Quick find. Cache is in excellent shape exactly at GZ. Grtz from The Netherlands!
Today I went for a walk and looked for this one and soon found it. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC. Cache and contents are in excellent condition.A quick find at GZ however I was getting constantly distracted by the beautiful water pools that were so inviting, but Ill have to come back when its towards the end of summer when its a bit warmer to go for a swim.
As we camped our way from Bruny Island to the ferry in Devonport, we enjoyed a visit to Bay of Fires. We'd been here a month or so earlier in the wild and woolly storms that were around at the time.Today was a grey, but much calmer day. A quick hunt after checking the health of my nearby EC at The Gardens Thanks for the cache Desurf
We headed to the Garden and on the way back we found this cache it was a nice quick find. TFTC
We sailed into Devonport this morning after a VERY interesting trip from Geelong on the Spirit Of Tasmania.Who knew SHIPS MADE NOISES LIKE THAT when it decides to start 'surfing waves' Here in one of my favourite spots, - Tassie ...I thought id grab a few smilies since my wife hadnt been this high up the East Coast before.Cracking day .. possibly calm before the storm LITTERALY but we found the cache sadely tucked away and then explored the stunning rocks and white sand.Tftc Toolman,
Beautiful crisp, clear, bright and sunny winter's day with not a breath of wind ............................ and no people to speak of ! (Sometimes called muggles) . New cache since our last visit, and we're picking up a few GA's as well. Found soon enough in good nick, and convenient. TFTC Desurf.
Been a while since we were up this way but with two caches [one GC and one GCA] it was worth the detour since we were at St Helens anyway. On an overcast day the orange rocks weren't as impressive as usual but the incredible pounding surf made up for that.A quick find at GZ and then we drove up to the Gardens through the free range sheep. Had already done all the caches up here but always worth another look. Thanks Desurf.
Today we further explored our back yard finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that have been published since our last visit. A nice sunny and a quick find at GZ.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.
Queenslanders heading up the east coast after completing the 3 Capes Walk.Spending 2 nights in St Helens to see the Bay of Fires and cache. Geohubby found this one. Cache in good condition. Thanks Desurf for the cache
[9052] Holidays on Tasmania, day 13. Today we had enough time to explore the magnificent Bay of Fires. We started with a walk from Binalong Bay to the Balancing Boulder and headed after lunch up to The Gardens. On the way back we stopped for more scenic geocaches, the last geocaching visit for today became the grandfather virtual. Finally, we spent some time at the beach before we returned to our cabin at Pelican Point. This geocache belonged to our finds today. TFTC!
Quick grab after spending an hour or so rock climbing, photographing just hanging in a gorgeous location.
Today is the second day on our Tasmania trip with my family. We came to visit the bay of fires on a cloudy day which really accentuated the light blue waters, red rocks and white sand. Love the vibes. Tftc
Camping at the 'Bay of Fires' and visited Gardens. Completed the caches in the area while here.TNLN
A mixed day today. We drove up to bay of fires and the gardens and had a good look around there then after calling into the information centre we headed up to derby for a look around. This included my Paris dam and a few places around derby. Spotted a very hungry (and too busy eating to worry about us) echidna at mt Paris Dam and a soaring hawk near winnaleah. Lovely place for a cache and I got some great shots of the surf
Found October 1/10/23 @ 11:07 AMQuick find here today on a trip in the area. Quite a bit of wind around saw the small cove/beach choc full of seagulls. Thanks Desurf for the cache
Second to find. Here visiting Tasmania from NSW on a break. Absolutely stunning location. Thanks for placing. TFTC
FTF @ 3:30pm. Spending the weekend with the (adult) kids in Binalong Bay and noticed this new cache nearby. We've been here many times before and it's always such a beautiful spot. Took the travel bug to move on. TFTC and will give this one a FP for the location.
