Such a good puzzle! We did enjoy this. Found on our walk through the area today. Thanks Muggle65. Domsky
After a very enjoyable, but exhausting , nine days of GCLogan events, I had 2 full days left before flying back to NZ. To maximise the value of these 2 days, a plan was hatched with GG1 and M65 to target some special caches on the Northside that would help me with possibly two further D/T loop completions. Their help was invaluable, with local knowledge ensuring the best route was taken to fit in as many high quality caches as possible today. Day two today and a little bit later start, but we still didn't stop till well after dark..... With my hosts well prepared for any tott we might need today, it was not too much trouble, even for an old amateur tree climber, to access this one and sign the log. TFTC
It was Gcovens time on the pole and like a skilled magician she made the cache appear out of thin air. Like a good magician there was plenty of misdirection and then when it came time to return the cache, she had also made the branch it was hanging on disappear. Then using all the power of illusion in her kit bag she made it magically appear right next to her feet.Ive paid for magic and peep shows that werent this good. There used to be a place/theme park on the Gold Coast called Magic Mountain. It was so long ago that I visited and the only thing I can remember is a magic show at some indoor room at the top of the mountain. Crystal meth wasnt a big thing back in the 1980s but the magician was on the equivalent of what they had at the time.Anyway, he was really dialing in the show. Just as he pulled about a kilometre of coloured scarf out of his ear, he did the same thing with his black magicians hat. After the scarf just kept coming the hat was turned upside down to show there was nothing in it. WOW, there wasnt! Then it was turned back and suddenly there was a bird in it. It wasnt a white dove but more of a malnourished pidgeon. The pidgeon was released and even it was dialing in the show. It flew about 4 metres and then looked like it died and hit the carpet. In fact it was more interested in eating some spilt popcorn and the magician tried to redirect us again by banging some gold rings together before they somehow defied laws of physics and joined.Amazing! The gold rings were checked by a random member in the crowd who was also dialing it in. The same patron spilt the popcorn and also checked the magicians hat. Later in the day I saw the same random person cleaning the toilet. That is magical! tftc
Another hike with the bazooka pole to collect this bunch. Rather steep in places so a few slides. The boys engaged in lots of pole envy and us girls got the chance to play as well! Cheers for some topNotch caches
A nice spot upon approach, it made me think of a grenade though with its shape and colour - fitting I guess for the location and its off putting signage. They definitely get some water through here and at one point I felt like we were walking through a dry river bed, the pebbles had that familiar feel to it. Eek its time for the climb!
This is as far north as we're going on this cache collection. With the rest of the walk being over relatively dry terrain, this part of the trip must have had a decent flow through it as the ground heaves under foot.At GZ spent a wittol time looking for a wittol cache perched on a wittol tree branch. This proved no problem for the bazooka even for relatively inexperienced hands. Thanks Muggle65 for the wittol cache and hide.
Im no womanthrope or wondermonger, but my waif of a friend, who make think Im a willing, and I enjoyed a wander despite a wrick or twoIt certainly wasnt wuthering today, and our efforts were wreakless despite a lack of both wurst or wurzelI think at times we could have used the wuffler, but unfortunately its in the shopAlthough I might be a witticaster I am loathe to be witwanton I swear on my woggleWiggle on Muggle65 Find #11659
A day off means a day trip to Brisbane to go caching with Peppa. A pile up on the Bruce hwy has changed our original plans and north Brisbane has become our new target area.A nice quick find and retrieve on our walk. Thanks for the cache Muggle65Find #6085
A lovely day out with Kolour today, accompanied by the geopup. We had quite a few caches on our radar, this one was spotted quite quickly. After getting the cache to the ground, the log was signed and the cache returned to it's home. Thanks Muggle65 for the cache.
Willis007 and I decided to spend the day caching in this area. It was a bit damp underfoot near gz but we found a good spot to retrieve the cache using a fishing pole. Log signed and replaced - nice and easy. Tftc
Continuing my wander in the area I found this cache in good condition. Thanks for placing. Cheers
A New Year brings resolutions and some new goals. My current goal is to get my hiking fitness in order for an upcoming 3 day hike over Australia's highest dozen mountains in early February. This morning, I decided that a few geocaches along some selected Camp Mountains fire trails would help the days step count and put some altitude into the legs.I had no problem solving this one . Apart from the wet boots walking through run off from last nights rain, I had no troubles making the find. Now, onwards and up that hill! Many thanks Muggle65Pete#7,566
M was feeling less than 100% so I left him at home while I came out to grab a few of the high D/T caches here. I decided to fish this one down since my legs are a little shaky after all the hills I've climbed today! Thanks for find #5215TNLN
Last cache in this area. I was a bit lost without attributes. Mugglemum spotted this one, she really is turning into a true geocacher. Stepped in mud. TFTC. Found with mugglemum10.
On a lovely spring morning in South east Queensland, headed out with a few goals in mind. I had a few more Wherigos to reach a new level in project GC and a few caches towards my third DT loop. My geowagon is out of service still so I had to take the van. Found a safe place to park and off I went.It wasnt long before I arrived at Ground zero and located the cache. After securing the prize I made my mark and returned the cache to its lace of rest. Its now time to head to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow cachers.CheersS
Slowly but surely filling my tenth DT grid, I made plans to hike this hill to target a nearby cache but had to attempt the rest while I was here. Im not one to climb a hill twice if I dont have to, after all. We started early this morning before the day got too warm, turning right at the top of the first hill before realising we needed to be on a different track. A short cross country traverse soon put us on the right track. We puffed and panted our way up and over the hills, finding everything we could before returning to the car via this last one. A much kinder walk in this great bit of bushland let us recover from our exertions, and it meant we had enough energy left to haul ourselves up into the tree to reach this cache.A great way to spend the morning. Thanks Muggle65
I had the forenoon free before heading to the Sunshine Coast Airport to pick up a friend, and heard grannysmith1947 wanted to do this trail, so I agreed to accompany her. With some miscommunication, we started at the top instead of the bottom entry at Wessling Close, which resulted in collecting the caches taking much, much longer than it should have.Thank you, Muggle65, enjoyed your easy puzzle, and we used the ToT approach here
TFTC smile 17129 out and about on a lovely day Signed and replaced with geo friend plenty of laughter and good storys plenty of walking thanks for the adventure Thank you Muggle65 for placing this cache for our enjoyment

A quick find here and the log was soon signed and returned. Thanks for the cache.
Down in SEQ for a few days to celebrate the life of a caching ambassador and a great friend Karicka. It’s more than likely he’d found this one.
Before today’s service and with assistance of greencordial I made a plan to attempt to find the 4 DT’s I need to complete loop 13.
I left the gear at the turn off and jogged down to this one. When I returned Selva Girls and Dora the Explorer were looking for the missing cacher. Nice to meet them.
Thanks Muggle65 for adding to my day.

Day 3 of MegaGOM boating and tree fishing expedition with **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Purplepeopleater** and an anonymous local.
After 2 days on the water, it was time to remain on terra firma. But we still caught some fish, and for some, it was a big slog up a steep hill. Towards the end of the day, it was a mad dash mopping up around the airport and still managing to get through security on time.
Enjoyed all the caches and the company was reasonable as well.
Lugged a huge ladder around this group of caches. Was it necessary???

On a quick trip North with a few Sydney mates and a colourful local for a few days on the water, in the mud and up the hills, running around grabbing some beaut caches. Much joint puzzle-solving and planning paid off. On day 3, we left the water and mud behind in favour of tall trees, steep hills and a final race around the streets near the airport.
We signed with the space-saving catch-all, “megagom”, in memory of previous exploits.
Thanks Muggle65.

Some plans were hatched with a local and some Sydney Siders for a 3 day quick caching trip which involved get the boat out, yaks, mud, poles, ladders, trees etc. Plenty of solving was done and routes plotted. The boat, the MV Grumpy lived up to its name with some cantankerous displays and the need for running repairs on serval occasions so our timetable had to be amended on more than one occasion.
Day 3 was planned to be a land day well with a few trees as well. More good use of the pole here and lucky we have some tall cachers with us.
A number of us have thought we have previously been the victims of caching identify theft by that mysterious mob call the GOM’s. As a result and given it felt like a bit if a mega the logs were signed MegaGOM. TFTC

Together with Crash2079, Baktrak, bella at waggy and a notorious QLDer this was day 3 of the MegaGOM's special edition Brisbane adventure.
Sans the boat today, there were far less mishaps other than losing a certain member of the party for some time.
Caches all found and in good condition.

A puzzle that I solved the morning after publish on 4/07/2023. Despite the easy puzzle, a checker is always handy to confirm that I hadn't added any human error into the mix.
Whilst on route towards this location, I noted that I had either option for a climb or fish, so after putting confidence in my own abilities, I left my fishing TOTT at the intersection, and jogged towards GZ thinking that overall, the climb would be quicker.
As it turned out, the climb was not the easiest! A tricky ascent upwards, and it was made worst by me dropping the logbook and having to perform the up/down climb twice. The branch that the cache was hanging on with user-friendly loop would have made fishing the better option, so allow this to be a lesson for future visitors. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Muggle65](https://coord.info/PR10G2R0) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Today, with an early morning start, I visited Clear Mountain / Cashmere area to walk around Wessling Close's adjacent bushland whilst chasing a newly published geocache. It was then a visit to Warner Lakes parkrun to then join the family for Saturday morning activities.
Later in the morning, it was then a visit to Mount Gravatt to catch up with a friend and call past a couple of nemeses geocaches, and the afternoon was then utilised in seeing the World Press Photo Exhibition at Brisbane Powerhouse in New Farm.

I went to a wedding on Saturday for the eldest son of one of my very good friends, and his bride. The wedding was lovely. Only when I plugged in the reception address (while at the post wedding afternoon tea) did I realise where the reception was. As any good cacher would, I checked what was around the area, and this cache came up, which I had marked as being needed for a challenge.
Arriving at the parking coordinates in my pretty wedding outfit, I changed shoes (I always try to have caching/tree climbing shoes in my car), and wandered to GZ. At a point in the track, looking at the compass, I headed left and made my way towards GZ. Coming to a fence, I then followed it downhill until I reached the end of the fence and made my way (just on the other side of private property) to where I needed to be. Thankfully there was no one in the vicinity, because I then tucked my dress up in a very unladylike manner, and proceeded to climb the tree. I'm sure it must have looking 'interesting' were anyone to be hiking/biking/cycling nearby.
Tree climbed, cache log signed and returned, then it was time to get myself back down the tree which involved a bit of haphazard sliding. Thankfully the pantyhose weren't ruined!
I then followed the actual track back to the car. Hint for other finders. Just follow the formed track, you don't need to create your own.
Thanks Muggle65. From the day's most overdressed cacher!

This cache was a quick and easy find. I used my TOTT as I already had it with me. TFTC.
Out with T-Tech for a few hours for some tree fishing.
First we took the wander off Wessling Close. Last one in this area, and we used the TOTT. TFTC, Muggle65.

Every cache took us a while to spy the container at the final; much craning of ones neck and squinting into the sky
With this one I opted for a short fishing approach [^]
