We managed to solve the puzzle some time ago so it was good to search for it today. Wandered round a few likely places for a while before we found the well-concealed cache. After plenty of rain overnight, today started warm and humid, but then the rain returned again with very heavy showers. We spent out time dodging these showers but got it wrong a couple of times and got very wet. Still managed to find a few caches all the same as we make our way back home in differing ways each time.Family matters have brought us to Melbourne for a period of time yet to be determined. As we spend time here however it gives us the opportunity for some caching in areas we would not usually get to.We chased a wide variety of caches and Labs with some great puzzles and Labs in some beautiful spring weather.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Kristysadventures.**SKI Pair****
Found with icw. I solved this puzzle many months ago and was waiting to be in the vicinity for collection. Lots of muggles were wandering around, most with a canine in tow, but they paid no attention to what we were doing. Tftc.
After solving the xword and set off to collect my motorcycle boots from the repairer (broken zip) and we took the opportunity to walk to the cache in a nearby park. Solved quickly, TFTC and puzzle.
Made my way through the quiet park today to find dog circling around grand zero, who came up and gave me a big lick all down my sideWith wet pants, I found the Geo cache intact and no maintenance required
One of two lunchtime finds today, since I was working from home and needed to get out for a bit of exercise.I reckon this might be the third cache I've found at this particular location, since first starting geocaching in 2013, as old caches get retired and new ones are created. An easy find (after a quick but fun crossword) although the huntsman that swarmed out from behind the container as I retrieved it was not so thrilled with my disturbance. Signed the log, thanks for the cache and the puzzle, and indeed the adventure, Kristysadventures!
I had an appointment in the area today and after I finished up, it was just too nice of weather to go home straight away. So I figured I'd try and grab a cache or two hidden by one of my all time favourite COs, [Kristysadventures](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=2025b6ac-6591-4990-a921-bd242af298ea&wid=4b8a26d7-5316-4e4e-9bba-f64ea2b4f23a&ds=2).Well I needed to find a mystery cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [ahomburg's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=2ea93f43-d6fb-4f7e-938a-bacef589ab2c&ds=2) challenge cache, [WCW - Almost a Complete Mystery Challenge (GC9Z59N)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59N) and so this one quickly became one of the targets for the day. My original plan was to try and find this cache when I attended the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=2025b6ac-6591-4990-a921-bd242af298ea&wid=4b8a26d7-5316-4e4e-9bba-f64ea2b4f23a&ds=2) event, [366 and no longer counting! (GCAGM6Q)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCAGM6Q), however due unforeseeable circumstances the event never went ahead.Well that was almost a year ago, but I still remember having alot of fun solving this puzzle. Not to easy and not to hard. I remember being able to solve most of the crossword on my own, but I did have to do a bit of googling to finish it off.Well today was finally the day that I got out and found this one. So after my appointment I headed over to the [recommended parking coordinates](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=28704dc6-acde-4b17-8199-b27705a529e2&RefID=4b8a26d7-5316-4e4e-9bba-f64ea2b4f23a&RefDS=1) before continuing on over to GZ by foot. With the weather today being absolutely perfect, it was amazing to get out in a bit of fresh air and I loved the walk through the park to GZ.Once I was near GZ my phone homed in on a logical beacon and after a short search the cache was in hand and the logbook signed. So a big thanks goes to [Kristysadventures](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=2025b6ac-6591-4990-a921-bd242af298ea&wid=4b8a26d7-5316-4e4e-9bba-f64ea2b4f23a&ds=2) for all the fun today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status:**The cache container was in good shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
I was nearby checking on a couple of my caches and saw that this one was nearby. I did the crossword back when the cache was released, but this was the first time I came looking. I've been to this park several times for caching and socialising, so it was quite familiar to me. There was a dog walker near GZ, but they were walking away and had no idea I was there. Found the cache nice and quickly - all is in good order. Thanks to Kristysadventures for the puzzle and the cache.
I may not have safety first in my mind, but it is usually on my mind somewhere when geocaching. Even if it is "boy, that was dumb and not safe." After today's plans had changed, it meant no Friday night caching run. However, I still needed a geocache for today for a challenge I am working on. As such, I went for a quick geocache early. Great morning for it, too, with in being already over 16 degrees at 7 am on this lovely winter morning. The lovely area meant a quick find after some dog walkers passed. Thanks for the cache, Kristys Adventures.Hunter
Had worked this one out a few months ago. Since Kristyadventures had found a few of my Phillip island caches ,time to claim this one close to home and get some cosmic energy and probable souvenir. Mm safety first at night. Take a torch , ,use the paths and watch not to walk into branches ( especially the eyes !) Went around and around in circles for a bit at GZ. Read the hint and found the cache tucked away nicely. Beastly plastic bag to open but a dry log that now contains my name. Not including Adventure labs. Think this is my 1500 cache. Thanks for the puzzle /crossword and the cache. Photo appears at the start of opening my geocaching app on my phone. - appropriate.
I happened to be in the area helping a mate out on a nearby building site this morning,As I was finished early, I took a look at c:geo to see what caches were nearby. This one was solved on 6th December '23 but still sitting here awaiting a visit,A short walk followed by an even shorter search soon had the cache in hand.Thank you to [Kristysadventures](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?id=26084827) for the puzzle, the cache and the walk in the park.
Today called for a day of caching and so I ventured out with one half of Earthbound Chief to find the closest unfound caches to where we live. We got lucky with the weather with winter sunshine in the sky. Both of us were avoiding our boring repetitive daily domestic duties opting to cache instead. The housework can wait. With the puzzle solved a while ago but no time to go out and cache, today was the day. After circling at least 3 times, it was Earthbound Chief that finally made the find. The logbook was full so we replaced it.Thank you for the cache here Kristyadventures
thanks to OSHFAM for replacing the log and bag. Cache is good to go and ready to be found.
Today we found Safety First on our travels. A mental health day is a day well spent. We both managed to overlook this one until the doh moment..so many caches, not enough time! Thanks Kristysadventures for being part of our geocaching fun.
*Found on the 13 Jul 2024 @ 4:07PM.**Cache find # 15664.* After a bit of a kayak adventure on the Yarra river, it was time to head for home, but on the way, I was able to make a few slight detours to find a few other caches along the way, this was one that I found.I solved this one on the night it was published but didnt get around to finding it until now.The cache was found but the log was very wet and turned to mush so I added a couple of extra pieces of paper to sign.**Thanks to Kristysadventures for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
I was staying in Balaclava for Easter to mind a cat... and wanted a Mystery cache today for a challenge that I am working. After chasing lots of *steeples* and getting nowhere, I looked at my list of pre-solved Mysteries and decided that this was going to be my "cache for today". Rather late in the day I set off for a bit of a "tram adventure" to get within walking distance of this cache. Being a rather sunny and pleasant afternoon, it was going off in the park when I arrived... and my heart sank a bit. Fortunately the cache hidden away in a rather quite corner so I was able to find the cache and sign the log. Thanks **Kristysadventures** for this cache.
I completed the puzzle so long ago now and I have had a few goes at looking for this one, always on a lovely day..today was no different and once again there was a muggle sitting on the seat .. I decided this time I would wait them out ..it took a while but I was rewarded with a quick find. A quick sign of the log and off. Thanks Kristysadventures for placing the cache.
Down in Melbourne enjoying the autumn weather and the various caches on our hitlist. We had this puzzle solved ready for our next trip over the bay. It was fun to solve except one answer remained elusive but that didnt matter as it didnt affect the finals. Today we had to wait for various types of muggles to leave before making the find. Thanks Kristysadventures for the mystery placement.
The park was quiet and a quickish find at GZ. The iPhone did take a while to settle but a search in the most obvious spot uncovered the cache. Thanks to Kristysadventures for the cache.
Solved this fairly easily a few days ago and ducked out today before it got too hot. Was a bit confused at GZ and took a few circumnavigations before I spotted the cache. I was confident it was what I was looking for thanks to the note from CO below. Curiously, the hint that comes up in my app is not accurate - had I read the website version of the hint, I expect I would have found it a lot more quickly. TFTC!
Found at 16:30I don't remember doing there puzzle one but I must have solved this when it was released because I've got a set of coords. In the area today so I came by for a look and after enjoying a walk around the park, made a quick find due to the lack of camo. Thanks Kristysadventures for the cache
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk Caches Found: First To Find: 152Sidetracked Cache Finds: 121Out and about with Rebel Acts after finishing work a little earlier today. After a short search, we soon had the cache stamped.Cheers for the cache.
We were back in the vicinity and time to try this cache again. This time The _Evil_Muggle decided to join me for the hunt. I first concentrated on the same tree I focused on previously, then looked elsewhere. TEM did the opposite. His extra height meant he was able to see things from another perspective and found! Its certainly in a tricky place and the hint is bang on! Thanks for the fun Kristysadventures!
We came out early in order to avoid the 38 degree temperature predicted for later in the day. There were a lot of people around in general but we managed to grab the cache without any muggles being around in that instant. Thanks for the cache and the puzzle.
A puzzle I could solve, woo hoo. I have been GZ before, and it is beautiful. The walk from the station is also lovely, so many pretty homes and gardens along the way. AT GZ the cache was found quickly, but with all the rain the log is sopping wet.
New minty cache and log in place.A better one will be made when weather permits.
An event in Fed Square dragged me back into the city for the nth time this week, this time with buhfuhguh in tow, as we embarked on a fairly high-terrain caching day - especially peculiar given our largely urban environment! Some big targets were finally achieved with the aid of the ladder, tree fishing pole, whatever else was lying around in the car (toll road tag included), and the Herring Island punt! This puzzle was sorted out quickly following its publication with the crucial numbers targeted and their corresponding clues worked out in only a short period of time with a simple conversion achieving the approval of the checker.Today, we ventured into this cute park and made our way over to gz where a straightforward hide awaited us.The CO described the original cache to us in the subsequent days which sounded lovely, so hopefully it can make a return soon! Thanks to Kristysadventures for this puzzle and hide!
13 January 2024 7:29pmDay in the city, caching with Brain before he heads up to ACT for the next 5 years... sounds good to me. Packed with many odds and ends to pick up some choice caches within the Royal Park, Docklands and Port Melbourne area, we were keen to get some fun numbers and do some research for our next caching challenge.
GZ inspected and the little first aid meerkat is definitively missing. New cache coming soon.
Sorry for late log but I know GMelb spoke to you at PP event on Christmas Eve, so you were able to disable. Its Christmas Eve and we had to pick something up in Murrumbeena so we decided to find some caches as well! JMelb solved this one the night before as we knew wed be in the area. This was last on the list and despite a good search and a PAF we werent able to locate. Annoying Muggles!!! Thanks anyway Kristysadventures
I solved this while chatting to Noworries on the phone the other night. We came up to Melbourne to go to the event here this afternoon, not realising the event had been postponed until we were already in the suburbs. Not wanting to waste the trip completely, we stayed and I found a few caches in the area. I decided to have a go at this just in case we couldnt come up when the event is rescheduled. When I walked into the park wearing a geocaching t-shirt and carrying my iPad a group of dog walkers asked whether I worked for the council. It was the second time that afternoon I had been asked that question! When I assured them I wasnt they went back to their dog and social activities while I moved to GZ. There was one very obvious location to focus my search on, but despite scratching around the main tree and a few others a few metres away I couldnt find anything, so its a DNF here for me this afternoon!

It's extremely rare for me to log caches within an hour of finding them, let alone a day or a week! Perhaps I've broken my habit. Especially having smashed my phone last night, I have only a couple of laptops for technological purposes. A new puzzle cache 2.5kms away. Ha! You're dreaming Deepsky, you've got to solve the puzzle first and then you've got to find the cache without a navigational tool. Well, I do have a knack for making things difficult for myself when it comes to this game but I can only try so I made a start on the puzzle. The puzzle is easier than I expected, all was going well and I thought I had coordinates. That solution is incorrect, you have 9 tries remaining. Half a dozen different tries and figured something must be wrong with the actual answers and thanks to the CO, one crossword answer was incorrect. I discovered my mistake and had the correct solution. I took a look on the satellite map to determine where I was going. The weather was non gloomy anymore and good enough for a bike ride so after putting some air in the tyres I was off.Arriving at the park, a dog greeted me as I parked the bike and I wandered over to where I thought GZ was but it was likely I would have to check at least two areas. Luckily enough I found a tree that looked promising in the first area I tried and not sure how I didn't see the cache from the front but spotted it soon after. All signed and returned. Thanks for bringing me here as I don't think I had visited this location until now but perhaps I'm mistaken. Thankfully I did not crash my bicycle and wore a helmet because safety first indeed.
With a change of plans half way through the day we suddenly had a FTF opportunity so headed here with a pretty good idea of just what the cache looked like.Due to the 20 minute trip and even ignoring the suggested parking for a closer spot, Rebel Acts and I still only got 2TF due to Amandaberries speediness and close proximity to this one. After feeling guilty for getting the coordinates from elsewhere I have now returned home and solved the puzzle for myself. Thanks Kristysadventures for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Out and about with a couple of teams, finding ones that played to our collective strengths... and then PING! I've got mail I actually have my phone on silent so the ping is imaginary but you get the picture. There we were, 4 car loads of geocachers, 25 minutes away from an FTF... could we do it? Hmmm, how did we know we were going to the right spot - a bit of safety training did the trick.Safety training is one thing. I might need some training in how to get to an FTF, especially when I choose not to look at the map but rather simply go to the car parking. Not the smartest move I've done but hey, others were following us, trusting our guidance. We arrived at the carpark and happily trotted along the path until the vision of Spiffy and Rebel Acts lazing on the park bench appeared before us. We had been done. It was fun to hear that Amandaberries had swooped in before and grabbed the FTF, well done The cutest cache, I love it, I wanted to take it home. I resisted. So cute. Thanks, KristysAdventures, what a lovely way to spend Sunday afternoon and the sun was shining to boot. Gotta be happy
FTF! There I was, sitting at home when I get a notification! Normally Id message [@Kristysadventures](https://coord.info/PRXNC6Z) to see if she wants to grab it but lo and behold, it was her cache! The puzzle was quickly solved and I only had one wrong turn before I had the coordinates. A short drive to a beautiful location and there it was. As I was leaving I came across a man carrying a very large python out of the park! Minding my own business, I quickly hurried away. Im hoping they were professional entertainers! Thanks [@Kristysadventures](https://coord.info/PRXNC6Z) for a fun puzzle and a unique hide!
While the group (Riddle, Spiffy, Snips and Co and l) was trying to work out where to head next Snip and Co got a new cache notification,msg...FTF ...let's solve it she says...just as I got a msg with the coordinates from a fellow Geo cacher who was at home with the instructions to Go Go Go we all set off in a convoy however Spiffy went the shorter way managing to get STF while the rest of us parked a mile away...well ok maybe only 300 meters AWITP.. but we were Pipped at the post by 10 min taking TTF....
Joint third to find with SnipsandCo and Tiz13In a fierce race with Spiffy and Rebel Acts following the Events today at Seaford and the release of the cache today with the FTF still displayed.Well we were all pipped at the post!TFTC. A little fluffy cutie! Well themed.
I guess you have to be quick for FTF I was sixteen minutes away, I arrived at the same time as Spiffy for the second to find. A nice puzzle and cache. Thanks Kristysadventures for the cache.
