Wonderful Sunday morning for a ferry ride and walk along the river. Took us a while to find the cache. We looked all over the place before it revealed itself. And it's not even concealed! Thanks!!

Find #: 3,766Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Grey spring morningCache condition: GoodAfter running the Parramatta parkrun I still had some energy, so decided to go for a second jog around the nearby University campus (including the adventure lab) and then a loop along the river. I approached GZ, unsure how to interpret the hint, but a comment in a previous log gave me an idea that allowed me to spot the container. Hmmm, hope that leveraged an existing gap? Anyway, TNLNSL TFTC

Enjoyed a short sit on the lookout bench on this unusually warm day. Walked back to start looking and was initially pushed by gps to west side of the bridge. Eventually settled and found the hide but with no camo mentioned in previous logs. Should there be? Nice spot. TFTC

11-Aug-24
Took a good minute to find this one with Roomar_S and Estafita. TFTC!

11-Aug-24
After a nice relaxing sit on the dock and a good look around with IROL22 we finally found it. It took a couple of lines from previous logs to work it out. Thankfully its not copper. TFTC

I was in the Parramatta area, while C8 wanted to check out Westfield's. That's an excuse for me to go caching. With the Cosmic souvenirs up for grabs, these few around here were just the recipe. It was chilly out there, but I enjoyed the walk along the river bank, and over the bridge. At GZ, I wasn't too sure where it would be: down? up? under? over? Eventually it was seen to my left, hanging around. I got to the log easily enough, but took forever to get it back in. I just hate these tiny scrolls. Finally, I had it closed up and then back to meet up with C8. As others have stated, the attachment method is questionable. TFTC

THanks for the hide. Visiting today and this was the closest cache. This had me looking 3 ways.

Surprisingly quick find, used this as turnaround from Meadowbank to Parramatta run, lots of places could be but spotted cache with the help of hint.Suspect if there was outer camo - that as fallen off (cache was quite exposed - will send pic to CO upon request).Pen wasn't a fan of the cold/wet so have attached pic of log. Thanks!

Well wouldnt have found that without help of previous finder. Not much of this made sense. Found with the shoeiiz. Nice little wharf nearby. Tftc

Tftc - PAF required after searching for a while. Shame about the placement, thankfully the container is not copper.

#14053 14:35I required to PAF who recalled he nearly got washed away while searching under the bridge, not being aware of a passing Riving Cat. No dramas for me, and I made a good discovery while keeping my shoes dry.TFTC JGoof.

19-Apr-24
I cant find it Ill come back another day to continue searching

18-Apr-24
Very tricky find, and I would never have found it if it wasnt for my geohusband. He was telling me about the twins that he found over here. Interesting placement.

15-Apr-24
Interesting, not what I thought. This took us quiet sometime and needed to PAF for a nudge. Wasn't too long after that we made the find TFTC.

15-Apr-24
Not what we expected, but with some assistance from a previous finder who pointed us in the other direction we spotted straight away. Interesting, tftc.

27-Feb-24
Took me quite a bit longer than the difficulty rating would suggest. After reaching out to a few previous finders, I noticed the cache out of the corner of my eye in a spot that matched the hint.

22-Feb-24
I should have followed the GPS, got there with PAF help in the end, thanks

Nifty little container that I wouldn't have found without help from previous logs. TFTC!

Well that was interesting.Parked in the shade on Baludarri Drive, and impressed with the surrounding developments that have taken place recently around here.Easy walk to GZ by following the concrete paths, and arrived with so many options. Low tide, went underneath to low upwards, as this sort of matched the hint. Stood there for a minute and then the water rose in an instant up to shin level. Turned around to see the river cat had snuck up heading to Parramatta wharf. I didnt even hear it, now with my shoes filled with water I headed up top, damn.An exhausting search eventually revealed an evil hide. I sort of questioned the fixing to myself too, anyway thanks for that tricky hide, JGoof

My goodness, two caches less than 2 metres apart. I just had to revisit GCAHX33. To convert my DNF into a Smiley by finding JGoofs cache. Again, well done to pj205 for the first real find.I absolutely have no idea why there are two, perhaps two geocachers planned to hide there, and one got published first. See photo (false cache shown, the real one isnt pictured - only the log roll itself). To call the other cache a piece of rubbish is not encouraging other geocache hiders positively, thats all I can say.

25-Jan-24
Checked on the cache. Still there, although cover has been removed and cache exposed. Please place cover back over cache after signing the log. Thanks

25-Jan-24
Just a rectification; Im sorry SursiVisio you were not the FTF my cache. Seems like youve logged a piece of rubbish. PJ205 you were the FTF! Congrats!

Great camo, good spot

I used to walk geodog along the river some years ago when I lived closer. They have certainly upgraded things since that last visit. Parked the geomobile in exactly the same spot as last visit when it was a dog taxi. I walked down towards the lookout as it began to rain so I decided to do the cache thing first then check out the view. I'd picked up all the subtle clues in the cache name so it was a very quick find, you can be lucky, but getting the log out and then back into the container after signing the log was much much more difficult. This isn't a cache for people with big buffy fingers!By the time the cache was back in place it was raining quite hard. Hey it's only water, so I decided to have a bit of a look around at all the new development. I didn't realise the light rail was coming so close to the river.TFTC # 5754

Wow - what an ingenious hide! Thought my chances of finding this were slim as gps was wandering but previous log entries helped! TFTC

11-Jan-24
It took me a second visit to find. Very smart camo TFTC

08-Jan-24
Very clever. I walked to the lookout and walked back and as I was walking back I spotted something on the tree not right and yes it was the cache.

Was nearby with a job wrapped up. Two new caches published over here so I made a beeline to this spot. Couldnt locate it after 15 mins so off to the other newbie. Success at the larger wharf. Came back and lost more than half hour searching as the GZ coordinates, cache description and hint clashed with each other. Perseverance paid off with todays second [FTF]. Thanks JGoof
