This morning Granny and I had a plan to continue with seeking out caches with the off-road attribute for our monthly challenge. It turned out to be a fun day and with lots of various caches in lots of places. We got in a few extras while we were passing as well and even found a couple of ftfs along the way. We got to have a morning tea/ breakfast at an event and met some great cachers. There is some really pretty countryside around this area. We signed the logs and replaced the caches as we found them. Thanks for the caches and the hides. If you are seeing this please check out, GCARTY0, see what is planned for October 2025. There is an importance in placing will attends to events. Thanks for supporting geocaching in Australia. ITS A PARTY EVENT!
After a bumpy entry to the track we drove down and parked close to GZ. The cache was quickly spotted, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Tassie Trekkers for the cache.
Today started as a sunny winters day and eventually ended up with a few light showers later on which made the day all that must better. A great day for going on an adventure finding geocaches. I parked the 4WD as close as I could, about 20m away from GZ. I made a quick find, used my fishing pole to retrieve the cache, added my name to the log sheet, returned the cache to where I found it and safely returned to the car. Now onto the next cache. Thanks for placing and maintaining this geocache.
We are back in one of our favourite towns for a long weekend. For the afternoon we went searching for couple of caches near the showgrounds. We couldn't continue along the fence but got to GZ from the other side.We found this cache and signed the log.Tftc Tassie Trekkers
We spend three nights in Maryborough to clean up the leftovers.Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU and signed the log.Tftc. Tassie Trekkers
We 4wd along the fence line . Parked close to G.Z. and walked in . Found and retrieved the cache. Our fishing pole was easily long enough.. tftc
Another cache found on my trip to Maryborough for a 12 noon event. Left Bargara at 0415 and was complete in Maryborough by 0915. Had my little adventure on this track but nothing worth mentioning here. TFTC Tassie Trekkers.
Another very high cache that my tall friend retrieved Much quicker this time TFTC TT
Continued along the forest trail until we reached GZ, Quickly retrieved and replaced as found. TFTC Tassie Trekkers
Tftc Tassie Trekkers,
(FTF) We had planned on coming to the showgrounds this morning to look at the birds on display at the bird show.
With the 2 new hides just published we headed out with our TOTT ready for action.
Had a bit of a false start as we entered from the wrong side of the fence. Backtracked and found the entrance.
A bit of 4X4 action to get to GZ where BL quickly spotted the cache and made short work of the retrieval.
Thanks for a new hide in the area
