Quick and easy pickup with this cache, no troubles finding it. Log signed and returned back to its original hiding spot. Thanks for the cache!
**Found by Snap Happy** Out and about with GoodLook and TheDame as we attended the local CITO. The thing I love about caching is the interesting stories, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the history, the interests of the individual COs, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals dont know about. I, like most cachers, look for more than a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most COs take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less travelled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be. I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own.The weather was patchy with the rain holding off for the most part. The vistas stunning. The coffee shops and bakeries wonderful and the company fabulous. Many laughs ensued as we made our way to a nearby coffee shop after the CITO event.I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. Thank you mldka4 for highlighting this area and for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. Thanks for the history lesson too. Appreciate your efforts. - PMany thanks mldka4 for the fun and laughs.**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Cache on! **#19278**
09:31Grabbed by au.fait so she, Rebel Acts, Tiz13 and I could sign the log during this morning's Moorpanyal CITO.Thanks, mldka4.I made it to the train just after 7 by the skin of my teeth... once my breathing and heart rate got back to normal, it was a nice leisurely trip to North Shore and a short walk.Wandering along the cliff edge gathering rubbish, chatting with your mates is not the worst way to start the day. We picked up a whole lot of crap.#9247
A long awaited weekend trip to Geelong saw us catching up with friends and targeting some of our long list of solved puzzles, amongst other caches as well. While attending a nearby CITO, this was one of the two 'caches in' we found. Thank you for highlighting Dr Coralie's passions. And TFTC mldka4.

Waiting for hubby to finish appointment, i figured I'd come and get this cache and admire the view. All is good with it. Tftc
I could not find it. Wasn't under the bench. Wasn't near the pole. Nowhere
Unfortunately my phone was being repaired and just logging these now which I did with Rex46 (his is the true date of logging)
With dot558, heading back to Lara as misty rain starting to comeIdeal bench to sit and watch the ships come in
Replace the log today as it was getting quite full. The cache is in good condition and all ready to be found
Im not too sure about this cache but Im just gonna say me and my support carer (frogsnot0070) found what we were trying to look for.
Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz . Thanks for the cache mldka4
Another fun find on my journey from north of the border.A great view of the Corio Bay from GZ and around. Thanks to deanside who came with me to some of the caches I found today. Thanks mldka4 and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!
Coralie sounds like a great woman. A ship was leaving as I was here but I have no idea what was on it. Thanks for the cache.
I'm sure it's here still but being new I just couldn't find it lol. Will try again in the future!
Working our way through some of the Victorian Caches of the Year, enjoying good company and not too bad weather. Would be a nice spot to sit and watch the port movements but on a warmer and less windy day. Cache quickly found and name added to the logThanks mldka4 for contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
Out and about with Deanside today and collecting some of these cache of the year noms. Nice quick find along the way, TFTC
Just double checked this one today and it is in its usual place all ready to be found:)
We have once again checked on this little fella and can confirm that it is still in its original place. Good luck
Found by caughtatwork on 07/04/2024 at 3:13:00 PMA quick find at a nice location to geocache.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1
Rated: for Overall Experience
Found safe & well. This cache is special to us because it is our first micro. Nice view. We watched a ship get guided into dock. TFTC!
After a paddle on the Yarra Sims_Family and I continued to search for caches amongst the Docklands and Port Melbourne. On the way home I decided to stop by and locate this one with its interesting information.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the traditional cache 7,9
The geocache has finally been replaced The you for everyone who found the original one, please keep in mind that this one is in a slightly different spot. Good luck.
Absolutely nothing here to be found today except the view.We expected a park and grab. Not so unfortunately.
Grrrrr this one has been muggled. Will make a replacement and place it there within a couple of weeks.
Found quickly. A windy day today so we didn't stay too long enjoying the view
A lovely place to sit and look out to sea on a nice day, which today wasn't. A quick find and able to be sneaky despite the nearby houses. Tftc.
We needed to be in Geelong today to help Mr Dromaniax's son with his rental inspection, as he has an old dog that isn't keen on strangers, and we didn't want an incident with the managing agent. While we were in Geelong, we took the opportunity to find this cache. We made our way to GZ and took some time to take in the views as we waited for the coast to clear of muggles. As it was such a stunning day and some of the muggles were very young this took around fifteen minutes. We started to look and soon had the cache in hand.the cache is in excellent condition.Thank you mldka4 for this traditional cache.
This one has been on my radar since it came out, having signed (but yet to qualify for) a challenge cache to find caches placed on Xmas day. Back when I signed that challenge there was a total of 0 Xmas day caches in the greater geelong area. So I hid one (which of course didnt help me whatsoever).Fast forward to today and there are now a few scattered around Geelong. A quick stop and quick find here today after a blood donor appt and im now one step closer to qualifying. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find!
Decided to try and find this one today ... very windy here today but a good view over the bay... soon had the cache in hand... TFTC
SL @ 4.36 pm What a wonderful community minded person Coralie was! Thanks for all the information about her. A bit windy. But not cold. Didnt have the equipment for twitching today , so left those for another visit. #10,505 TFTC midka4
The last cache for the day saw us here at this recently published cache. The wind was quite cold as we sat and signed the logbook but the views are certainly worth the visit. Thanks mldka4 for the placement.
Suscoe dropped by here this afternoon, it was a bit blowy from the South East across the bay. Thanks to midka4 for this tribute cache to the memory of Dr. Coralie Jenkins. Dr Jenkins certainly was involved in a broad range of community activities and made a significant contribution to the lives of many in the Geelong region and beyond by the sounds of it.A lovely spot to sit and contemplate. A delightful view!!A favourite.
Whilst the crumbs used the nearby playground I snuck off to collect this smiley. It was the first place I looked which is always handy Thanks for the hide

[FTF] The email popped, I screamed "get in the car!" to SueHut, and we were off! The find was easy, although we had a lovely discussion with a muggle about Geocaching. Before I could get the sticky tape off the log, SimsFamily arrived. The more the merrier! Thanks heaps for the cache! First FTF in... a long time.
A quiet and measured exit from home turned into frantic haste when the alarm sounded. Even so it was not to be a FTF. Many thanks for the cache.
Joint [FTF] with wespro and suehut I was having a quiet morning still trying to recover from a very busy Christmas when my phone beeped with a new cache not too far away. I know the park well with one of my twitch series in the same park so I put something on my feet and headed out the door.As I made it to the park I could see wespro and suehut with someone else at GZ. I quickly jumped out to see if I was in time to share in the first to find. Lucky for me wes was having trouble getting the log open so I was there just in tim.Thank you mldka4 for the hide
Just finished work nearby and had the two geosons with me. Parked not too far and pointed to where the GZ is to the boys and they were onto it within seconds. Thanks for placing for us to find.
