.
Then I was home again all within about 15min.
Well that was fun.
