We continued today our tour of several AUS states in the NorthWest and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to hatzofff for the generation of this nice cache playground gentlemen o' fortune' stash (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. Another great cache in a really good QOGM. I liked the fancy work in the cache and the sized container. An easy reach with the proper tools. Also for a cache almost in the heart of town it was surprisingly well secluded. For all those points you deserve a favourite point. TFTC.

Had an amazing time at the last QOGM event in Longreach. I feel honoured to be one of only a handful of cachers who has attended all five, although it does concern me that now I will have to plan my own September school holiday fun. This year I travelled up with Gcoven and we scooted along the bottom LGAs for her to collect and I was able to pick up the odd one here and there untilWe hit brand newies on offer in Longreach. During the course of the formal QOGM days we travelled and cached with chamad and Nathan & Alyce as part of our team signing under the collective name of Misfits. Along the way we had plenty of laughs and enjoyed hanging out with each other through the official social events and our own - generally at The Wellshot or at the Longreach Bakery. With the couple of quieter days on the agenda it allowed us time to get everything we wanted in town and even head further afield to Winton with feeling rushed at any point. It was great catching up with everyone some whom I had not seen since Barcaldine and of course the more regular cachers from home. Quite the turn out indeed. Thanks to the efforts of the QOGM team and Jimmy Project for helping to bring this all together.

Todays plan was to tidy up the remaining caches in and around Longreach township. Attend the flash mob event, which sounded like it was going to be fun. Then head off to do the Cito event in a very large open area.We managed to clean up everything on our list and I made it in time for the pathtag swap. Some of the team went on an evening train ride, which was from the return comments was fun. It was nice to have the Slow day just to regroup and reenergise before tomorrows huge event. All logs were signed as Misfits and replaced as found.

Find # 9105In Longreach for QOGM2023! Finally made it ??So much planning and work goes into organising this fabulous event and it is definitely worthwhile coming to the central west for the incredible caching adventure. On the trails to Isisford and Ilfracombe with some of the usual suspects ?? and it never ceases to amaze me the generosity of the caching community. A huge thanks for all the fun and shenanigans along the way. Great adventures were had in spite of the challenges, not all geocaching ones either, and we all enjoyed a good tale or two. This was a quick and easy find and ?? here at playground gentlemen o' fortune' stash GZ today. ?? Townsvilles contingent, burgo78 and myself went to locate as many caches as possible while out in Longreach for QOGM 2023. Paper logs have been signed either individually or as TSV#1s or similar Day 2 and the first muster out to Muttaburra. Picking up these on the way. The organisers had set up a forks multi, as well as the first series of the Flights of Fantasy Traditionals Another possible FTF but it wasnt to be. It seemed to be a nasty tree fish as it could not slide up off the branch. Luckily it could just be lifted up further. Good sized cache just before we went to the event. Thanks hatzofff for placing this Traditional for my geocaching enjoyment

QOGM 2023 Longreach Day 20. Longreach Day 3. Waiting till Lunch and then caching near Longreach. Fitzy_1965 and Albida33 are on our trip in early spring to Longreach. Having brought forward our arrival in Longreach to attend the Stonehenge trip yesterday, we had a day and a half to wait till the rest of our group assembled. We were happy to greet Gliss! & NibletRiceCakes soon after lunch and we wasted no time in loading up the cars for caching with some of the closer puzzles nearby town. We started signing CCx where x was different on each day depending on how many non-Canberran Cachers where on that day. Today we were Gliss!, NibletRiceCakes, Contesta, Cosmonaut97, Fitzy_1965 & albida33. We had a great days caching and managed to locate all the caches on the days list, even though we had a close call at one of them. There was enough time in the afternoon for a pub visit before heading to the show grounds for the opening dinner. A great day, can't wait for the next one. With a little application and some spare time with the information provided, we were very happy when our observations along quite a stretch of parrot lane gave us the cache to find and sign. Thanks for the cache hatzofff44317.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & The Melbourne Event 2015 Geocoin A#327**Albida**

Today most of the rest of the Canberra gang arrived, so once they settled we hit the road grabbing caches. First up we hunted down this as yet unpublished cache merely by some vague clues. We were very happy when we spotted it. We started signing CCn where n was different on each day depending on how many non-Canberran Cachers were in our group on that day. Today we were Gliss!, Nibletricecakes, Contesta, Cosmonaut97, albida33 and myself. We then replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks to all the COs for putting out these caches !!

After completing the Silsoe Rd caches, tronador and austpark and I had our essential coffee at Casey's. I was spoilt for choice as all their cakes were GF, a bounty indeed! As this cache was yet to be published, Tronador, who had found this cache earlier so showed us where it was. Austpark was very chuffed when his home made tree fishing pole had no problem getting the prize. Thanks hatzoff for the cache.
