Nice little pit stop. **SAFETY - If navigating using Maps, go in via the football entrance in the township, not the road to tocumwal. TFTC!!
What a great pleasure it is to find this one. I couldnt go past it. After all, that is one of the reasons I have my cache name magpies22. Tftc. A favourite from me
We walked to this one from the other with the kids. Nice sunny day. Quick find by the son. TFTC!
Out and about with omegaman, Happy feet and Happy Pants, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks Zinnia94 for the cache.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 181Sidetracked Cache Finds: 133Back in Shepparton after many years to bring some smiles to the map, catch up with old friends, and celebrate Happy Feet1's birthday. This is one of the caches we found this weekend.Cheers for the cache
Glad this was an easy one, as kerydn21 is a Collingwood fan and loves Sidebottom, and she said we arent leaving until we find it. I would have left her behind.
Well as a one eyed Collingwood supporter, and with Steele Sidebottom being my favourite player, this was definitely a must find cache for me. I said to my fellow caching buddy, I could not have left without finding this cache!!!! SL TFTC
Needing to fill a calendar spot today I thought I would head out to Congupna and try and find this one. After negotiating the water on the ground from last night's two inches of rain (see attached photo) it was a quick find at GZ. Sadly someone has shown total disrespect for Geocaching by almost destroying the log (see attached photo). Tried to rectify this so I could sign the log but might need replacing.Steele Sidebottom......What a player!!! Probably the best ever to come out of the Goulburn Valley. 319 games (as of 31/05/2024). 2nd only at Collingwood to the great Scott Pendlebury. Collingwood drafted him with pick 11 in the 2008 AFL Draft after he kicked 10 goals in the Under 18 TAC Cup Grand Final for the Murray Bushrangers. Collingwood supporters will forever remember his long range goal from outside 50 in the 2023 AFL Grand Final! (Brisbane supporters like myself will also not forget that goal). 2024 will probably be the last season we see this champion at AFL level but his memory will live on especially here in the Goulburn Valley. Thanks Zinnia94 for highlighting this local AFL legend by putting a cache at his original home ground (I always thought he was from Tallygaroopna but no!) Nice hide TFTC
One of the legends of the Collingwood football club, I found the log book out on the ground here so folded it back up to put it in the cacheOn the way home from the Capital Geobash Mega in the ACT, today I made my way from Corowa/Rutherglen to Kerang via Shepparton, I had no real plan today other than find a few caches for a challenge caches plus visit some places on the back roads I was yet to visit. Thanks for the cache
After over seven weeks on the road, I'm back home and slowly catching up on all my logging. This was a very long full-on day as we crossed the border from SA and had a lot of LGA's to tick off on our to-do list before eventually making our way across the states. The majority of caches we found were in great condition and well maintained, which is a credit to all the CO's who placed them. Our logs were signed as 5 for QLD to save room on the log sheets
Heading now across country collecting LGA's as we head across now to Canberra to the next Mega.Caching with and signing as the group 'Q6' and having a great day.TFTCache Zinnia94
We attended a Mega in Adelaide for Leap Year, and are now slowly making our way to Canberra for the Easter Mega. We called in here to find this cache as it ticks off another LGA for this state. We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. So, log signed and cache replace as found on 16th March, 2024. TFTC, Zinnia94.

Found with Bogonghazy whilst staying at Numurkah for a week. Thanks for placing the geocache
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. In Shepparton for a few days as we wend our way towards Canberra for the GeoBash. Today we decided to have a lazy day. With a late start, then back to the van for lunch before tootling off and tackling a few more. Mostly less traffic in the CBD due to Sunday but the Harvest festival was definitely drawing a crowd there. TFTC Zinnia94 [^]
I'm surprised this cache wasn't in Collingwood colours . very excited re the CO GC name starting with Z ...I finally qualify for a Z challenge I've been forever working on.
Reperio 12:02The youngest and I headed into Shepparton today from staying with family in Nathalia, and were looking to spend the day finding some local caches. I initially stopped roadside 2 days ago to walk across to GZ, but with so much water around, I wasnt prepared to trudge through to make the cache find. Today i came in from the oval side, and getting to GZ was much simpler.Gratias Zinnia94As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
While travelling through the area we stopped for a pit stop and couldn't go past a smile especially as the muggle in the car is a Pies fan TFTC and the fun
TFTC Zinnia94 your cache Steele Sidebottom that we found today. A great day to do a caching run in and around Shepparton. A reasonable day 10 finds and 3 that we could not locate. A couple of of missteps with the multis but we worked it out. Find Count: 17456
Found and signed with catnap777 to kept the streak alive. Day 209 of a cache a day and still going strong. [^]Great log babe. [:X] Sorry Zinnia, but until I read my partners post, I honestly knew nothing of the fellow this cache that cat' and I signed was named after. Wow! Legends walk among us .... even if they do play for bloody Collingwood. TFTC Zinnia94.
Cache found and log signed with dalerious . Steele, AKA Rusty and Bluescope.I would call him Real Steele .In 2023, Sidebottom played his 300th AFL game, becoming the 4th Collingwood player to ever do so. He injured his MCL and did not play until Round 18. Sidebottom later kicked a 60-meter bomb in the final to give Collingwood the premiership.Great tribute Zinnia94, even though I follow Geelong, I am by no means a one eyed supporter of anything. I believe everyone should be applauded for their efforts .Thank you for continuing to place out caches for the locals. It is very much appreciated .
Found at 4pm on the way to Cobram. That kick spoiled my Grand Final day! Go lions! Thanks Zinnia94
On our way to the Murray for a couple of nights camping, this stop was a must for Tom being a collingwood supporter. TFTC!

FTF @6:58am. At work when got the notifications of two new caches nearby. Unable to leave straight away, I had to bide my time while I got everyone sorted at work so I could disappear for 20mins. I decided it would be easier for me to head to Congupna, and once at GZ, I had cache in hand, and happy to sign a clean empty log sheet. Thanks for adding a cache in Sidebottoms honour. Being a Carlton supporter I naturally dont like Collingwood players, but Sidey is a gun. He played a huge role in Collingwoods win over Brisbane in the Grand Final, that goal he kicked from outside 50m, it was the sealer in the end. Steele is a champion AFL player! A fave point given for dedicating a cache the a local AFL champion, and plus I got a FTF on a day I need to find for the cache calender. TFTC Zinnia94
