Took a while of looking, trying to be as discreet as possible with the markets on tftc
We are on holidays from Victoria and staying with Mr Harrowangs muggle sister in the Maitland area. We found ourselves in Newcastle tonight and this cache was nearby. We havent been here for about 6 years. The perfect time to search, as the area was deserted. SL at 7.42pm A wheely good hide. #11,398 TFTC nikkib42
Im sorry for this cache being out of action for so long. Cache is back and I will be checking on it regularly
Hi nikkib42,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Nice and easy for a Sunday walk through town. The log itself however is unfortunately missing. Tftc
I found the spot but it is broken/no log book We will come back to sign when fixed Team Peking duck
Spent about 20 min here looking for it and even after a PAF we found nothing but a magnet a similar dolour to the cache container. Cool train though
Great hint. Log book full but found a small space inside to sign - borrowed a pencil from the friendly folk at Betty Loves Books. Kids have always loved this location
Reperio 07:26Day 3 of our Newcastle geocaching escapade, and Master Vitruvius and I were up early to tackle some of the inner city caches before the rest of Newy started to arrive. I had been by this spot a couple of times previously in an attempt to find this one, but each time there were just too many muggles around. Today the area was a ghost, and little MV soon spotted the cache.Gratias nikkib42As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

On the way to Newcastle for Australian Deaf Games. Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache nikkib42.
A quick find here with Eemiaj before heading off to see The Cosmic Psychos in the old Castle nightclub. TFTC
Book needs to be updated as theres not much room left and the magnet has fallen off. TFTC!
A fun spot for a cache. Came over here on a short stroll and was happy to find the cache thanks to spot on coordinates quickly. Noticed a familiar face in the nearby shop and said hallo before moving on.Thank you nikkib42, handawg420 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
The place was bare which made it easy but the container is not attached to the magnet. So I had to put it elsewhere otherwise it would end up on the ground. Needs to be reattached. Thanks for the cache.
i realised too late that there were many 9-5 muggles here on their lunch breaks at the tables. whoops.
Passing by so decided to duck in for a quick find in line with the hint. Surprised this cache wasn't around earlier. TFTC!
Visiting from Brisbane, TFTC found but no pen! Log has one page open for anyone keen.
Found after a short look. Was easy to find the area and after looking closely was able to find the small geocache. The station is a lovely and calm space near the water especially during the night with lights and seating.
Bought TB friend with for a second attempt at the cache and there were heaps more muggles around. There must be something on tonight as its mainly food trucks. But after sitting on a stool and looking at the train a certain way, the cache showed itself! I was surprised I could do it without being caught! Frown turn upside down into a smilie face Also I think the trackable that was dropped in the cache a few months back was taken but never logged. TFTC!
Went on a Monday in the middle of the day. Not many muggles at all. Felt a little self-conscious when the one of the shop staff kept looking out so I checked out her shops items and found a perfect item for a gift exchange I am in so thanks for that CO! Walked around GZ so many times and looked at places that I thought matched the hint. I will come back another day for my smilie face. Had to go anyway because of my parking spot time running out.
Its nice to avenge a DNF. The container was not where i found it today, on my previous visit. The magent was, but not the container. Anyway, log is signed now. TFTC.
Out skating with ma girls so took the opportunity to find this. Couldn't find the first time so glad to pick it up today. TFTC!
Walked here in the middle of the day and the place was surprisingly empty of muggles so I started to crawl around.Found eventually thanks to the hint.Sat nearby for the sign then awkwardly replaced before skedaddling my little legs outta there.Thank you for the cache!
Cool spot! Thankfully a bit quieter here on Sunday afternoon. Greetings from Perth. Tftc
Thanks Nikkib42 and handawg420 for the cache. Often stop off here in NC on our way to Canberra. Nice to see a new cache. Love that it's not up a tree!! FP from me.
Not available at the moment. Area closed off for an event. Will be back at a later date.
Great to see an active heritage precinct. Great pottering around Newcastle. TFTC!
Quick find made by one of the geokids. On a sunny Sunday morning. Kinda busy with muggles so the kids looking made it a little less suspect. Lol
Taking a walk before our group meeting for dinner, managed to squeeze in a search for a smiley. Thanks for the cache!
A quick trip to Sydney to meet up with RoamingHowie who was en route to QOGM. Day Two: Main target: Frying Pan. Lots of other caches & AdLabs along the way. As we arrived, we thought this was going to be another one of those painful nanos on a steam engine, But this was not the case here, as I quickly spotted the cache in its hidey spot. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, nikkib42 ??~????????~
Day 7. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.OZHockeyChick had flown in for 3 days of caching around Sydney and Newcastle and today was all about finally getting Frying Pan, and collecting some other targets. Our hearts sank as we arrived at this cache a nano on a cannon. Fortunately this one is not as difficult. Thanks nikkib42 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------The 12 Days of Cachemas series is now live.
