Needed to charge our car and this cache was within reach. Took geotoddler with me for a quick walk and stretch. What a cute little find! TFTC!
Staying in Koroit, we did a trip to Port Fairy. This cache had popped up on the map since I was last here, and I was compelled to find it. I love street libraries.
Up in port fairy working have a coach load of German exchange students, parked my coach fairly close to this one and found fairly quickly great little hide TFTC
A quick find here today, cache is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Love this location. Very useful.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Moon's day the fourteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit cooler today. It was so windy today. A few showers. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. TFTC great little hiding spot also well designed log. Nice community garden near by which we would not have known was here except for looking for the geocache.
A quick visit to Port Fairy whilst staying at cp at Koroit. Great Community set up here & cache in an interesting spot. Tftc
We looked in every spot other than where we should have been looking. Picked up a book from the community library while we were there, TFTF
Down in Warnambool for the Running Festival, so time to finish of some of the caches we had left Nice easy find tftc
A roadtrip in the rain so far; at least there's shelter here for signing the log. TFTC
Bisoutje and I are on a roadtrip with a campervan between Cairns and Adelaide and have now touched ground at the Great Ocean Road. We had a great day on the road, enjoying ocean views around almost every corner. Whenever the ocean wasn't visible we turned our eyes upward to spot koalas which we managed exactly once.We couldn't imagine a nicer place to end this day than Port Fairy. This cute town, although small, has lots to offer! We enjoyed an afternoon/evening walk that also brought us by the nice little library. We left Chomsky and Paper towns inside as we came to look for the cache that was a quick find.TFTC!
Reached around a little too much around the little book shed and felt more than I liked haha .. Nice sunny morning in Port Fairy, second last day of our Great Ocean Road family trip from Malaysia and Singapore! tftc
On my way home from Portland with ConnieandRick, concentrating on Adlabs but doing a few bonus or nearby trads. We searched around for a short while before the cache was found. My thanks for the cache, bucketeer.
Doing an ad lab nearby on the way back from Portland with Muzza. This was a slow find, I was glad Muzza read a couple of logs out as I'd never have looked there otherwise to the T rating. Thanks for the cache.
Found while heading from Portland to Port Fairy on a lovely day. Thanks for the cache bucketeer. Found once I looked in the right place!
Found by Mary and David at 11:45. Here to start the Rail Trail Ad Lab, and couldn't resist this one so close by. Lovely sunshine too. Found the container easily enough, but it was empty - no log. We had some in the maccamobile, so added a new Rite-in-the-Rain log. Our thanks to bucketeer.
Outnabout for some solo caching while in the area for a few days after attending GeoWoodstock XX in the USA in May which was an awesome event attracting geocachers from around the world. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC bucketeerFor anyone looking for bucket list event to attend, check out: GCANXX1 - GeoWoodstock XXI on 24th May 2025 in West Virginia, USA. See you there.
I broke my rule of putting my hand where I couldn't see and found the cache. Thanks.
Had to spend a few minutes reading book covers while some muggles passed by but then able to find this sneaky hide to mark out stay in Port Fairy. TFTC
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Travelling from Portland to Warrnambool for a few days to grab some of the local hides. Lovely little communal library and a nice selection too. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are on the move again today, finding the odd cache along our route. TFTH. LNCU.
Found it! What a great community space that has been created here, great location. Love visiting. TFTC
Loved this little street library. I meant to bring a book to swap and forgot. Lots of choices here! Clever cache. TFTC
Starting with family in Koroit. Nice day for a bit of geocaching. Nice easy find. TNLN, T4TC.Cheers, Ric
Atempted repair on 30/4/2024, but the replacementt cache I gave the The Morris on 8/2 to replace has also now gone missing also and I didn't have a replament container on hand, but have corrected the issue that I disabled the cache for. Will replace again in a couple of weeks when I'm next over that area.
We were in Portland for a few days visiting dad and thought that we would break up the monopoly and head to Warrnambool to find some caches.Mrs Crackers was walking down the rail trail to finish off an Adventure Lab while Dad and I decided to try our luck at a couple of local caches while we waited. This one was very close to where we were to meet her so we thought it was an omen. This one took a little longer than we expected as we searched in the wrong area to start with.Once we got to the correct area it was not too long before we were adding our name to the log and then returned every thing as found. Many thanks bucketeer for showing us this very interesting location.
----------### **CACHE OWNER PLEASE NOTE** ###----------Hi there bucketeer,Just wondering if you have noticed the recent logs by 'Happy Feet 1, The Morris , Nanzie, paddle chick, bullertrout and suscoe' which indicate this cache is OK and available to be found/signed?Even though things may seem OK, there is still a need to Enable the cache - see this link: [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) .**I've Enabled the cache for you on this occasion.****JUST A TIP:-** In case you are not aware, there is a Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own. Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)
Thanks to bucketeer for this hide. We had arrived early for the Folkie weekend and this was a quick find before lunch.A nice spot to hide a cache.A pleasantly mild day too.
We didn't expect to find this one with the previous dnfs but it was right there, very easy. Bullertrout, Nanzie and i are caching our way to Adelaide for the mega. Picking up what we can in the time available. All logs are being signed as BT, N, PC or some variation of that to save space. TFTC bucketeer#15168
PCNBT TEAM on our trip to join our other caching friends in Adelaide for the Event this was a nice easy find tftc bucketeer
Found with Paddle Chick and Nanzie on our road trip to Adelaide for the mega. Staying in town tonight. Was aiming for Portland but realised we were not going to make it on time
A beautiful day to visit Port Fairy. While Mr M went fishing Lady M hopped on the bike and went cycling. This was the first stop and fortunately noone was around today so I could have a good poke around. Thanks for adding to the local caches bucketeer
Unfortunately, wasnt able to find it. Found where it possibly may have been in the case that it has been lost thanks for the spot nonetheless.
Walked the geodog on a quiet Sunday to sign this cache, (that we found yesterday) now we have brought a pen with to sign. TFTC
Out and about on holiday in Port Fairy. A lovely part of the world. This one was a previous DNF, but we had another look as it had been replaced recently. Was just lying around loose, but we couldnt figure out where it should be, so we left it as we found it.
I love these community initiatives. The cache took me longer to find than I would prefer to admit but I eventually got it on a second inspection. tftc
Easy find - great to have some more geocaches in the Port! Thanks for the cache
quick find. Slowly heading to warrnambol. I was getting my numbers up to 20 finds in this LGA.Found with Mogni. I think this is the most changed trip in the planning stage that i have ever been on. The " original trip " was supposed to start on the 31st of dec but at the start of decemeber life changed and the trip was now starting on the 26th of decemeber and all accommodation that had booked cancelled and now see what else is free on the ealier dates. A major readjust of plans and got 1/2 the trip booked before the next curve ball came in to alter the plans again. More adjusting the plans again and i realized i could host 2 CITO's in 2 different LGA's in victoria. What we do to qualify for victorian challenge caches. Also i got my 20, 000 cache over in victoria in this trip. It was decided in the end that the 4x4 was going to be the vechicle for this trip that way we could go and target all the caches that you never get, the ones down the sandy/rocky/dirt and forestry roads/tracks. We left Adelaide and headed to Casterton for a couple of days, then to Budj Bim National Park ( and saw 5 koalas in the camp ground high up in the trees ), then over Heywood, a night in Mount Gambier plus there attended the 3rd CITO of the trip before sending a few nights in Millicent and then finally home. Over 250 caches found plus 86 lab caches. Mogni also got her 11th D/T loop. I also got 3 more victorian LGA's up to 20 finds mininium for another victorian challenage cache. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was reaced with a new container and if the logsheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
Every year between Christmas and New Year, Sir_spectre get a holiday from work so off we go on a new adventure. This year we headed over the border to explore the area, host some events and of course get some smilies. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts
Looked and looked and eventually looked in the right place. Great community spirit. TFTC
On our travels we found ourselves in port fairy and took the opportunity to grab this cache, what a wonderful idea love it, thanks for placing this cache
Love a good street library cache!! Everything is in good order here Thanks for the hide.
In Warrnambool to celebrate with my dad for his birthday today. Love to come out this way and enjoy the views see how things are changing in this lovely little town. Grabbed a coffee nearby and was happy to find this, after a short search. It was a little sneaky. Thanks buketeer for placing this cache for us to find.
Cool little library and produce area. We took a free lemon to add to our Sunday night G&Ts. Quick find TFTC
scramping & I were visiting Warrnambool for a 4-day long weekend. This afternoon was the perfect weather to collect a few caches. A nice, full little library with lots of produce next door. The cache was tricky initially as I had felt there but scramping followed my footsteps and located the cache.TFTC bucketeer
Thankyou for the cache and bringing me to this location. What a day for a caching adventure. Cheers
Had quite a search here today but no luck this time unfortunately. Off to find another one
Mooi gedaan. Gelogd heb ik om 7u04. TFTC.(Translation later).
No luck here today - this one has either been muggled or my caching senses have abandoned me for now!
Found It.............It was decided while having breakfast to head down to grab a few caches. After pulling up we wandered over to GZ where after waiting out the muggles from the market, a quick search soon had us with the cache in hand and with the log signed and cache replaced we took in the views. Thanks bucketeer for the cache
