Ha ha - dj vu - and theres my name! Memorable! Driving into Koo Wee Rup I am thinking...I've been here! As with the other close by multi another signed a year ago! Cache in same place hee hee. I'm dodging rain drops having just spent a fab weekend caching near Leongatha....now its the big drive back to the NE. TFTC and the FUN.
I worked out the numbers and then began searching. What "Black Pole"? I couldn't see one, but I searched under other black things. No luck for me; DNF! The nearby wall is having a new mural.
Found 7 Sep 2024 at 1:19:51PMAfter doing parkrun in Mirboo North, I gradually meandered my way home finding a few caches along the way.I had to walk away from this one initially with a family sitting nearby having lunch but once I got back from the other one, the coast was clear and cache easily found. Many thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for placing Remembering the Fallen - Koo Wee Rup for us all to find. On way to PI Noticed multi cache in this areaDecided a quick detour hereHavent been here before..Thanks for being me here & cache.
Mrs Crackers was in Tooradin doing some cache maintenance and saw that there were two multi's in KooWeeRup so she decided to take the circuitous route home. Two multi's from one park was also a bonus. The information was gained and the co-ords put in. There was a work truck parked quite close to gz's so after finding the side tracked cache we came back here to find the truck just leaving. The cache was spotted quickly and we added our name to the log before returning it as found. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for another in this series.Lest we Forget.

Out and about with TanSaf today. We parked close by after finding the nearby multi, gathered the required information and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the multi
Today was the day to give the new car a freeway and country run. Skylizard and I set off to Koo Wee Rup for this purpose and to get a few caches. This was our second cache for the day. Love a short straight forward multi. We gathered the required information, applied it and made a very quick find. TFTC Pinkpiggy7
Took longer than I expected as my coords had me on wrong side. But rain had GPS eandering too, but perseverance paid off and finally signed log after a 20min search. TFTC and the history!
A lovely quick and easy multi.A lovely little memorial park and some great information provided by CO TFTC
With a quick break to stretch my legs I made a mad cache dash, only to forget my pen. Photo log attached. Lest We Forget
This took way longer than anticipated, but that's because I'm clearly blind! As an army brat I do like caches around memorials that respect the area. Thanks for placing these in the wild.
Quick calculation of final GZ then a short search got the find Nice camo container TFTC SL
A very quick multi pitstop. The systematic search took a bit longer as I was expecting the cache to be something else.
09:32After officially saying farewell to 2023 from a vantage point at Queenscliff, it was quite a solemn reminder of years past as we go on with our 2024 caching journey without getting too side tracked at Koo Wee Rup.Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for hiding caches in interesting locations. 36305
19 December 2023 4:45 pm"Are you okay to drive me to my own event?", was the message I woke up to today, otherwise it might be cancelled. With the news that Brains car had had a bit of a malfunction. But Buhfuhguh to the rescue, quickly picking him up and rushing down to make the event in time. All in all was a great little day out caching in this corner that I rarely visit, thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
I've got to stoptaking hints literally as searched all black poles before turning up with the cache with dot558Our third "simple"multicacheThanks pinkpiggy7
Stopped in town last night, talk about lots of rain all day and night! Great to wake this morning to some clouds only. Collected data and the shortest walk for a multi to GZ on record. TFTC
Find 3180Beautiful sunny morning as we travelled to Koo Wee Pup to tackle these 2 caches.got al the info and headed to Gz. Started the search but nothing was showing up.Decided to widen the search and some geo trails gave me a chance to explore.Yes it was located.Log signed and all back safe again. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for bringing us here.
A nicely constructed multi in a lovely repurposing of the rail line into a thoughtful memorial. TFTC Pinkpiggy7
Off for a few days down at Phillip Island with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies. We just did a few caches along the road and some AdLabs.A really nice job in the construction and location of this memorial.Neat cache too. Thanks, Robmc.
21407. The first day of a little trip with Robmc and the geodoggies. Williamstown to Phillip Island with a few caches and several stages of Adlabs along the way. A very nicely set out memorial area to our Service Personnel. The trees are looking very good after 8 years and will be a magnificent feature as time goes on. Well set out plaques and am impressive Honour Roll with so many early VX numbers (the earliest we noted was 66) and so many young men lost to war in so many locations around the globe.A good find after a short search and all is good with the hide. Thanks Pinkpiggy7
Suscoe was heading home today after a delightful and sunny week on Phillip Island. The weather had turned a little today with cloudy skies and light rain every now and again. We love the countryside near Western Port Bay with rolling hills, flat lands and the ever growing urban areas to the north. So many happy cows, green paddocks and asparagus poking through the ground. Thanks to PinkPiggy7 for this nice little multi. A lovely area too.
I headed out today with the goal of completing the hard Teamwork Makes the Dream Work Wheel of Challenges souvenir and that goal was achieved so now I can relax for the rest of the month. Unbelievably beautiful weather for the second day in a row this weekend made the task much easier and enjoyable.I stopped here and shortly after had the long arduous walk to GZ for a nice quick find today. I then headed over to the Sidetracked cache. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Very behind on logs, sorry! We were staying at Jam Jerrup for the weekend for a friends 60th birthday party, dressing up in 60s gear! The party was last night and was lots of fun! We checked out of the holiday accommodation this morning and headed back towards Corinella, stopping for a few caches on the way. This was next on the agenda as we are heading home towards Melbourne. Collected the info for this one as well and headed to GZ where a nice easy find was made. Thanks for highlighting this area and memorials. TFTC PinkPiggy7 - GJMMelb
A quick visit to melb for daughters birthday and early for a change so a little time to go exploring. Love what has been created as a memorial to war veterans here. An easy solve on a crisp morning. Thanks for your ongoing commitment to place caches for us to enjoy this game. Regards

Nice straight forward multi. Just the way I like them. All in good order. Thanks for setting this one up.
One more multi added to the list.
The plan is to get the percentage of multis to overall finds back up to 10%
Every little bit helps.

Pinkpiggy7 has published several “Remembering the Fallen “ caches around the area and this adds to the tally. I have lost count of how many of them I have found. I might tally them up some time. This multi takes advantage of the memorials in the neatly kept location. A lovely sunny day added to my pleasure doing these caches.
A nice straight forward multi as far as the gathering information was concerned, the gps had me at a different spot to where my gps was pointing though and I found the hint a little misleading as I searched all of those before finally spotting the cache.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.
Lest We Forget.

Busy day today with lots of sport and as such I was just delaying getting up. But as soon as new caches got released and this one in particular, I was up and dressed in no time. Driving here, my car was saying it was only 2 degrees Celsius and it was very foggy. This did mean I had the place to myself.
Worked out the multicache part and started looking specifically using the hint. Of course I started at the completely wrong end, but found it in the end and sent a message to the CO. Then got to watch the lovely, if cold, sun rising.
Thanks for the cache Pink Piggy 7
