I lead a bushcare group here on the 4th Saturday of the month and we weed around the chair. I usually forget a pen but when I saw the loose rock that was the giveaway. I made the find. Photo attached as yet again I forgot the pen. Tftc tnln

Headed over the two bridges with frazeydaze for some caching around the Northern Beaches today. Walked down the steps beside the house and found the seat and then the cache. To avoid the steps we walked back along the path past the lovely rock outcrops. Cache all good. SLRC as found. TFTC.

(3 of 4 today - including 1 AL)Only after a few finds today, so decided to target two caches close together at Clontarf. Didn't notice one had a recent DNF, but all good as I found it anyway. Then I still had some time so thought I'd go after a previous unlogged DNF and then an AL location. Of course I picked one with a bit of a walk (oops) - and silly me started at the wrong spot, doubling the walk (double oops).###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###I actually have been here before but with wandering GPS I was somewhat flummoxed here. Noted a few things had been updated, so might as well try it again.A bit of wandering but when I saw the updated hint it all made sense. but I'm sure I checked there! However today I quickly spotted something worth checking - so I did. CIH!Completed signing duties and replaced as found - somewhat out in the open. Cache in good condition. Now back up those steps and away to the AL.SLTNLNTFTC###START OF ADVENTURE LAB SECTION###Decided to do another location in the AL around Narrabeen Lagoon. Came in from the east, when I'd approached from the shorter wester parking spot a few years ago, looking for a cache in the same area. That was:* Bridge Across NothingA big walk for a few seconds on work, but I amused myself playing *Pokmon Go* there and back. A surprising number of people using the track this afternoon.Three down and two to go - and those locations are near to each other.Time to head home.

Spent a while on the last seat and steps before giving up. As we were leaving, we saw another seat and more natural steps. A few mins there and the cache was found, logged and returned. Thanks!!

Coordinates changed from:S 33 47.884 E 151 14.323Coordinates changed to:S 33 47.881 E 151 14.326Distance from original: 23.0 feet or 7.0 meters.I am having a bit of trouble getting these co-ordinates exactly right. Maybe because of the trees. Have updated them today. Feedback would be welcome. If you are really struggling the hint will get you to GZ okay I think.

Couldnt find it

10-Mar-24
I have walked in this area before for a previous cache which was not far away.Today I started at the posted co-ordinates but couldn't find the cache or anything matching the hint. I then checked some past logs and used Brewmaker's suggested co-ordinates which took me much further down the steps, almost to the water line. After a bit of a scramble around I turned around and saw the hiding spot. This is a nice area and it was a great drive around Seaforth with it's spectacular views of The Spit.It would be a good idea hannah_and_dad to update the co-ordinates as the posted ones are about 17m, which is a long way, from the cache location. (If you don't know how to do this send me a message and I'll try and help.)TFTC # 5845

Found after looking for ages up and down the steps, we eventually found it 17m out. Try near the first seat, down a bit off the path. Try S34 47.884 E151 14.323.Nice spot to visit, though. TFTC

Took a while to find it, as the coords had us further/higher up the path. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC hannah_and_dad

Joint {FTF} with DaJakeBoy @ 3:38 pm.Was having a look at the emails and noticed this new local cache popup just after 2 pm, but we had geoson #1 & #2 drop-off & pickup duties to contend with, so left it to others to have a go. But it was still unfound, well unlogged at least, after we arrived back home at 3:15 pm, so I headed off on a solo mission to Seaforth to try my luck.Parked the geomobile in one of the handy parking slots at the end of Sangrado Street, then headed down the winding pathway and steps toward GZ. Soon arrived at GZ and noticed someone was sitting on the bench seat right at GZ, so I walked past and took in the nice water view a little further along the track, then doubled back to the seat and asked them if they were geocaching. Yes was the reply, and it turned out to be DaJakeBoy, who had placed quite a lot of new caches in the local area that we had found recently. Very nice to meet you.The cache was still unfound at this point so we both set to work searching in the nooks & crannies until the hide was uncovered and it was CIH. Signed the blank log as joint FTF, TNLN, then replaced everything as found. The coordinates seemed to be a bit out, no doubt due to the heavy tree cover, but the handy hint steers you in the right direction. Then snapped a few photos of the cache and views, before bidding our farewells and heading our separate ways.TFTC hannah_and_dad, and congratulations on your first cache placement.Find #6594

Joint {FTF} with vk2df @3:38pm on the 24/01/24 Needed a bit of fresh air this afternoon and this new cache seemed to be perfect for a little arvo outing. Since I wasnt to far, I took on the walk down to Sangrado Park. At GZ I was hopeless before a kind man who goes by the name of vkd2f came strolling down the steps by complete coincidence. We introduced ourselves to each other since this was our first meeting each other before we were back on the hunt to which vk2df pulled out the container. We were greeted with a pristine logbook which we both signed as a joint FTF. We placed the container back as found before grabbing some photos then saying our farewells. It was great meeting you, thanks for helping with the cache.TFTC, #215
