One of three traditional caches found in the Woodcroft area today.I had to wait for an adult to vacate the nearby swings. She wasnt giving in easily and I had to wait quite a while. Id already spotted the cache so it was just a matter of waiting for her to move on. Children came and went in the meantime. I finally outlasted her and signed the log. Thanks for this cache campbellkids981.

A quick PaG while heading around the suburb. I found your D1.0/T1.5 Micro Traditional called Esther Potter Reserve on 18 November 2023. It was find #18615 for me. Thank you campbellkids981 for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of South Australia.

With some more decent weather today, I decided to head back down south to find more of the caches recently put out in and around the Woodcroft area. This was one of many caches I was potentially targeting for this afternoon and after finding a few caches nearby, I made the short drive to ground zero in search of another find. It did not take me long to find the cache once at GZ and I soon had the cache in hand. The log was signed, the cache replaced, and I was on my way. Today was another enjoyable afternoon of caching with some interesting and unique cache containers being found in the process. All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.Find #8038, at 03:29 pmTFTC Smile

Nicely maintained park, the locals are a bit spoilt with all these spots to get outside and enjoy the weather. We parked nearby and wandered over to the structure and made a quick grab, signed the log and popped it all back as found. Always interesting to read about the local history and figure out where some of the parks and roads get their names, we have a few parks with name plaques on but when we've googled the names we cant seem to find out the background for the naming, bit disappointing.Another nice cache, thanks campbellkids981 for placing and maintaining theses.

Not a single person in the park today, I guess the rain keeps people away. Cache found in the obvious place, stamped and returned as found

Today Courtneyrose_ and I headed south to attend 2 events and go to Mclarenvale for lunch, we decided to do a few new caches along the way dodging the thickness of the rain as we detoured our way through the streets

Thanks for the cache

Out and about with sir_spectre grabbing another for our 28 day streak.
Thanks

13-Jul-23
found with mogni. The quest for the 28 day streak continues. I am glad i am on annual leave this week or else i might not have bothered with the 28 day streak and just gone for the 7 days. I didn't enjoy finding caches after a 12 - 13 hour shift ( especially in winter in the rain or hail ) when i was on my 656 day streak. quick find.

Headed out the house with the youngest today to explore some local areas and do some caching. We had a bit of a stop start adventure, with our intended destination pretty wet under foot. We ended up passing by this reserve and was glad to find there was a cache here. A quick find. TFTC campbellkids981

A most excellent caching day out with an owl and a dragon.

I'm enjoying your hints, a great effort!

Thanks campbellkids.

08-Jul-23
Doctor Owl and sushilord were up for a day of caching and it was decided that they would come down south and pick me up from my house. There were quite a few new caches around my area so we concentrated on those before heading more south after a nice lunch at Pt Noarlunga. We managed to dodge the rain and only got slightly wet at the first couple of caches. A fun day was had and I cleaned up my area again. [^]

All the caches around Woodcroft were easily found and didn't require too much walking which suited my bad back. Big Grin

Thanks for the cache campbellkids981. Smile

Sometimes it helps to have someone tall in tow. Then the Dragon and the Owl bolted to the owlmobile while the Fish put the cache back.

The 6 new caches by the Campbellkids981 were my target today after work, so I put the geopuppies in the car and drove to Investigator drive to walk/run them all - a pleasant 5km loop on foot just before sunset
This one was quite exposed - I fear for its safety Surprised I hope it lasts....!
Thanks Campbellkids981!

After picking up the Rat from her nest, headed south to meet the Starfish at a cache we all wanted. Then it was off on a Weird Wednesday Wander, weird because once again plan A was thrown out the window to go for a FTF, which is becoming less unusual, but the FTF was for a cache that had been out for almost 2 days, and considering where it was, I found that really weird. The surrounding area proved to be quite productive for all three of us so in the end it seemed like quite a good change of plan. And for the icing on the cake, the Rat and I scored another FTF on the way home. All up I got home with another 18 smilies for one letterbox, three multis, four trads and ten puzzles.
Another relatively new cache so it was one we all wanted, but this time I beat the Starfish to the find.
Thanks to campbellkids981 for putting out this cache.
Cache #13570 for me.

Our usual Tuesday Trekking once again turned into a Wednesday Wander. [^] Plan A was to meet at a cache at Glenelg and wander around there collecting smileys. [^] Plan A lasted for one cache - the cache we met at. Surprised So now altogether was myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and FTF hound Ttrogg didn't cache around that area we headed south 20 kilometres or so in search of a FTF! [^] So Plan B of caching southwards took over. Big Grin Still a smiley is a smiley. Here is what I found today. Cool

Once again I went to one and end and Ttrogg the other end of GZ. Wink This time I chose incorrectly and trog spied the cache. Smile All our names were stamped as usual. Big Grin

Tuesday Trekking changed to Wednesday Wandering.
The Trio consisted of the Rat, ttrogg and the Starfish.
Plan A was Ttrogg to pick up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
We the continued on to meet up with the Starfish at the designated cache.
Then as we strolled back to the cars, We went to Plan B.
A quick find for the trio today.
We stamped the logbook and replaced. TFTC

**FTF at 10:08AM**

I got notified of a bunch of new caches down in the southern suburbs and decided I would try for just one to continue the daily streak. However, I haven't chased many FTFs in a while so I decided I would go for all of them despite the heavy rain and forecasted thunderstorms.

Most know this pineapple doesn't get cold so easily so it was no worry to get them all.

I ended up with 5 FTFs for the day in the suburbs of Aberfoyle Park, Morphett Vale, Happy Valley, Blackwood and Belair. I ended up with wet hair and fully soaked clothes but was worth it.

I drove here from the previous cache to see if I could get FTF here too. I got to GZ and a quick find was made with an empty log book.

Thanks campbellkids981 for this cache and FTF, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3207 on the 22nd of June 2023.

CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!

Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
