Walked straight to this one. On the way caught sight of a blue tongue sunning away. Tftc
Parked on the side of the road and walked over to this one, made a quick find after spotting the container as I walked up to it, cache is all goodToday with an event and CITO both in Aberfoyle Park, I headed down for the day to find some of the newer caches to be published in the surrounding areas plus attend the two events, with the rain starting to fall I decided to head home and leave the last few for another day. Thanks for the cache
Hi.I hadnt been geocaching for a while but have been grabbing some in Canada and Alaska during my holiday over the last few weeks. I now have renewed enthusiasm. When I started geocaching fifteen years ago there were only a handful in the Happy Valley area. I had grabbed most of them. Now there are hundreds. Time to collect some more. The cache container was not particularly well hidden and easy to find. Nice large ish container. I have hidden it better where I found it. I like this one and might visit again with some trackables and goodies to fill the container? The cache is in good condition.TFTCFilmore.
It's always a pity when trees are felled down for no apparent reason. Thanks marvin277.
Found with Mogni. I have 34 days left with 11 finds on a calendar day out of 366. Just came to get a cache or two to get closer to 15 caches in every calendar day. I had a cache in this bush land it was a " mini maker style fake bird " in a nest. After 3 years a local bird decided to claim the nest mini maker made and kept evicting the fake bird ( cache ). quick find.
Found during a foray in the southern suburbs, concentrating on the areas around Morphett Vale, Reynella and Flagstaff Hill. Thanks for the cache marvin277!
On way home from first Christmas celebration for the year... easy one fir kids.. tftc
Swung by here at ridiculous hours after work in the dark but luckily located quickly.TFTC
Having grown up and lived in the area as an adult too, for a long time, I can hardly remember the forest!Quick find on my way past.TNLNSL Thanks
Tuesday trekking turned in to a Wednesday Wander, for the dynamic duo.Ttrogg picked the Rat up from the Rat's nest.We then headed for the hills and beyond. We came, we parked the Geo mobile. Then took a gentle stroll to GZ.A quick find at GZ, for the dynamic duo. Tftc
After picking up the Rat from her nest it was a Wednesday Wander in a southerly direction to see what we could find. Caches found were mainly traditionals with a few multis thrown in for a bit of variety. It would seem that the sat. nav. doesn't know about gated communities and wanted us on the wrong side of the fence. Worked out where to park and after a short walk the Rat made quick work of finding the cache. Thanks to marvin277 for placing this cache on our playing field.Cache #14191 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Cant wait!!****
After an early morning event I joined Team Waldron to find a few caches before heading home. After reading the hint the hide was soon spotted and the cache retrieved. Thanks for the cache marvin277.
After the early morning event I called by this one with JJ52.She quickly spotted the cache.TFTC
Does the traffic ever stop here. The cars go broom.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Count down: less than half a year to go.Have you got the balls to geocache in South Australia...
I rocked up across the road and traffic cleared not long after, so I crossed and once at GZ, the cache was found in the first place checked.I signed the log and returned the cache. While waiting to cross the road back to the carn AnyMules and Trigger_Fish showed up. It was a pleasure to see them again. A nice chat followed and eventually, we went our separate ways. It's good to see a new cache out this way and more from this CO.I love the custom sticker on the container. Nice work. Thanks marvin277 for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3833 on the 18th of November 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Bumped in to Goldy on our way to this one so stopped for a chat. A quick find at GZ. I found your D1.5/T1.5 Small Traditional called Behind The Fence... on 18 November 2023. It was find #18635 for me. Thank you marvin277 for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of South Australia.
I saw the email last night but I was already in my pjs haha.Took the dog for a slow walk to GZ and found it this morning. Im glad the grass is shorter as I have seen enough slithery friends this year! Thanks for placing this cache close to home.
FTF at 957pm tonight. I saw this new cache pop up while I was at SES training, so when training finished I made a slight diversion on the way home and found a blank logbook! Accurate coords here, and happy to see the council has whippersnippered the grass too. Thanks for the hide!
