I found it very quickly, I must be lucky or very good at this! Signed and replaced. Thank you!
7 October 2024 3:27pmWas never able to find the previous cache that was hidden on this bridge, even after a couple of attempts. But no trouble with this one, found in the first place I looked. Nice cache, thx for hiding for us to find! FP for you!
Found by Mr P with our new caching friends Robdogs. Second attempt for us and it took long enough. Good hide.
This was the first cache in Echuca we attempted today. A train has just arrived at the station so there were a few muggles that we needed to be aware of whilst searching. We spent at least 20 minutes looking, but it proved too good for us. Unfortunately we were in a rental vehicle and without our usual full caching kit - that is our excuse. We will be back to try again.
Found it! Took about 15 minutes of searching high and low. Was tucked away somewhere sneaky, our first find. Thanks so much!
Found during the Great Victoria Cache Crawl event (day 3). Mel427, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area. Clever hide!
Found very quickly thought by reading logs it would take much longer possibly just got lucky
Found by Mary and David at 08:00. We'd started looking when Crank1 and Pwala arrived. We searched high and low before Crank1 found it in a devious spot about 3m from our indicated GZ. Worth a FP. Our thanks to Mel427.
Needed help for this one! Got there in the end! Thanks for the cache at this great spot!
After A LOT of unsuccessful looking we had some assistance from some new friends on the great Victorian cache crawl we managed to locate it! A lot tricker than we anticipated! TFTC
What a bugger could see it but it was stuck. It needed weaponry to extract! Not so much fun trying to get it out. It was also back to front so We replaced it better than found.TFTC
In Echuca for the Great Victorian Cache Crawl events. Love the railway station and the cache was a fun one. Spent a little while focused on the wrong things then stood back to have a think and it came to us! Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache.
Over the weekend, we went on a Cache Crawl from Sunbury to Echuca, and then to Seymour. The cache was in great condition when we found it. Thank you for placing the cache Mel427.
In Echuca for a few hours today, a quick find after departing the train. Beautiful, cloudless day, which made wandering around sussing out an earthcache location very pleasant. Thanks Mel427 moldy3564 for placing this traditional cache, enhancing the game board and adding to our enjoyment.
It took 2 visits to eventually make the find, thanks to the kind CO giving us some extra intel for our 2nd visit, it turned out we both had looked there many times but just not hard enough, TFTC Mel427
Chooo ooo [Found] on the way to Lameroos Ludicrous Legwarmers JLWEvent! Thanks Mel427!
On a long weekend road trip to Echuca and was picking up the family from their visit elsewhere and had just enough time to stop by here and there was only me and one other car in the whole car park so no muggles made for a quick search and find here. Thanks Mel427 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Tricky find had some trouble, partner was focused on the bolts. Really good, loved the spot
silly me was staring at it the whole timefinally found after about 30 minutes of going around in circles tftc
This one had us perplexed for quite a while as we looked high and low and round and round. Finally we found it in the first place we had looked, but had not spotted it.With a full day in Echuca it was time to get the bikes out and head into town to explore the Port area and town. We managed to complete some Ad Labs as well as puzzles multi and trads along with a Virtual. Not a large number, but some definite quality which we appreciated.A beautiful day and not too many muggles about. We rode more than we were anticipating so were well-worn by the end, but a great day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Mel427.**SKI Pair****
Found it after a long search - how do you get it out!! - my fat fingers are of no use and I didn't bring a tool. Clever hide though.
Second attempt for this cache . In first place we thought it could have been but went searched elsewhere. Persistance paid off . Tftc
Out with my favs Bogonghazy and Geo dog on a gorgeous Sunday. Clever cache. Thanks for placing the geographical very sneaky hide
Up to Rochy with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy to visit Mum on Mothers Day. Thanks for placing, very sneaky but thankfully didn't take too long
Always good to make a find on a cache where many have had to resort to a clue or a PAF.Did take us a while and it was in the first place I considered but didn't check out closely enough.Very sneaky placement indeed. Thanks, it was the hide type we were expecting and shouldn't have taken this long to find.
With the help of co, still took a while to get it outFound after picking Dot558 up from the train and was looking at a third dnfBut thanks for the help managed to get it out
Found with GemmaSistema while waiting for our fish n chips. I had checked the eventual location but it had been dislodged. After a PAF, back I went to re-investigate and soon had our names in the log. TFTC
Found with becca85 on holidays as we headed out to grab some dinner. We checked here and missed it but with a quick call to a friend we soon at the cache in hand and realised our mistake. Neat hide. Cheers for the cache!
Found It!This took a lot of searching but eventually I found it. Luckily there wasn't anyone else around here this morning.TFTC
Finally! Looked yesterday and nearly melted from the heat! After a hint from the CO we looked again lots and lots. Ready some old logs and something stood out. Tried something and voila yep. Hooray. TFTC. Good one!
We looked up and below and again and again. It was so hot we were melting . No joy unfortunately. Im sure we will be back. Thanks anyway.
Spent a lot of time looking for this one a few months back. Finally we had a win today. Very tricky and clever (sneaky/evil) hide. Love it!!
Again, took us forever to find this one. Almost gave up, then randomly tried a spot and here it is. Well tucked in. Quite sneaky.
This was a terrific little hide and as I found it Suscoe arrived and as we had met at Rochester at lunchtime it was good to catch up again.Gorgeous weather up here having travelled up from freezing Creswick's this morning. A favourite point for the hide...
Suscoe was heading north today.A pleasant day for caching with some cloud, a little bit of drizzle but not much and a breeze. It was nice to over the great divide.Lots of green crops, happy farm animals and so many birds on the roads. Thanks to Mel427 moldy 3564 for this hide.It was great to run into Feathertop as we enjoyed caching around Echuca.
Found with catnap777 on a quiet drive in the country side for a smiley or three. Even Echuca didn't seem so busy today, and GZ was deserted allowing us an unhindered search for this very sneaky "other" cache tucked well away from anything liable to be muggled. We were greatful here to have been fortunate enough to have just come from a successful find of another "other" sized cache by the same CO. Just as sneaky, just as clever. The log really is full on this one. Cat' and I snuck our names on the last spot. TFTC M&m.
dalerious and I had the Saturday off in preparation of our holiday to Canberra, leaving after work on Sunday. Well we couldn't stay at home all day, and the dogs needed a run, so be bailed them and us in the car, and had a lovely drive to Echuca . This one was fourth cab off the rank, and I don't mind admitting it had me fooled [8)]. My partner was more game than I to take a further look .A very clever hide that got me over the line with a challenge cache I have been working towards.Thank you Mel427 and moldy3564 for your contribution to the game .
With help from a friend we found what we didn't find yesterday Another challenging hide, thanks M and m.
After finding the first new cache in Echuca near the car charge station we headed down here to look for this cache. Missed it the first then something didnt look quite right, so we checked again and there it was. Found before going across the road to visit Big W. Giving this one a fav too. TFTC. SL. This one was very sneaky like the first one, but we found it in the end. Cheers. cache is still in very good condition. Bye.
Looked in the obvious spot: no. Looked again after some scrambling over it.and we were originally right. TFTC!
Not what I expected. Nicely done. On a week school holidays in the cabin at Moama. FP.
A very clever hide I had to PAF for a clue
Signed and replaced where found
A favourite point from me Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment

The house is being painted, we have an excitable puppy, so we decided to go away for 5 days up to Wakiti near Echuca using our Travel Auctions win. Very good value with lovely owners. Virtually no internet though so catching up with logging now.
This morning we were heading off for a day of caching around Echuca and this cache was next on the list. After having an attempt at this one this morning to no avail we had PAF during the day and came back armed with some info. Whilst not all the info was correct, GMelb was able to lay his hands on the cache whilst GeopupV stayed in the car after an exhausting day.

Spending a few days in Echuca, always time for a cache or two, nice hide. TFTC
Sadly after looking and looking no joy. Under and above. Train station is magnificent. Tyftc
Spending a couple of nights camping in Echuca. Found this one relatively quickly. TFTC
Day 59 of our greynomad trip up north and after a the JLWEvents, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, we finally escaped the southern weather that has been wet and windy. Not sure that we are acclimatised to the northern heat yet as we are feeling it by early afternoon, but out sightseeing and caching in the morning.
Now we pop up back home in Echuca as we have some important family and personal issues to deal with prior to returning to Darwin. We were so glad to have a few local caches being published, otherwise our streak would have collapsed with the need to drive so far from home for the next unfound cache.
Waited for muggles to pass by, then said muggle fell up the stairs. Thank goodness he was ok. Given that we were 3300 kms from here when the cache was published, pretty happy with a 2TF.

The sun was shining and the day was perfect for a little bit of geocaching, Today was a chance to find some of those caches that have sat on my unfound list for way too long.
This one had sat unfound for more than 18hrs yet there were at least two other cachers working in the Echuca area. They'd had ample time to attempt a FTF but hadn't done so. Oh well, we will
Thank you, Mel427, for this cache.
