Logs
Came by and tried to find the cache again but it doesnt look like its there anymore
Only had time for a short search today. Always thought this was a pedestrian bridge, seeing a car drive through it i was appalled at first! But then realised my error. Thanks
24 June 2024 at 11:14am Thankyou. The log is very full. Signes as APTFTC IbisGuy
Ninth of ten cache finds today with one AL (5 locations) and just one DNF. On a day out with Graubunden, my geospouse. Hint made an instantaneous find. Lovely koala art nearby. Time to head off, one more left. TFTC IbisGuy
An interesting walk through Meadowbaank this afternoon. Tons of new residences and clearly more to come. A neat little cache at another interesting spot. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Love the near by Sculpture. Took us a bit of searching but persistence paid off TFTC
It's great to convert a dnf to a smiley today. With the barriers removed, I found the cache almost instantly, quickly signed the log, and replaced it as found. Tftc.
Nope, no idea, there are still barriers, loads of mud on the railings, and hard to know what had recently been installed and what is original. The bridge is open and drivable, but still construction is going on around. Vegetation is overgrown.
A dnf for now, after leaving, I received a good hint from a previous finder and reading the last log, it would appear I have to go over the barrier, I shall return soon.
A PAF guided me to the cache spot, which was just behind the barricades, thanks.
I dont know if its in the koala or not. Ive been looking for a while.
Our regular Sunday public transport caching options were limited today due to the weekend closure of the T1/T9 line between Hornsby & Wynyard, so we caught a 280 bus to Chatswood and a Metro train to Epping rail interchange, then hopped on a T9 train to Meadowbank for a SideTracked MultiCache, an Adventure Lab stage, and a Traditional cache. Then it was back onto a T9 train to Strathfield for a MultiCache and a Mystery challenge cache. The return journey was via T9 train to Epping, Metro train to Chatswood, and 280 bus back to home. This was the 3rd of 5 finds for the day. After completing the Meadowbank SideTracked MultiCache, and then grabbing an Adventure Lab stage, this was the next cache we came to. And while I was busy checking in all the wrong spots, the family's chief puzzle solver was busy finding the cache in the correct spot. TNLNSL, and then replaced the familiar bit of camo as it had been found. Now it's back to Meadowbank Railway Station to catch a train to Strathfield to continue our caching adventures. Easy find on this hot and humid day. Very similar to the one I found here some time ago. Scenery has changed a bit.TFTC
Find #: 3,423Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Grey summer morningCache condition: GoodI decided to go for a jog 'n cache around Meadowbank, starting at this cache. I recognised the area from a previous archived cache (GC2VB6H for those playing at home) - still narrow! With CIH I TNLNSL then started my jog - TFTC
#13126 15:14It was very nice to see this little bridge in an overdeveloped area. The cache was found after a short search TFTC IbisGuy
A striong sense of Deja Vu here. I'm sure I'd made a find here years ago. Parked near the impressive sandstone mansion and wandered down for a quick find with MP. Thanks IbisGuy.
Nice bit of history here, lovely houses and structures surrounded by unfortunately ugly high rise.I lived nearby many years ago, before the crowding, my how the area has changed. Thanks for the cache IbisGuy
I was a bit worried with the traffic with this one but got it. 1st signature on the back of the log sheet. TFTC ibisguy
In the area doing the AL. I found one here years ago. Once I got close enough to GZ I spotted the cache.
A quick park and grab at the bridge that caters for everything. Parked outside a very old stone house at the other end of the bridge. TFTC
A quick find after heading to right area. After finding a muggle came up to us asking what we doing. He knew about geocaching and we had a nice chat before parting. TFTC
#62 found with GHHH Nice muggle asked what we were doing and we filled him in TFTC

Streak Day #3799 - Out with Dave8153 for our cache of the day. Quick find for us today. TFTC
I often used to walk along the foreshore of the Parramatta River just south of this bridge with my geodog. That was before I started geocaching. These days with caches to find all over the city I rarely come here and poor geodog doesn't get as many walks. I remember a previous cache on this bridge, it was a mint tin so this one is a much improved version! Today I organised my activities so I could come to Meadowbank this afternoon. It probably wasn't the best timing as the primary school about 100m away was just coming out when I arrived but I was lucky and managed a 15 minute parking spot outside the school and hoped it would be long enough. I joined the hoardes of mini muggles all walking across the bridge, remarkably 90% unaccompanied by an adult. I spotted the cache as I walked and was able to grab it as I passed. I stopped nearby and signed the log. The school crowd had passed so I walked back alone eplacing the cache as I went.15 minutes was way more time than I needed.TFTC # 5679
Went on a longish walk from Mortlake so pleased that this wasnt a fruitless trip. Tftc

Out for an early cycle to Meadowbank. Intended to make this new one my turnaround point but then realised there were a couple unfound nearby so on I went. Nice little bridge, quick find here, like these type, needed basic TOTT to extract log. Thanks for placing this cache IbisGuy #2183
Last time I was out this way, this was an industrial area. How it's changed! Cache found easily in between passing muggles.
Out for a little cache run in the area collecting a few caches we have in our solved list plus a couple of extra traditionals and multis. Meet up with some of the team and after a short search found the container. With the cache in hand, we signed the log, then replaced as found. Second find of the day! Took me a while to find, but I'm new at thisHad never walked that path before, there's a beautiful mozaic art on the stairs leading to the foot path if you're coming from the station
Enjoyed search and spotted it - signed the log and thank you for the cache and hunt.
Passing through underneath, thus it was 2 x turn rights and Im there. Cars dont seem to slow down to the required 10km/hr, so be careful. CIH quickly and away
#5824Thought I'd grab this new cache while I was cycling in the area. It didn't take long to find the cache itself but extracting the log did take some effort. I tried some twigs but couldn't seem to budge it. In the end, I just banged it on a hard surface a few times and the log popped out. Glad to have my name on the log. Love the nearby koala. Thanks for the geofun IbisGuy.
A quick find once we found a good parking spot. The cops parked nearby had other things on their mind. Sneakily replaced as we headed back to the car over the bridge. TFTC
Found It!Got my hands on this one after a bit of searching around. Nice little bridge and reminder of the history here.TFTC
Spotted today's publishing and noticed one close by - and near a previous find. Thought I'd go for it and was soon walking to GZ.Lots of cars driving past and muggles walking past, but I spotted it on my first walk past so it was a quick grab during a break in the passing parade.Took it a short distance to complete signing duties.
