Was in the West of town today and frustratingly all of the caches I had chosen to find on my way to a meeting were roped off by bicycle track works including this one. Undeterred I at least wanted one find today. ( the cases along Federation track near Millers Road were all closed. ) So having solved this mystery a few weeks ago - I wandered over to GZ. After a few minutes I spotted the likely cache container. Yep. - I signed log and replaced - and found my way back to the path.

Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Sol's day the twentieth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. First cache of the day now onto the CITO!

15-Sep-24
Arriving a little early for the CITO, teamed up with Crack'n'LeeLee and BlackOpal2005 for a walk to this previously solved puzzle. BO2005 had her caching eyes in and made the find of this well concealed cache. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide ADI.

With the nearby CITO now done, it's time to find some caches! Solved this awhile ago, but it was a fun one to do. Came by GZ, and being a pleasant day there were many walkers and cyclists whizzing by. I had to pretend to tie many shoe laces or was an avid train-spotter before finally grabbing the cache. I had little time to unroll so I've signed above micaparamedic, Crack'n'LeeLee and McLookers who were all here earlier today. Thanks AlphaDeltaIndigo for the fun puzzle and the geo-placement. Cache on

Left Bendigo real early this morning and arrived at Sunshine at 0800. Grabbed this one while walking down to the nearby CITO. I looked at this puzzle either late last night or just before 0100 this morning. I'm going to say my tiredness at that time of night led to a rookie mistake in calculating the final. Thanks AlphaDeltaIndigo for placing this Mystery Cache, enhancing the game board and adding to our enjoyment.

What a beautiful morning!! Everyone walking by had a smile on their face which is great to see. I had to wait a few minutes at GZ to search for the cache but it's all part of the game.A nice little puzzle, so thanks for that.

Nice, easy find. All in good condition. TFTC

On a cold wet and miserable morning Sims_family and Dromaniax headed up the Highway with a list of caches on our hit list to work on some LGA based challenge caches. With all our targets being in the Melbourne Suburbs we decided to take the Domaniax Geomobile instead of the Ginja Ninja of the Geo Vehicle of the Sims_family as the 4x4 wouldn't be needed.Even though we were in drizzling rain and some cold biting wind it didn't dampen our spirits as we work our names into the log books.Knowing we were heading this way today we had a quick look at this puzzle and had it sorted in quick time. At GZ Mr Dromaniax had the find made pretty quick too.Thank you AlphaDeltaIndigo for the Mystery

25-Jul-24
We were chatting with Sims_family and discussing our progress on several challenge caches and how we would best approach them by working together to qualify for as many as possible as soon as possible. With this in mind and having a few weeks off work, we worked out a list of caches to cover as many Metro LGAs as possible over the next few weeks. After dropping Mrs Dormaniax off at the ferry in Portarlington, it was straight to Casa Sims, where we picked up Mr Sims_family and headed into Melbourne to find some caches. The day started drizzly, and we became damp when finding our first half-dozen caches. All caches we found were in excellent condition unless otherwise noted.Thank you, AlphaDeltaIndigo, for this Mystery cache.

I like this puzzle, I like that I learnt new acronyms!Once solved and the parking coords noted, we strolled over. Hmmm. What does that hint mean?Ah, yes, that's what it means.Connie&Rick and I smiled, signed, replaced. Thanks AlphaDeltaIndigo

Out with Snips and Co driving them around a few LGAs they were seeking. This required a bit of research as neither of us knew all the phrases. Then a quick drive to GZ, where eagle eyed Snips made the find. Thanks for a simple and good puzzle.

A need for a walk despite the threatening clouds saw me travel over the Westgate, and up a little to walk around the inner west. Unlike some of the later Stony Creek caches, these streets were free of truck traffic and thus the walk was free of eye irritation and chest tightening. I appreciated the short travel time and once again marvelled at how getting from one set of inner suburbs to another is far quicker than driving to the northern suburbs or Mornington Peninsula. I reckon the residents have the best of both worlds - on the one hand, they are close to the Westgate and ring road and so can reach parts of Melbourne as well as the regions quite easily and quickly. On the other hand, other than freight trains there is comparatively little traffic noise. My logs will include this standard blurb and then a comment or two about each cache separated from this blurb by a dividing line. Thanks to the CO for putting these caches out during the latter half of 2023 and thus creating a nice walking trail. A bit of exercise combined with filling in a few missing placed months was ideal.---After having struck out (initially as it turns out) at the previous puzzle's GZ and then the nearby trad I was beginning to wonder whether my geosenses were temporarily on strike. After having a conversation with an elderly Asian gent who asked me where the path went and what I thought the silos were across the rail line I made short work of finding this cache. I now suspected that I'd make a similarly quick find at the other puzzle's GZ.

This has been sitting here ready to be picked up for ages. Mrs Riddell works nearby and is always put off by the maze that the road network is around here.Today we were both at home and Mrs Riddell needed to drop into work so she enticed Mr Riddell to come along and collect a couple of nearby caches. It was a Quick find and once opened the log was found to be full, so we replaced it with a rite in the rain log.TFTC

After finishing work in the nearby area, I had time to start my Friday Evening Geocaching Run early. It might have been too early, with it being very hot for all this walking, but I've only ever got 1 geocache in the Brimbank LGA. So it was time to change that. No DNFs, which was great. But I didn't get the required 20 for the challenge I am working on, but my number has now increased from 1 to 11, and a bonus cache in the Maribyrnong LGA makes that LGA now 20. This puzzle I solved the week in was published, but this, it was the first time I have been in the area. This one took way too long to find. Mostly because I put my bag on it and then couldn't find it. I had just about given up, grabbed my bag and then spotted it. Thanks for the cache, Alpha Delta Indigo.Hunter

A quick park and grab after visiting the in-laws nearby. Still familiarising myself with puzzles, I managed to get this one quickly. No pen on me so I will send a photo. TFTC

Continuing along with my finding a cache after work challenge (just a personal challenge) so as I worked today and these have been dots on my map in a sea of yellow for some time so time to fix that. Finally a puzzle that my non puzzling brain could understand and actually solve without any hints and the checker was happy.Did this one over a beer last night so all good to go.A tad warm today so what do you do in the heat, go for a walk to find a cache or two.Found a spot to park and off I went.Approached GZ and soon spotted something that was out of the ordinary and soon fad the cache in hand.Watched a few trains go by after signing the log. Thanks AlphaDeltaIndigo TFTC.

# 21560. With it being New Year's Day and knowing that the roads would be very very quiet we ventured out to start our caching year and for Rob to do some maintenance. Successful mission on all counts.Parked nearby and collected 3 caches around here. Rob had solved this one and it was the first one collected. We made it too difficult until I spied a likely suspect. The tiny log sheet is full already, especially with a large stamp on the back side of it. Could do with refreshing. Thanks AlphaDeltaIndigo

A lovely sunny start to the New Year, so BettyBoo3747 and I decided to clean up some SideTracked caches around the area. Turned out a good idea as the streets and car parks were quite empty.I had to pick this mystery up before I solved it a third time! (Don't ask!)I didn't guess the hide, fortunately BB spotted it after I had tied my shoe laces. Thanks, Robmc.

Found by Mary and David at 16:00. D solved this one almost as soon as it was published. Needed a Mystery today towards a Challenge, and we've been saving this cache for that reason. Great puzzle and a FP. Our thanks to AlphaDeltaIndigo.

After participating in a CITO in Coburg this morning, I spent the rest of the morning chasing out caches to complete the Moonee Valley LGA for the **WCW - The 80/20 Rule Challenge**. With that... and lunch... out of the way, it was now time to hunt out caches around Sunshine to complete the Brimbank LGA.Even after more than a decade of caching I'm not that great with puzzles so I really appreciated the Hint provided with this one. The cache itself was easy to spot... I have a similar container but have never found anywhere to put it. Thanks **AlphaDeltaIndigo** for putting this cache here.

Found the cache after a short search. Luckily there were limited places to look. I had no idea SWAG was an acronym, I thought it was just swag. Which came first, the acronym or the word? Thanks for hiding and creating a nice puzzle.

Found by The EmpireThe afternoon sun bathed Sunshine, in a warm, golden glow, and I felt an irresistible urge to take a leisurely walk near the old railway tracks that wound through the heart of the town. After picking up a SideTracked cache, I had the co-ords of this one plugged into my GPSr from last weekend - a quick find. Thanks for the cache AlphaDeltaIndigo.- M

A sneaky morning visit just because... well, because I'd fairly quickly solved the puzzle just after publication, so why not take a short drive for a smiley in the morning sunshine... in Sunshine.

Thanks, AlphaDeltaIndigo. A fun experience to begin the new month's Geocaching challenge.

FTF. It's been awhile since I have claimed a FTF. I was at work when the notification came through and I solved it straight away ( I have been doing this too long as I didn't need to look any up), when I finished work there was still no logs so off I went. My maths as very good as I found it straight away. I great little container that suits it's environment. Signed to log as the trains whizzed by. TFTC.
