No luck with this one today.

I was annoyed by a nearby barking dog, plus the fact I couldn't see the cache anywhere frustrated me no end, even with a photo sent to me by a previous finder.... Oh well.

Came to the area for the new one and decided to pick up a few more. Headed down the creek to the next one only to pass a giant turkey mound on the side. Once at GZ a bit of monkey work and the log was soon signed. TFTC

#10112 (2 of 5 today)Unfortunately, I'm busy later today and can't make the GCNSW Christmas Party - I've lost yet another chance to lose the mint tin toss!So I headed out in the morning to grab some finds. I decided on the first five of the *Burnt Bridge Creek* series. Those will do nicely! What's even better was I found all five without needing to resort to a PAF - although I was sorely tempted once or twice.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Can I say first up that in the field I only worked out one of the anagrams. Sigh. But a wander, coords that seemed to point at one spot and finally widening my field of vision. Oh, it's there. But how to retrieve?Managed it with a natural TOTT.Added my ink to the log, replaced and on my way.SLTNLNTFTC

After #1, we continued on to #2. Searched around a bit before the cache was spotted in a location that possibly could justify the T portion of the D/T rating.

We made sense of the hint, but wasted time searching in there until it was seen in plain sight. Nice walkway, by the creek. TFTC

Logging a few weeks after our pleasant walk along Burnt Bridge Creek. On our way back to the start of the track after bypassing this spot originally and then returning. This was hidden really right in front of our faces but we still took a while to spot it. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

3TF again. This was a much more challenging hide. Even with a small number of finders a geotrail is beginning to form - not that that helped. I thought one particular location looked promising but the GPS wanted me somewhere else so I gave my location a give look over with no success then went over to the spot the GPS liked. That wasn't successful either so I returned to the original spot and noticed the GPS now liked it. I could not make anything of the hint and it wasn't till I was on the return walk, tossing ideas around in my head that the penny dropped. Yes, that's true! After a long hunt I finally spotted the sneaky hide. Getting the cache was tricky but replacing it turned out to be very quick! I did not expect that. TFTC # 5673

Got ready for a doctors appointment this morning only to realise that it wasn't until tomorrow so I decided that some caching might be what the doctor would prescibe. This new PT looked like it might be fun and it was. Starting at #1 I made my way through to #5.The phone had me going one way then another under the trees but my gut feeling had me circling one particular tree which after a while proved fruitful. Retrieving the cache proved easier than finding. TFTC DajakeBoy

FTF @ 9:16 am 13/11/2023.We noticed a whole bunch of local caches being published late yesterday afternoon, but it was too late for us to head out caching, having only just returned home from a weekend caching holiday at Camden, with a stop-off at Sydney Olympic Park for the Geocaching NSW GIFF Event. The caches were all still unfound this morning so, after geoson#2 drop-off duties, we grabbed the geocaching gear and headed off to try our luck. Started with the Burnt Bridge Creek series, then crossed the Spit Bridge to Beauty Point for the street library cache, and finished off on the cliffs at Curl Curl for one of the GHHH MultiCaches. Ran out of time for the other GHHH MultiCache, as we had to return home to give geoson#1 a lift to work, so that one will have to wait for another day. This was the 2nd of 8 finds, and 2nd of 8 FTFs ( a FTF bonanza ! ), for today. This one was next, as we followed the track beside the creek, and it was another nice quick find on arrival at GZ. Opened up the container to find another blank log, which was duly signed as FTF, and then replaced as found. TNLN. There's a nice Birds Nest fern, and a big Staghorn, growing here.
