Sorry to all those that are affected by archiving the cache but the local council has requested that it be removed. We think that we placed it in the logical place and we chose this place because it was reachable while on the boardwalk although some people did walk to the small area nearby we have never noted any damage. We did monitor the cache and we felt that there was no adverse effects on the nearby Flora.
Unfortunatly we can be as resposible as we like but the decision isnt alway ours. The council has made the decision and we will do as requested. We would love to be able to modify the cache in a manner that would encourage people to visit the boardwalk and also meet the council standards that they would like. If they (the council) feel they would like to engage in some sort of Dialog with us we would encourage it to do so as together we can find a solution to an issue that wont be isolated. We in the geocaching community are always open to ideas that improve our relationship with the authorities. Feel free to email us anytime.

Went with my dog to find this one. In the car on my way to the cache I could only get 2 satellite signals. At the South Perth foreshore I had none.Going by the clues in the write up the dog and I looked at a few obvious spots before concentrating my efforts at one site. I had no trouble when the area was clear of children of locating it.
Took Travel Bug which I discovered was the one I got from Prickly Bark last year. I will be taking it to Queensland next week. Left the toy rabbit.
On my return to the car still no signal. Located cache at 4.41pm

A nice afternoon for a walk and we get to enjoy another great spot we hadn't visited before. Really enjoyed the boardwalk. Very peaceful in here. Took nothing but left the RaffiBug I TB which we picked up from 'River View' cache.
Thanks for the hunt Lyn Pat and Nathan.

This was our first cache on our 3rd time geocaching. Really nice spot. South perth is so beautiful. Took small plastic frog, left movie voucher. filled in the log book. Can't believe this cache has been here for years. Sat on the grass with my cousins (Team Nye). Filled in the log book. Took some photos of local wild life. A few muggles on our way, but total tranquility when we found the cache. Thanks for the search.
Great hiding spot. Found faily easily after avoiding muggles. Took cache to the shade of a tree to fill log in before safely returning. Lovely spot for a picnic!

We Two of WeThree were there with Ironmonk3y - great spot - used to have a flat overlooking this spot when rent was only $35 per week!
Neet hiding spot missed it first time then had another look and FOUND IT!!! Good area for lunch.
Mr killerbunnies grew up around here, but had never visited this little oasis before. Nice place, but no time to sit down for a BBQ today, we're leaving to go back to Melbourne tomorrow.
Took TB, left carrot #87.

My second trip to beautiful Perth. I'm attending a sales meeting here. My colleagues and I have formed a Geocaching team to see if we can get a TB around the world between now and Christmas!
Nice easy find whilst in Perth for some business. GPS took a little while to settle down and in the end found no prob's.

TB Manhunt Down Under and I parted our ways whilst attending a Perth Chatters BBQ on the South Perth foreshore.
I have walked thru and past this area many times. It's a great spot to stop for a while and listen to the birds.
Found OK. The park was quiet and it was a pleasant walk in the evening. It still amazes us at the places we don't know about in Perth.

Great cache guys in a wonderful area. The views across the water in the late afternoon make me want move to this part of the world. How much is the local real estate?
We visited this cache on our short visit to Perth en-route to a wedding in Singapore.
We were accompanied by our Great Ausie Mates, Geomuggles & Perth residents Flick & Stevo.
Great cache !!! but weather not quite good enough for a barbi !

Good spot but you have to watch out for muggles. I saw this had the father of the year bug in it. So good excuse to hop on the bike and pick up a couple of caches. I had planned to go to 8 caches but ran out of time and got 4 today.

We got to this cache the long way (via the cafe up the road - you can't beat a cafe with a playground inside it when you have a 4 year old.) We had a great time with a play around the water in the beautiful sunshine. Took Koala (we seem to always take what 'ewoks' have put in.) Left hi-lite pens. Thanks.

We would have never thought the water level could get near the cache. Maybe its going to be a bumper winter for us here in the west. We will keep a close eye on the cache logs.
Will definately have to bring the kids back to this spot! Thought it would also be a fabulous spot to drop off a travel bug we picked up earlier...... so leaving TB Water Game, unfortunately we didnt realise that someone else had also thought it would be a great spot to leave him earlier ( oops.... if anyone can help him on his journey and show him somewhere new that would be great! This was also our 50th find!
I didn't have time for a BBQ but enjoyed the walk and the hunt Thank you No Spiders 12.15

Nice walk on a beautiful day, visiting from Minnesota today - enjoyed lunch at the jetty, then took some pictures of the skyline on the way to the cache. Found the cache straight away, although I first thought I'd have to swim to get it! Took nothing, signed logbook #2, dropped in two TB's, and put the cache back safely for the next finders. Thanks for the cache, and for making it easy for us out-of-towners to find the correct area...after wandering Sydney in a daze, we sure appreciate it...TFTC!

We went out on a perfect Perth day (25c) to have breakfast and put a new log book into the cache. Start using it when the old one is completely full.
We removed a couple of damaged items. All other things seem fine. The cache is well hidden under the leaf matter.
We sat down for about 20 minutes reading the great log book entries from teams based in all parts of the world. Its Well worth the visit just to read them.

Called by on a travel bug raid. Picked up NC Cashbarn. Noted that Elizabeth's Dollar and a Dream Travel Bug has been taken but not yet logged. Easting Travel Bug is still in the cache. Cache is in good condition but the logbook is getting full. Was traveling light today so couldn't help with a replacement. Sorry about that.
Its hard to keep the water out of caches in winter ....if it needs bagging we will head out and check on it. We will wait to see what the next couple of cache logs say.
Stopped by to drop off Easting TB. Also picked up Elizabeth's Dollar TB but was waiting for ironcouple to log it in before we logged it out.

Also left a Binito yoyo, and a small smurf. Took the NZ ziplock containing sticker and key chain.

YeeHaa – my 500th find!!! And what a lovely cache for my 500th at that! I hired a bike from across the river, and had a lovely day riding around Perth! I only had one minor problem with this one… Whilst I was waiting for all the muggles to disappear, I was bitten by a giant mozzie! Oh well, a little momento! Took a Penny, left a New Guinea coin. Thanks for the great cache Lyn Pat and Nathan!

Over on holidays from the east. Found with ease at night with geo-000. Left TB took small dog figure. Cache is getting quite full.
A cache getting "FULL". We dont think we have ever seen that written before. We are sure that some teams will come through and empty it in the future. We hope you enjoyed your stay in Perth

Old Caver, friend Ed, and I found this on our second try (lesson learned: read the whole desciption before trying for the cache.) We used Trekker's coordinates, and they were right on. The three of us are from the US (two from Minnesota, and one from Maine) and this was our first international cache! Left a pen from our company (Internation Species Informational System) and some American coins. Took the cute little "I love Australia" kangaroo toy. Lynn, another US friend, donated the pen. TFTC - this was good fun!

Found an Aussie one, wow. ToysRGood and I on a "work" trip for Minnesota to Perth. No time to hunt for more as it is home bound tomorrow.
Thanks guys....We are honored by your visit and kind words. We placed this cache as its close to the city but introduces you to a slightly different view point to the usual kings Park scape that is seen on almost every postcard. We hope you managed to get to the nearby Perth Zoo (500metres or so away) but if not then we are sure you still got to have a feel of the Real perth. Thanks for the input.
Free parking does exist down here - just have to be lucky! You wouldn't expect an area like this existed here, quite a pleasant stroll. A couple of area beautifyers very close by (10m) who didn't see the find or the re-hide - engrossed in the job of weed-pulling I guess
The freeway was busy so took a detour on the way home from work with Dekra. Found in the obvious place at 18:00.

Found at 10:46. It was an excellent day for a walk in the park. We found the cache very easy, although the GPS pointed us some 10 meters away. Took nothing, left nothing.
Decided to stop off here for a bbq lunch before tracking down a few caches. Have been here several times but didn't realise that a cache was located so near to here (but should have guessed as it's a popular area!). Bit tricky down to the amount of people (muggles!!) around and took us three attempts finally finding it as it was getting dark (and gaining a few mozzy bites for good measure [:(!][:(!])

Amazing how different things look in the light of day. Found easily this time and a couple of 'muggles' thankfully have found and signed the log and even traded some items. The rain started to drizzle so we signed the log and headed for the car. BTW the last 6 parking spots at the end closest the cache are free parking for three hours only, the rest you need a ticket for.

When we found the cache we read the previous log in the book to find that the guys installing the lights on the boardwalk had found the cache accidentally.(Hint Hint ) They read the geocaching info sheet, cheers to them as they wrote in the book, did a swap and then replaced the cache. We walked passed some guys when we entered the boardwalk, hiding our GPS’s and looking interested in why there is a boardwalk here. Took us about 5 mins to find the cache and as Lambchops was writing in the logbook when 4 guys appeared….whoops we said and then chatted for the next 10 minutes about geocaching and the sights we get to see. Great guys to chat with and thanks also to them for alerting us to the Owl above that could have covered the screens of our GPS’s. Took Barbie Puzzle and Left Skippy and Lamb
You could make this a good night time cache now there are light installed.
Thanks Lyn Pat and Nathan

Once again I was glad of my trusty walking stick: it is useful for getting down caches that are high up, or low down, or under things, or in any spot that might be home to creepy and slithery things. Thanks for a nice wee cache.

We set of thinking it would rain. We got blown along the path and found the site easily. It wasn't a hard site to find; but people didn't want to get their hands dirty. T; hotwheels car, a bird from the lion king and a chimp from the thornberries. L; Barbie jigsaw, a sticker, a banana in pyjama toy.
After tramping around for 3km or so at "This is Heresy", I set off on foot to find this cache. The views of the CBD from this side of the river are stunning. Perth: why would anybody ever leave the place? By the time I got to the cache it was well and truly dark. Fortunately, I had a torch, and the cache gave up without a fight.
All in all, about a six-kilometre walk. By the way: those people in South Perth really know how to live!

I was here before when I first got my GPS. I was at the exact location but didn't have any experience. In fact, I looked on the wrong side, if I'd looked on the other side I would have found it. So this was my first search but my 3rd find. I live close to here so I made it my experimental cache and eventually I nailed it. 3rd time lucky, eh? I've passed this place many times never knowing there was a hidden treasure, great, thanks for the pleasure.
