Hopped down to the level of the storm water drain. Interesting that it's not a straight tunnel, but has a weir to reduce the flow. The cache was soon spotted from this vantage. TFTC!

Once down at the correct spot it was a matter of elimination to find the new cache, thanks.

After the requests for maintenance, we went down to GZ to fix the cache up. The bottom of the cache was completely missing and its hiding spot was completely exposed from when first hid it back in November. So, we picked a slightly new location but still extremely close to its original coords, so it does not need updating. As well, as a whole new container was replaced now being slightly bigger but still small enough to be classifed as a micro. Finally the new location is slightly harder to access and more difficult so the D and T ratings have been increased a lot. Otherwise, keep caching, good luck!!

#10111 (1 of 5 today)Unfortunately, I'm busy later today and can't make the GCNSW Christmas Party - I've lost yet another chance to lose the mint tin toss!So I headed out in the morning to grab some finds. I decided on the first five of the *Burnt Bridge Creek* series. Those will do nicely! What's even better was I found all five without needing to resort to a PAF - although I was sorely tempted once or twice.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Started at, erm, the start. And, of course the muggles in the house next to the hide came home just as I parked.Still, a nice quick find. Kept me head low, signed, replaced and away.I don't think they noticed me.SLTNLNTFTC

Logging a few weeks after our pleasant walk along Burnt Bridge Creek. This was our last of the day and a tricky devil it was too. Oh no, Mrs Gaztek dropped the lid and it was another tough search to find the lid in the grass. Relief! Nice hide. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Second trip to North Balgowlah in 10 days!I wasn't aware that the Burnt Bridge Creek walking track went this far. The sign says it is 4km in total. I've only walked at the other end.I had planned to bring my geodog for a good walk but with the storm last night I decided this morning that it may be too wet and muddy for him as his legs are short. Turned out to be a good decision as even at this point it looked like quite a lot of debris had washed down and along parts of the track. I parked the geomobile in Clontarf Street and walked to the track. This was the easiest and quickest find of the day.I'm 3rd name on the logsheet so I'm 3TF - you have to have signed the log inside the container to claim a find, not just visited the area so one of the online logs is not a real find. After this find I set off on my walk. It's a pleasant walk, typical of many around Sydney.TFTC # 5672

Got ready for a doctors appointment this morning only to realise that it wasn't until tomorrow so I decided that some caching might be what the doctor would prescibe. This new PT looked like it might be fun and it was. Starting at #1 I made my way through to #5.The phone wanted me to go to a place that I didn't want to go, so common logic was applied and it was CIH. TFTC DajakeBoy

FTF @ 9:08 am 13/11/2023.We noticed a whole bunch of local caches being published late yesterday afternoon, but it was too late for us to head out caching, having only just returned home from a weekend caching holiday at Camden, with a stop-off at Sydney Olympic Park for the Geocaching NSW GIFF Event. The caches were all still unfound this morning so, after geoson#2 drop-off duties, we grabbed the geocaching gear and headed off to try our luck. Started with the Burnt Bridge Creek series, then crossed the Spit Bridge to Beauty Point for the street library cache, and finished off on the cliffs at Curl Curl for one of the GHHH MultiCaches. Ran out of time for the other GHHH MultiCache, as we had to return home to give geoson#1 a lift to work, so that one will have to wait for another day. This was the 1st of 8 finds, and 1st of 8 FTFs ( a FTF bonanza ! ), for today. This was our first cache target, and a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. Opened up the container to find a blank log, which was duly signed as FTF, and then replaced as found. TNLN. Left the geomobile parked here and headed off walking along the track to the next cache in the series. TFTC DaJakeBoy.Find #6475
