A quick find. A neighbour approached me and asked what I was doing. I told her about geocaching as she has children and was getting concerned about the "suspicious activity" since the cache was published.

TFTC,Out to get 12 caches (10 today) for the Solstice Souvenir challenge between 17th and 23rd December.Went the wrong way and after crossing the barrier decided to turn back and go the correct way. Had a fall on the way in over my own feet but eventually after some time at GZ found the correct elevation and the cache. As suburban caches go, this one gets a favorite and visited trackables.

17-Dec-23
Signed both logs, while out picking a few local caches with wazza9. Got the info required, thanks to CO.

#10100 (3 of 6 today)Thought I'd head down to The Shire today for a little caching goodness. While driving received a PAF, but didn't answer it until I got to my first target. Ironically it was a cacher who had only been caching in this area a few days ago.Principally targeted the *Oyster Bay Duck* series. Is that Duck with Oyster sauce or Oyster with Duck sauce? Except at my first target don't think I spotted and oysters. And I certainly didn't spot and ducks.Very hot out today, and this little black duck doesn't cope with the heat well. On my way home the car was registering 38 degrees and my iPhone shut down because it was too hot! Amazingly, I got everything I went for - as I was almost shutting down in the heat!###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Had to do some extra wandering as a muggle living close to GZ was starting to pay some attention to me. Thankfully he got a phone call and I managed to make the grab when he was out of sight.Took it well away to complete signing duties and just as I do he walks past on the other side of the road with his dog. Which allowed me to replace it and head to the next one unseen.Future finders be very aware of muggle eyes...SLTNLNTFTC

Working my way round the duck.I think it's just a bit of luck and good imagination by the CO!This was my second stop after tricky navigation with signage directing me away from where I wanted to go. So I had a bit of a walk to GZ which enabled me to assess the layout and the closeness of the surrounding houses. The hint meant nothing to me but l'd decided where the cache was likely to be and there it was. After last night's monster storm the container was quite wet but everything inside was dry.TFTC # 5690

Well this one wasn't too bad at all- there was a concrete truck blocking nearby access which actually meant I could park right at GZ, and made a fairly quick find. TFTC!

28-Nov-23
This one took a lot longer than it needed to GPS wanted me in the middle of the street, but I knew from the first part of the clue what the goal was; took me a while to look up what the Gary clue meant but when I did I then knew where to look and cache was soon in hand Signed the log inside the nano, took note of the numbers for the mystery cache and replaced as found; TFTC!

I managed to find a safe parking place not far from GZ and walked over to search. After checking a couple of likely places I saw a familiar container then logged my find. Thanks for a good hide.

[FTF] @ 1630 with GeodogZelda. When these OBD series were published, I was at Southgate Shops. Once home, GDZ said we should go for the LegoLads first hides. At least they can't get FTF on their own hides!I opted to park across the road and walk 50m, rather than directly on top of GZ. With some potential muggles in the nearby homes, I discretely sat down and reached in to have CIH. As I opened the cache lid, something fell into the leaf litter, which was the cache and log of course. A short search soon unearthed it, and I could add our names to the log. Back in place and onto the next one, #4. TFTC
