Quick shopping trip to Mount Barker but just enough time to grab a cache!! Thanks for the hide!
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Murray Bridge to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches. Last day for caching the area so making the most of it even on an overcast and damp morning. Thanks JeffJulie
Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip.We are staying in Murray Bridge for a few days and doing a bit of sightseeing around the area using geocaching as our guide. TFTC JeffJulie.
We have made numerous visits to Mount Barker over the last five years and have watched the rapid increase in new estates but many of them were in the early stages. We returned today to attempt the caches that have been published since our last visit in August 2023. It is now obvious that we had previously seen only part of the housing boom in the area - the estates are much more extensive that we realised. The economic activity generated much be great for Mount Barker but we cringed at times with the design of many of the dwellings and the lack of space between many of the dwellings. We could not see ourselves living in such close proximity to neighbours.Again this cache took a few minutes to locate. It took a systemmatic search - then we wondered how we had missed i in our initial search. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks JeffJulie for this cache and for the series which took us to parts of Mount Barker that we have not visit before.
One of five Mount Barker subdivision caches by JeffJulie, which I think finishes off the series for me. So much new housing; where do all these people work?? The caches were all pretty easy finds, and are in good condition. Thanks for this cache and the series JeffJulie.

Spotted the cache on my second lap. Once seen cannot be unseen.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. Something special or unusual goes here:Another suburb/housing estate and another cache found. The Generic Bit:The usual Tuesday Trek with S.A. Sewer Rats and Ttrogg. We met up at my pond and went in search of some newer caches in Mount Barker before branch out in the sticks a bit and finishing in Strathalbyn. A fun day in the sticks where I hadn't been for about 5 years or so. **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks JeffJulie for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Three Confused Puzzlers out for another Tuesday Trek. After the Rat was delivered to my cave, we trekked down to the Starfish's pool and then set out to see what could be found. The growing series of trads around Mount Barker were probably my main aim (all the newies were found, even scored a FTF on one) but quite a few others were found as well and we ended up in Strathalbyn before it was time to head home.Another quick find by one of the trio, added our stamps to the log and left as found. Thanks to JeffJulie for making this cache available to be found.Cache #14389 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. A lovely day to grab a few caches with greenfrog8 while on holidays in my old hometown. There are so many new housing areas that have opened up since I left. I miss the hills.TFTC JeffJulie
Found with Beary Organised & we were both Cache Blind for about half hour then Bingo right before our eyes. TFTC TNLNSL
Found this with CherryRose. Took far longer than it should have. If it had teeth it would have bitten us. Definitely need to do some more caching. Weve had too long a break. TFTC TNLNSL

Out for the day with The White Dog Gang. All caches found were in good order unless otherwise mentioned. The weather was cool and drizzly and the mozzies were out in force at times. Thanks to all who placed caches.
Found after heading into Mount Barker to do some shopping and got sidetracked. Thanks for the cache JeffJulie!
A couple more in this newish series published Christmas Eve, and still unfound!I happened to be going past, on the freeway, so a quick detour and a couple of quick FTF's were had.Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through too @ 1725hrs, in the misty fog... bizarre!TNLNSL Thanks
