Thanks, last one with my mr 4 today. The attachment method no longer working, but hidden well. Cheers
Good to find a quick drive by after a long walk in Bottlelake Forest. All quiet at GZ and a quick find StreetWalkerNZ who got to GZ first. Nicely hidden. Now to head for home and a well deserved cup of coffee. TFTC.
#23825. We were on our way home from a walk in Bottle Lake Forest Park, and we were keen to make one more find for today. A P+G was ideal, so we stopped and made a quick find. Nicely hidden. TFTC.
Didn't take long to find this one, just as well I don't particularly enjoy caches like this out in the open. Thanks cooperwjg11#16943
JD found it. He likes to say, " see dear you have to stick with the experienced" , We parked our car near here and went for a bike ride . I was going around in circles but JD found it.
With a trio of caches down near the southern border of Bottlelake Forest I went on a eMTB cyclocache ride from Kaiapoi down through the forest. I DNF'd this cache on my visit last month. I now can't believe how I missed it back then. [B)] Thanks for the cache Cooper. .
00:40 A nightly find. Well, after an unsuccessful FTF hunt for the new cache nearby, I decided I can't end the night on a DNF and cane to visit this one.I read all the previous logs as well as the cache description and hint, to give me a good idea on where to look. And sure enough, the cache was a quick find. T rating and hint are very helpful, but the **cache size should be listed as micro** instead of small. The attachment is interesting, and I wonder how will that last. Works good so far.Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, cooperwjg11!#10708
Out on another 50km cyclocache ride seeking out any cache type other than multis - those have been set aside for up-coming Multicache Challenge dot days. This was the 4th of 4 caches on my loop ride. Sadly this was a DNF. I could not find any spot a small cache (i.e. between 100ml and 1 litre) could be placed that was accessable whilst sitting in a wheelchair.
This was my second attempt to locate this one. I broadened my search area and found it pretty quickly
Upon arrival at GZ a technician was working on the nearby electrical box fortunately a couple of minutes later he packed up and left leaving the coast clear; TFTC
A nice quick find, a walk by rather thn a drive by!. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are out and about around the Eastern suburbs of Christchurch today. Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Came out in the hot afternoon to find a cache or two. Hot, hot, hot....no one else around in the heat of the late afternoon, last cache of the afternoons adventuring. Thanks.
Always get extra nervous when the cache is supposed to be for learners, and we did struggle some what here!! Took us some time to locate and the method of connection was one we didn't foresee in that area. So well done you had us fooled for ages.
Not sure if we were being watched by Muggles from over the road But this is where the Cache is hidden,so made it a quickish find and hope it stayed put TFTH
Was over this side of the city today picking up some items I had purchased online. I didn't have to be home in any rush so it meant I could pick up a few caches in the area, this being one.I had seen this cache published yesterday but, alas, I wasn't able to rush out for the FTF. Nevermind.A quick find, it helped to read OSC's log regarding noticing the T rating. Definitely helped narrow down the search area. Thanks for the cache.
[FTF]I was out struggling with a multi in Wainoni. About the time I gave up on it, the new cache alert dropped. I was nowhere near it but figured Id go for the FTF anyway. After all, its long past bedtime for the usual FTF hunters!I arrived and did a few circles. A few good options for a hide here. The hint was super helpful, as was the T rating, and zeroed me in on a perfect hiding spot. Had it in hand and signed moments later. FP awarded. Not to be nitpicky and out of genuine concern for the caches longevity - a different attachment method may needed. It took me a few tries to get it to firmly reattach and I fear the elements are going to knock your cache down.
