After two calls to some pafs I came back for an easy find, how did I miss it the first time! Thanks.
1at attempt a couple of months ago aborted due to high muggle activity. Found easily this time. TFTC!
#10115 (5 of 5 today)Unfortunately, I'm busy later today and can't make the GCNSW Christmas Party - I've lost yet another chance to lose the mint tin toss!So I headed out in the morning to grab some finds. I decided on the first five of the *Burnt Bridge Creek* series. Those will do nicely! What's even better was I found all five without needing to resort to a PAF - although I was sorely tempted once or twice.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###So, checked the hint in case of any more prohibitions like the one in* #4*. There were none, but I finally managed to work out the anagram. HUZZAH!As a result, a quick find, sign and replace.Time to head home.SLTNLNTFTC
Last cache for today, before heading home to have a swim in the pool. Agree with some previous finder, that the location was not spot on with its coordinates, even though maybe not 12 m off.
After the following mentions on the coordinates being a bit off. Im just going to address that it was done on purpose because of the easy hide, as well as encouraging people to work out the anagram to make the cache more fun. On another note, thanks to everyone who is finding my caches, GOOD LUCK!!
The pin drop had us about 12m away. After working out the hint, we expanded our search at the objects until the little sucker was found. TFTC
Lovin the anagrams. Not the container I expected. Forgot to bring my 'Revolutionary Revolutionary"! OCW Brewmaker. TFTC
#12989 18:00A bit of afternoon caching in Seaforth for this new series. A nice walk with some challenging find. TFTC DaJakeBoy.
Logging a few weeks after our pleasant walk along Burnt Bridge Creek. On the Saturday we walked here we started at the #1 end and stopped in this order, 3,4,5, 2,1. After a tough DNF at number 4, we thought this was going to happen again here. We looked everywhere. Well at least until we found it in a much easier place to reach than where we were looking. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Continuing the walk along the creek I reached the spot to cross the road. I realised it was school's out time as a stream of mini muggles came swarming down the street. I decided I'd walk on and try and find one more hide but I wasn't so hopeful. Not many came along the creek path which was lucky.By now I'd worked out how to crack those cryptic hints and as I approached GZ I saw what I was looking for, hopefully hiding the cache. Luckily a few birds came through which gave me something to "look at" while the muggles passed. Once they were gone I checked a likely spot, hmm, not the right place. I checked another similar spot and spied the cache. With the streets now full of school muggles this was my last find for the day.I'll come back another time for #6, hopefully there'll be more caches in this area by then.I enjoyed the walk. I've found another place you can walk your geodog when you're not scrambling around looking for caches.TFTC # 5676
Even with the decoded hint it was still a while before we located the sneaky hide. I needed my revolutionary revolutionary for this one, if I had one!TFTC
Got ready for a doctors appointment this morning only to realise that it wasn't until tomorrow so I decided that some caching might be what the doctor would prescibe. This new PT looked like it might be fun and it was. Starting at #1 I made my way through to #5. Once I had worked out the hint it was soon CIH - of course I started at the wrong end. TFTC DajakeBoy and I'll be back for #6 sometime.
FTF @ 9:51 am 13/11/2023.We noticed a whole bunch of local caches being published late yesterday afternoon, but it was too late for us to head out caching, having only just returned home from a weekend caching holiday at Camden, with a stop-off at Sydney Olympic Park for the Geocaching NSW GIFF Event. The caches were all still unfound this morning so, after geoson#2 drop-off duties, we grabbed the geocaching gear and headed off to try our luck. Started with the Burnt Bridge Creek series, then crossed the Spit Bridge to Beauty Point for the street library cache, and finished off on the cliffs at Curl Curl for one of the GHHH MultiCaches. Ran out of time for the other GHHH MultiCache, as we had to return home to give geoson#1 a lift to work, so that one will have to wait for another day. This was the 4th of 8 finds, and 4th of 8 FTFs ( a FTF bonanza ! ), for today. We stopped briefly at #4 and had a look, but failed to find it quickly, so left it for a better (and potentially longer) look on the return walk back to the geomobile. So with #4 temporarily on hold, this one was next along the pathway, and it was another nice quick find on arrival at GZ. Opened up the container to find another blank log, which was duly signed as FTF, and then replaced as found. TNLN. TFTC DaJakeBoy.Find #6478
