Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today we headed out to the Barossa, with the main points of interest being a winery (of course), the chocolate factory, and of course the famous Geostuff. Caching wise we mostly targeted ones we had pre-planned on a list but ended up with some extras we happened to be passing as well. We ended the day with a handful back in Adelaide, and an evening walk to grab a few close to our accommodation. Overall, it was yet another very enjoyable and productive day.Managed to grab a parking right next to GZ and make a quick find. Thanks for the cache

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Have to collect B from the airport and also call into one of the specialist stores at Mile End, so it was convenient to find those caches close by. Completed the errand and then looked at the map and quickly guessed the hide for this one. Wandered over to GZ, and as I wandered past, I grabbed the cache and kept walking. Took the cache to a convenient spot to extract the log and signed it. Then turned around, and as I walked back to the car, replaced the cache without breaking stride. Thankfully, on a holiday Monday, it was not too busy.Another Gone in 60 seconds, gone in 60 seconds.Gratias pro cache Memphis and Friends
Wow what a day! This morning I was part of the multi talented team that tackled the Crab Geoart. Well organised, great people and fantastic outcomeDrove to adelaide to watch some finals netball - yah a win!!!A nice quick find today but I must admit I was unsuccessful a month ago. Today DNF gone in 60 seconds! Special thanks to Memphis and friends for this cache
I tried this cache, on my way to Kurralta Park for an appointment.Back in April this year, I tried this cache, but I seems the cache was missing.Today, as the cache has been replaced by cache owner, I found the cache easily.Signed the log, and placed the cache container back. Thanks for the cache, Memphis and Friends. One more gone, for the "Gone in 60 Seconds" Series.PS: glad the blue sad face can turn into yellow smiley face.
Now Ive definitely found this before but I clearly forgot to log it! And the log has been replaced since so I dont know when that was. No matter- we sign it again, and now its properly found!
Arrived in Adelaide for an appointment and saw this had been replaced. Great to turn a grown into a smiley before the sun rose! Thanks for the hide.
Emptyish car park while waiting for Anaconda to open on a chilly Sunday morning. Quick find TFTC
Didn't find it a few months ago. We were lucky this time at the spot we thought it would be, looks like it was replaced... TFTC
Found while shopping for a dash cam at the nearby store. Love these containers. Third one found in Aus. Have never seen this type in South Africa. No pen, so took a pic of the logbook.
think the cache is gone and has been muggled from our own experience and the recent DNFs
Something special or unusual goes here:Time to grab a few more caches on the way home. Unfortunately this one eluded me. Bugger. You are only as good as your last find....you pwned this noob today! **Thanks GeocachingSA for the search anyway. ** The Generic Bit:Today I was off to Adelaide again for another Leap Day lead up event Running early I decided to grab a few caches along the way. Bugger another DNF I will have to rectify later.
Logging as a beta tester on this great cache series. Mary was not seen today.Life goes on day after dayHearts torn in every waySo Mary 'cross the Mersey'Cause this land's the place I loveAnd here I'll stayI will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Picked up Chingola and then headed out for a day of caching. Soon joined by JJ52 for added fun, a variety of caches were found, along with a new lunch spot and a maintenance run. This was the first of the day and a quick find.
Finding a few caches today. There are lots of people here so stealthily finding and replacing cache was hard.TNLNSLThanks for the cache
Headed out for a bike ride and to grab a few caches along the way. All up 15 caches were found, including this one. Beautiful day for it and judging by the amount of bikes and activewear I saw along the way, I'd guess those two things were high up on the list of Christmas (or Boxing Day buys . TFTC
Found during a short circuit around the suburbs to find a cluster of caches in the area. Thanks for the cache Memphis and Friends!
With a couple of hours up my sleeve, decided to see how many of this series we could get to before dark and we managed 9 this evening, cache was found and signed in less than 60 secondsTFTC GeocachingSA
Thanks GeocachingSA for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 998 for us
Todays Gone in 60 Seconds cache, and another quick score here. GZ was nice and quiet at 8am, although the roads surrounding it were pretty frantic. Now, if only there was somewhere for breakfast close by. Thanks again Memphis and Friends.
On my way to a late netball match and decided to stop off for this one and the other one close by when all is quiet with no muggles around.A quick find in one of the usual spots. A couple more of this series done. Thanks for the cache Memphis and Friends.
I hadnt planned to get active at lunch today, but then saw a news article that said that 22 minutes per day of exercise was good for people who sit most of the day. This prompted me to get into gear and jump on the mountainbike at lunch and ride out of the CBD to grab a few caches.22+minutes of exercise achieved, 7km of bike riding done and 4 caches found.
Found on a little run. My phone gps was also a little off but the clue sent me in the right direction. It was a busy time of day so I did some impromptu stretches to avoid suspicion when replacing. TFTC
I am slowly ticking off this series and today I made my way around finding them, all in good order for the ones I found. This morning after a breakfast event in north Adelaide I decided to head out to find some caches around the city before being in the western suburbs finding some caches that were newly published. Thanks for the cache
Well it wasn't exactly where the gps on my phone took me, but with limited options a quick find was made! TFTC
Found this in quickly and had it signed and returned in 60 seconds. I was lucky enough to have a ride in an Aston Martin once, such a nice car.
Wow. Coming here on a Sunday wasn't a good idea. Most places would have no-one around but this was nuts! I knew where it was and had to wait for a break in the car park traffic plus wait for people to go away who had just turned up. About 5 minutes later, I had it. Luckily when I went to put it away there was no-one around that I could see. TNLN. Cheers.
Our Tuesday trekking turned into a Wednesday Wonder.
Ttrogg picked up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
We went after a few FTF's before returning to the plan.
Another quick find of an official geocache.

It was time for another Wednesday Wander so with the Rat only today we headed towards the chosen playing area which was mainly west of the city where quite a few new caches had appeared since we were last in the area. But there had been 10 caches published so it wasn't until they had all been taken care of, some by us, the rest by others, before we returned to Plan A. This cache was either one of the planned caches or one of the new ones that just happened to be in the area we were working. All caches looked for were found by one of us or sometimes by both of us simultaneously so it was a very satisfying day with quite a few added to the count. Most were from the new Gone in 60 Seconds Series which was nice for a traditionalist like me, except for Hillary which I found not as easy as I should have. The others were a variety of newish trads, puzzles and letterboxes.
Thanks to Memphis and Friends for placing this cache on our playing field.
Cache #13971 for me.

Cars, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching...
On the road again, with Jack, caching along the way wherever we go
[^] [^]
In a hazardous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid objects falling from trees
- - - a cache a day keeps the boredom away
--------
Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on
(Covid cancels caching! - Flu finished fun!))
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now... ... until next time!

Plenty of parking here. Parked the DB7 ( BYD) and went to work. Thanks Memphis and Friends for the cache.
I thought that picking this one up on the way to the early morning event would be a good idea. Luckily there were no muggles near GZ so a quick find was made.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Memphis and Friends for this cache.
Parked at Home Centre & walked to the 3 new caches which helped get my daily steps up. Tftc
Out to rectify a DNF on a nearby Multi and decided to drop by for this Trad

{*FTF*} was preparing to pop out anyway when we saw some new caches had been published. After doing a collection, noticed this little cluster of 3 were close by. A beaut mild evening to detour around and the roads were pretty quiet so no trouble with muggles although this location will be very busy at certain times. TFTC!
STF. Home is where the heart is/was, sad that one got taken.
I was in a meeting tonight and the phone was dinging. Minty man asked if I was going for the first to find. I ignored the endless vibration on my watch. I saw all the messages after I finished the meeting. Doh, what a shame. Everything comes down to timing doesn't it.
Found on the way home at 9.33pm. Everything here in good condition, as it should be. Nice decorations on the cache. Thanks for the cache M&F.
