I did my usual trick when caching from the airport of catching the park and ride bus close to here - works brilliantly. Very nice spot - looks like a perfect wedding venue. Quite an ingenious cache container too. Struck it lucky with the rain because it stopped as the bus pulled in and started again when I was on another bus out. Perfect! TFTC # 22,186

Needed to get our adventuring today. None of the family wanted to join so I just got in the car and started following the icons on the map! Tried to navigate to this one and ended up on the wrong road because I hadnt looked closely enough at the mapdoh! Corrected and soon had the cache in hand. Not sure Ive seen a saddle version before. Thanks for the cache.

Down here to collect GeohoundandI but her flight has been delayed, probably her heavy hand luggage, so I left Daddypig in the carpark at Countdown and walked down here. Quick easy find then off to sit right at the front by the doors to give her a massive embarrassing mum hug as soon as she appears.

Happened to be in the area with junior cacher to drop off a puppy to the airport to start it's formal training .....when this cache was published.....had an idea that it might be popular to the FTF hunters, but given the publication time of day, clearly made it unappealing....lucky for me it was still available, unfound, after my 3 hour meeting/drop off, so we loaded up and headed to a close parking spot...100m walk with junior cacher in his wheelchair, and GZ presented itself.....had an idea of what to search for, and sure enough there it was....now, was it still unsigned....yussss, a blank log presented itself. Thanks for bringing us here...never knew this place was here....TFTC{FTF} #233Razz

?? Not claiming ftf here, but happily claiming a smiley as I was with the C.O on placement, as were 3 others. We had attended the event put out by our 2 Dutch visitors 00pie - Hans and TravelSer - Serv. There was supernanny, Net61, G-2, and sharkbait2013 who showed up and so while we 4some went to a cache called Pond, an idea came up by G-2 to place a cache by this church, an appropriate spot was chosen, and Glyn just happened to have his San Frans' with him and so that was that.???? But while sitting down on the concrete plinth of the revolving thingy, I happened to walk away leaving my backpack on it, it wasn't until we had all walked away a good 200m when supernanny asked me: Gorby.... "Where's your backpack".... I suddenly remembered where I left it but it was Ethan who volunteered to run back and get it for me, thanks Ethan! ?????? So we investigated the sculpture if you call it that, the swinging pinball arms, very unusual, then gently wandered back to our vehicles and called it a day, thanks G for placing.

As Gorby has said....a group of us had attended a great Event held by two lovely gentlemen from the Netherlands earlier. After that was over, Net61 mentioned she had 3 old caches still to get in the area . We all wandered up to the area where " Pond " cache access is ....and some of the group helped Jan locate it , as it is now terribly overgrown. Afterwards, G-2 , Gorby , Net61, Sharkbait 25 and myself had a walk around the Estate....admiring and investigating all the unusual outdoor Sculptures .Luckily G-2 had a very suitable container on him , and proceeded to place a new Geocache nearby. So we are all able to claim a smiley by being there on Glyn's placement ; now that the FTF has been and gone. Great area to bring people to!Thanks guys for the fun.....

M25: attended a meet-and-greet event nearby, two guys from Netherlands exploring New Zealand for the first time. Hope it goes well. After that, me and Net61 went over to a cache that I already found, so I was pretty much the "tour guide" around the terrain I already knew. While that was going on, Gorby, Supernanny and G-2 were at the location of placing a new cache. Placement makes a nice location, too. Claiming a smiley to add to the list, thanks G-2 for the cache.

After attending a nearby event....was with Gorby and G-2 on placement. Very interesting place.
