Found while out caching for the day with gridge98.Today we headed up to the Barossa and surrounds to find a few caches of interest. After a cold morning, it turned into a beautiful clear sunny day. Not too warm, but ideal for caching. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition.. Thanks Lava12 for the cache.
Always a nice place and each cache hidden here causes a closer look at a different aspect. Numbers soon crunched and the cache found shortly afterwards.
Doctor Owl needed to do some maintenance out north so a caching trip was organised. It was a lovely day for caching and a drive in the country. We ended up in Tanunda for lunch then Truro for afternoon tea before heading home. Maintenance completed and a couple of DNF's found so all in all a good fun day.I have visited this wall a couple of times previously and today we came for different info and a different cache. Info gathered and sums done, then off to GZ for a quick find. Thanks for the cache Lava12.
Found, a very cool mural with interesting information sections. The funny thing was I had just driven the passed the final GZ in my last cache drive, I started to think I was just going in circles finding caches....lol, It gave me a chance to check out the town a bit more. TFTC
Found during a trip to Williamstown to clear up a cluster of caches in the area, before stopping off for lunch at the Williamstown Hotel. Thanks fore the cache Lava12!
A long way from home this morning as I continued my never ending quest to clear out the Barossa.Numbers were gathered and then a quick find was made.TFTC
Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. We are staying at Nuri and doing a bit of sightseeing using geocaching as our guide. We have enjoyed cruising the country roads, finding a variety of caches. TFTC.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Nuriootpa to cache the surrounds. Finishing up last few of the Barossa series before caching in Lyndon and Williamstown. Did the numbers and headed to gz to make a quick find and a lunch break. Thanks Lava12
Out and about on a solo caching day adventure, collected the info before heading off to GZ for a easy findTFTC Lava12
Quick find after reading the necessary information from the wall. I must have got the maths correct.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. On a previous trip through Williamstown, sorted the required numbers then kept heading elsewhere. This is one busy town. Back today to leave my mark. In Mannum, there is a plaque in recognition of Jinny, top of the steps from Randell St, near the chemist, down to the river (Mary Ann) reserve. TFTC Lava12.
A nice mural here at the posted co ords then off to GZ where the cache was easily found. Today Courtneyrose_ and I headed to Williamstown and Mount Crawford for a day out to find some caches unfound in the area. Thanks for the cache
Numbers collected and massaged into a final.Off to final for a straight forward find, log stampedTFTC
Love the murals art along here.Plenty of history here. Thanks for bring me here and cache.
This is my physical cache for today, and a multi to boot. The event at Gawler went way over time, and I’ve diverted to Williamstown on the way home.
WP1 is very familiar to me; I’ve been here a number of times since taking up caching. One of the questions almost caught me out, but the checksum saved the day. A quick find at the calculated final, even in the dark.
Thanks for this multi Lava12.

Thanks for this multi Lava12.
Some quick calculations and recalculations soon had the required numbers in hand. Then not long after the cache was there also. TFTC
Back at the mural for another look.
Answers found. Check sum helped.
Cache found.

Sal and I headed to Williamstown so she could visit her sisters. [^] So I dropped her off and went to do the new multi caches in the area and have another go at a DNF.
Mmmm, been here before to admire this mural. Did some calculations and this time the checksums agreed. [^] Once again off to GZ for a quick find in the first place I looked.

After picking up the Rat from her nest we headed south to meet up with the Starfish for a Wednesday Wander. This time it wasn't weird at all as we managed to stick to Plan A and worked the area between Glenelg and the city. After leaving the Starfish at Glenelg we headed for Williamstown and managed to complete 2 new multis just before dark for another enjoyable and successful day.
I do have a bad habit of being able to misinterpret multi questions but with the two of us and checksums it wasn't a problem here so we were soon off to GZ for a quick find and stamp.
Thanks to Lava12 for putting out this cache.
Cache #13636 for me.
This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).

Tuesday Trekking changed to Wednesday Wandering.
The Trio consisted of the Rat, ttrogg and the Starfish.
The plan was for Ttrogg to pick up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
Then down to meet up with Brisal5.
After we finished caching around Glenelg.
We said goodbye to Beisal5 and headed to Williamstown.
Ttrogg and the Rat came and gathered the required info.
Then off to GZ for a quick find. Tftc

Wow! Came by torchlight with Di and Jack to do the multi experience... intense! saw final coords in the forest so went to get the other nearby multi info...
Then saw other multi had been found. Oh the drama, the pressure... [:o)]
Looked at coordinates again and saw a typo mine of course
Corrected this and dashed to the real GZ where quelle surprise - a blank log

A great piece of history by the pool with plenty of water flowing nearby after recent rains.
Much respect to Peramangk elders, past, present and future.
Many thanks for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance Lava12 .
Another fav for a great little multi.

Country, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching...
Careful caching as always with Purrfect Di, and Jack helping, wherever we go.
It's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away
--------
Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp )
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...
... until next time!

29.2.24 It's gone MEGA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... it'll be out of this world
