Working on numbers as I approach my next milestone (with a specific cache and rough date in mind), spending a week of the school holidays with my nephew T-rex 11 provided the opportunity to also add this AL and bonus to the tally along with a nearby earthcache for this weekends souvenir.

Spending a week of the school holidays with my aunt mizmaz, it had to include some caching so as we did the AL together, I got to tag along on the bonus.

Last of ten cache finds today with one AL (5 locations) and just one DNF. On a day out with Graubunden, my geospouse. The AL journey was lovely with both footwork and short drives. Loved the bonus cache container, my wife thought I was picking up something rotten! TFTC bdp

Not comfortable to find because of high volume of traffic and people.

Ryde is an interesting suburb historically. I've visited many of these locations particularly during the lockdowns where they were terrific photographic spots to help while away my empty hours.Even the street which leads to GZ has some lovely old Federation homes.Last week I had to take my younger geodog to the Vet and on our way back we visited the waypoints for this AL. Knowing he needed to return this week for surgery I left the final bonus hide for today.With the dog dropped off and the rain stopping I stopped for the bonus cache. It seemed that all the muggle dog walkers had the same idea and there were plenty along this track. They must have wondered why I was standing in the wet.I haven't walked this track so it's somewhere for the dogs and I to explore.Nicely themed log container!Was it solid? Or is the nibbling on the outside part of the authenticity or is some small creature enjoying it for dinner. Looks quite real though as it is.TFTC # 5805

I enjoyed the various spots that have been selected (if not jogging up the hill from the water up to Victoria Road!), and the history is interesting. It was starting to drizzle when I got to the final waypoint, but I decided it was still okay to go for the cache, and indeed it was. Once there it didn't take too long to get CIH - cute! TNLNSL TFTC

#10109 (6 of 6 today - including 5 Adventure Labs)Noticed this new AL bonus when it was published not too far from home this morning, but the associated AL wasnt up and running. Kept an eye on it and shortly after 10 saw the AL was now available, so thought why not.So found the five AL locations, and early on noticed an incorrect guess on the checker. Hmmm.In order, I found:#10104 - Meadowbank Railway Bridge#10105 - Settlers Park#10106 - Queen Victoria Jubilee Fountain #10107 - Granny Smith Grave Site#10108 - Addington HouseAssembled my answer and got a green light from the checker - the second. Am I going to be beaten to the prize or is an anonymous someone just guessing from far away or work? Only one way to find out.Headed to GZ and started the search. After a short search I found a nicely themed container and opened it to find an empty log!*FTF* @ 11:15Added my ink to the log and replaced.Time to get back in the aircon at home.Gets a favourite for the interesting locations and the container and the First2Find.SLTNLNTFTC

What a fun Adventure Lab around the area.I loved the history and the profile of Queen Victoria in the fountain was amazing. Figured out the coords pretty easily from the description and went to find.Coordinates were good and the hint pin pointed what to do.
