#10194 (2 of 3 today)Headed out to the northern beaches for some finds today before tonights Sixers game at the SCG. Had trouble with one, no trouble with another and a systematic search at the third. And home in plenty of time to head back out.But that humidity is killing me!###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION ###Actually looked for *#7* first but spotted nothing. Gave it up and continued on to this one - under the flying foxes a number of which were trying to cool the, selves by flapping their wings.Near GZ I spotted a tent - I assume a homeless person. Found a way towards GZ and started the search along with the bush Turkey. The app was being a bit flakey under the trees, so I methodically checked a number of spots. After 15 minutes I got to the right location and spotted the cache.Made the grab, added my ink to the log and replaced. Then tried wiping the dirt off. Not so successful there.Took the quick exit and back to the multi.SLTNLNTFTC
Time to complete this series. I've done this walk many times with my geodog and with friends. It's interesting but noisy.I've also found caches in different spots along the way.Today I started from the locked gate, which is easy to get round. After some muggles passed I descended down towards the creek sort of checking likely spots as I went. With no luck after more than 15 minutes I resorted to PAF. I then knew which level I should be on. Checked where I first started but couldn't see anything because of the sun in my eyes. This time I felt it.TFTC # 5706
Stopped by to do some checking following the lack of finds, the cache, all was good, I even think even more hidden from when I placed it a few weeks back. Good luck!!
Coords were having us all over the place. Investigated all the big prominent caves but then found the cache in a little crack a bit away. Singed log. TFTC
FTF @ 10:13 am 13/11/2023.We noticed a whole bunch of local caches being published late yesterday afternoon, but it was too late for us to head out caching, having only just returned home from a weekend caching holiday at Camden, with a stop-off at Sydney Olympic Park for the Geocaching NSW GIFF Event. The caches were all still unfound this morning so, after geoson#2 drop-off duties, we grabbed the geocaching gear and headed off to try our luck. Started with the Burnt Bridge Creek series, then crossed the Spit Bridge to Beauty Point for the street library cache, and finished off on the cliffs at Curl Curl for one of the GHHH MultiCaches. Ran out of time for the other GHHH MultiCache, as we had to return home to give geoson#1 a lift to work, so that one will have to wait for another day. This was the 5th of 8 finds, and 5th of 8 FTFs ( a FTF bonanza ! ), for today. This one was next along the pathway, and it was a longer distance from the others. Followed the pedestrian underpass down under the Burnt Creek Deviation roadway, then past the weir, and eventually arrived at GZ. Spent much longer looking for this one than the others, but the family's chief puzzle solver eventually spotted the hide and had CIH. Opened up the container to find yet another blank log, which was duly signed as FTF, and then replaced as found. TNLN. Now to backtrack along the pathway to #4 for another look at that one.
