Found today with maccamob, Muzza, Alansee, micaparamedic, Rabbitto, Mclookers and ThePacman. Day 2 and weather threatening. Thanks Ronice88
Found by Mary and David with the VIC1 group. Today we started with the Bon Accord track caches and several others around Harrietville. After lunch at the pub, we headed out of town to tyackle the F.L.A.K.E. cache, which we completed. We found few Trads and multis along the way, and finished the day with an Event at the Bright pub. Our thanks to Ronice88.
Chewinprickles, BettyBoo3747 and I decided upon today to try some of the F.L.A.K.E. puzzlesSo we loaded up the deadly treadlies and set off for Harrietville. We had solved them all when they first came out, but had not got around to look for them. We had to look at the puzzles again as so many of the hides were well themed.Nice puzzles and great hides for this series. The puzzle was certainly easy, but the searching... I looked in the wrong spot, but Chewin looked in the right spot.BB did her bit by getting the log out. Thanks, Robmc.
Ditched the car in favor of bicycles from now on. Had a very pleasant ride along the path grabbing these caches along the way. Thanks Ronice88
# 21644. The puzzle solver Robmc has had these done for a long time now. While the weather is still pleasant and with all the autumn colour in full force we decided to team up with Chewinprickles and have a nice ride and some harder walking to knock over this series.Took us a few goes to spy the hide, even with 3 pairs of eyes. Just looking in the wrong spot. Thanks Ronice88
After a lovely relaxing lunch by the river and a change of clothes as it was warming up, we set off for an arvo of caching admiring the beautiful surrounds at different points along the way. This was the next for the arvo and after looking elsewhere first we then found the cache. Not sure if this is Wheelchair Friendly though? It might be a bit of a stretch and a topple risk? I have short arms though, so maybe I'm not the right person to make that judgement lol TFTC Ronice88 - GJMMelb
Loving the difficulty on this one. One I can just solve. I was in the car and not on a bike. Added a little detour to find this. Nice one. Thanks for the cache.
Cant quite remember how I solved the puzzle, but spent too long near (but not quite at) GZ before looking over ahh there it is! Thanks Ronice for bringing me back up to the hills, Id forgotten the scent of the eucalypts and the sense of freedom thisGives.
After a couple of days walking out and staying overnight at federation Hut , Mt Feathertop with Purplepeopleater. We had a go at doing caches around Harrietville and surrounding areas. With Puzzles solved and traditional cached to get, it made for a busy day of easy and not so easy terrain ratings. I will be back another day to finish off some of the ones we missed. TFTCMCheers dkmacca
Down in the Victorian Highlands for a couple of days hiking and geocaching with DKMakka. Perfect weather and a welcome relief from the Sydney humidity.Solved the Flake Series in anticipation of our trip, and enjoyed the well themed and innovative puzzles. A lot of work has gone into the caches themselves and it was great to discover some monster size caches mixed into. An excellent series and loads of fun (and effort) Thanks Ronnice88, I will be back hopefully sooner than later to this wonderful area.SL TFTC

Found it! Out last day of adventuring in Harrietville and it was time to try a few FLAKE puzzles. With the walking trail easier myself and the Traveling Muggles set out for a morning walk. It is was lovely sunny morning. The cache was a quick find made by Muggle Heather. TFTC SL. Cache is in great condition.
Found at 10:02 AM GAFF1.When we see a 1.0/1.0 we usually look at each other and say "we are going to be in trouble finding this one aren't we"However we were fortunate to be able to find the micro due to good co-ords.Thanks to Ronice88
I was out with kbucky today to collect the majority of the SNOMO series. It was a beautiful day to be walking along the Bon Accord track. The numerous bird calls really added to the magical atmosphere of this lovely setting. We had a very busy day, walking over 13km's and then a quick bike ride along the Great Alpine road to collect some of the F.L.A.K.E series. It was a coincidence that I met a local woman hiking on the Bon Accord track and then I met her again, and her husband, on the bike trail as they were also riding. We were surprised to cross paths twice in the same day. This was the simplest of puzzles and so was the find.
The day was starting to get away from us after our grand afternoon out up her chatting at the event and picking up some of the pre-solved puzzle caches. These last 5 were solved by the Queen on the fly this afternoon and when we picked them up we were surprised that we were only second to find on them. Each one was found OK in a really cool spot.Loved the different containers that the CO puts out up here, better than a sistema thrown under a tree.
