Just in the area and thought I would check on this. Cache and log in good condition. Cache on
Mrs SKI spotted the cache at GZ, then it was back to the car for a TOTT. With it deployed the cache was soon signed and returned. We traveled from Tamworth to Branxton today with a stop in Scone. Not many caches on the way as the road is too busy and the rain yesterday could make pulling over dodgy. We arrived soon after lunch and after setting up headed out into the local area for look and cache. We were surprised to see basically a new town nearby. We found some good cache containers and got to try out our newly extended tree fishing pole.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Deni_f.**SKI Pair****
Found, with shaneo58, We came to Branxton/Singleton area to attempt all the new caches placed since we've been here last. Thie AL was completed about a month ago and finally cought up to this one.Signed log and Cache replaced as found.**Thanks For The Cache** Deni_f.This makes a grand total of 4423 at 10:40AM on this Thursday the 13th of June in the Year 2024
Up in this area again with BillHill531, finishing off the cachesxwe didn't get the other week. TFTC Deni_f and the AL series. Enjoyed it

TFTC and the assistance to get this cache Deni_f. Did the Adventure Lab ages ago. I love Branxton. A lovely little historic town with interesting buildings and history. A favourite from me for the Lab.
Easily spotted the cache. Lucky we had the ladder and Buz21b climbed up and signed the log. Tftc
Up in the Hunter valley today trying to escape the rain on the coast while targeting some D/T combinations I need for a challenge cache. I had a bit of trouble finding the answer at St John's church but the CO helped me with that, then it was on for the remaining locations and finally the bonus. It took me a little while to spot the cache but, once I did, it was out with the telescopic ladder to reach it and sign the log. Many thanks for an enjoyable AL and bonus. Unfortunately, by the time I'd finished it I'd run out of time and couldn't sample any of the other ALs and caches around Branxton, but I'll return another day for those.
We swung by here late enough that most of the activities had packed up for the day. Spotted where we needed to be got there without much trouble. Thankd Deni_f.
Disabling to a different location with the same DT as the previous location seems to be an issue
Final Cache location has been relocated as the previous location seems to be a problem. Adventure Lab has also been updated. Cache on
I had the pleasure of meeting the CO here for retrieval, as I did not have the necessary TOTT for retrieval. Sadly, it looks like a previous finder has taken a liking to the original container and replaced it with a mint tin. So sad. That being said, I enjoyed the lab and enjoyed meeting the CO. I'll be back next year for some more!
Cache has gone missing. It has already been replaced with a mint tin at the same location. Remember you will need a small TOTT to get your name on the log.
Unfortunately the weather is being unkind to us visitors but it gave us the opportunity to do this labcache without getting too wet. The bonus cache worked in well with the weather conditions allowing us to stay dry as we signed the logbook. Thanks Deni_f for the bonus placement.
A great lab. TOTT deployed. No lizards were harmed in the caching of this cache. Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks Deni_f and clear skies from TeamAstro. ?? Cache the planet! log wet so fixed. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Cute lizards here, cache guardians!Day 7 the travels towards Barrington Tops before heading to the 2024 Canberra Geobash. Thanks Deni_f for placing this here, contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
Thanks for the cache , doing a few for the souvenirs that are available today, nice to keep some local ones around for this purpose
#2,093After completing the AL, I calculated the location of this bonus.I made my way to GZ and started the search.I was able to retrieve the cache, sign the log and replaced.I am not sure why a bonus cache would need to be so difficult to get. This would really put a dampener of the AL for those who are shorter and cannot get the bonus, particularly if you are not from this area.Anyway it was a nice trip around a place we have not explored before..PS: there were lots of lizards looking on.
We had to make a trip to Dubbo, but we made a spare half day to go caching in the Branxton area. There has been many new caches placed since we were last here, taking us to some interesting locations while touring the area. Now camped at Jerrys Plains overnight.Lucky we had the appropriate TOTT with us. Thanks Deni_f for hiding this cache.
Completed the AL without any problems (though I had to guess a couple of the answers) and then headed to the coordinates that the AL provided me with. Spotted the cache straight away thanks to the hint, but it's well beyond my reach, and since I don't carry around a step ladder in my car, I had to give this bonus cache a miss. Thanks for a nice tour around Branxton Deni_f.
Found with 2pods after completing the Adventure Lab - needed the tall techsavvy for this one but in her absence had a TOTT instead. Thanks for the informative & fun adventure lab in Branxton. Saw some wonderful old buildings while completing it.
An adventure and a half. Having done the AL we descended upon the bonus. A couple of muggles passed while we were pondering, then we saw where the prize was. We had two TOTTs in the car, and of course the first one we used didnt work. So out with the second And Off we went. How intrepid!! Got it. Full team effort with Goldberry17. TFTC Definitele worth a favourite.
I completed the AL, Had some trouble with the 5 words, must have entered them 5 times, and finally it said OK. Off to the Final, after a DNF and another find. Parked at the most convenient spot, and walked under to gz, and thanked the cacheing gods it wasnt in one of those walls. Soon spotted the object, but how do i get that. Its only a T3. CO must be a giant. That ledge is just a bit too slim. I did have a TOTT, but couldnt be bothered getting it off the roof, so used the car. Even standing on the bull bar, it was a stretch. Thanks for the adventure, and the cache.
Have just updated the coordinates in the Adventure Lab. Thanks to Team 737 for the tip. I have also double and triple checked them. Hopefully they are more accurate now.
After exploring Branxton and gathering the information required, I made my way here for the bonus cache. TFTC and thanks for an enjoyable Adventure Lab.
We had a pleasant afternoon in Branxton which involved coffee and food then a nice drive around the adventure in the country. Soon after we arrived at GZ for this bonus cache but had to wait for a person right there having a smoke. When they moved on I found the cache to retrieve and log it, then my problems began as I just could not get it back in place. I had a suitable tool but it was just not good enough, and I couldn't convince MrsFish to climb onto my shoulders. Regetably, I replaced it in a more obvious place and notified the CO. Thanks Deni_f for an enjoyable AL and this cache, and thanks too for being so understanding.
#7361**FTF**We were out doing some technical tree climbs this morning when the cache got published. Once we finished up, we decided to give this a go.The start was a bit troublesome, but one by one we got the adlab completed and some coords. We drove back over to GZ, searching aimlessly around and around, until Dad had an idea, and soon the cache was spotted a fair way from the coordinates. After a bit of a boost, I was up and had the CIH TNLN SL, FP for the fun and the unique DT rating.TFTC Deni_f
#7361***FTF***We were out doing some tree climbing assistance in Newcastle when this was published, but had a bit to go, so once we were finished, changed plans from an event to an FTF shot. The AL was fun, we started in town, and were almost tripped by the first question.... ouch! Samuel had a stroke of genius, and we were onwards. We arrived at the final, and struggled, then checked the hint and the hide became obvious - it was just 25m from the coordinates, and we had no suitable TOTT with us. It was the 'teenager on Dads shoulders' TOTT that eventually did the trick. Beauty, an empty log - the second for this month! Nice DT too.... TFTC!!Final needed offsets of approx S+.013, E+.004.
We saw this published but had to run some errands with the extended family first and so we missed the FTF! Doh!A fun trip around town and boy was I glad I had a 4 year old with me at GZ so I could use him as a TOTT ha ha - I lifted him above my head and he made the retrieve. Fun for everyone! TNLN TFTC
