Logs
Found It!I attempted this one earlier today but it was covered in kids so I came back after dark and had the place all to myself. Then it was a quick find!TFTC
(3 of 4 today)Headed to Artarmon for today's caching goodness. Was after four finds for the calendar, and got them without any real difficulty. HUZZAH!###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Oh, one of these... and full of mother muggles and their mini-mes!Got the wrong spot first up, and soon realised I needed to move when I checked the coords. Relocated for a quick find. Phew.Took to a bench out of the playground to complete signing duties, then did a walk-past replace on my way back to *The Hademobile*.And the mothers didn't pay me any attention. Double Phew!SLTNLNTFTC
Nice camo. Haven't seen anything like this before and cleverly concealed. Worthy of a favourite point. TFTC
Tftc. A few threes so took a while to narrow in on the correct trio. Found with red_ear_slider
Missing it's lid but still dry. Much easier to find these playground hides with a baby in tow
After stopping here once before to find the playground packed, today I passed and found it empty. A quick read of logs and a good hint soon had me signing the log and replacing just as a family arrived. TFTC!
This is one of my fav caches!!! Super fun hide! Would recommend! The clue was a bit confusing for us, but once you get it, its a lot easier
Took a while but not what you think it is not the big trees so glad I found it best one yet
No problems here with great coordinates and few park people. I spotted the cache location and retrieved before carefully replacing. Thanks for an excellent hide, I really liked it.
Needed a little leg stretch plate on a Sunday afternoon and this provides just the opportunity! Cleverly constructed hide. Now back home to watch the NBL finals. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Find #: 3,495Companions: NoneMuggles: Not manyWeather: Lovely autumn morningCache condition: Log missingI was about to go for a jog nearby and stopped off here enroute. The playground and park were quiet, so I was willing to search (I miss having the rugrats around as cover when searching in playgrounds). Hmmm, 3 of those (nope), 3 of those (also nope), ah, 3 of *those*! They're all unique, so not sure if something has happened to #3? I retrieved the container to find it log-less, so fashioned one out of some paper I had handy - TNLNSL, thanks for the cache
Pre dawn cycle north. I can see how daylight would be useful here, quite a challenge in the dark. Clever! Thanks for placing this cache ZingBob #2475
Had a medical appointment in Chatswood this morning and, being a little early for the appointment, decided to walk down to this newish cache at Bales Park. Navigated through the backstreets and soon arrived at Bales Park, heading in through the gate and over to GZ for a look. Thankfully the nearby Bocce courts were deserted, so no crowds of players & spectators to deal with, and only a few toddlers with parents playing on the nearby play equipment.I initially had the wrong siblings, then refocused and quickly spotted the correct trio and the odd one out, whereby it was CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced the nicely camoed cache exactly as it had been found. As I was leaving GZ one of those parents had apparently been watching me from afar, and asked me what was so interesting over in that corner. of the playground. I explained our wonderful game of Geocaching and she seemed very interested and asked how to "give it a go" with her kids, so we may have a new player popping up soon. Now to return to the Chatswood CBD for my appointment. TFTC ZingBob.
Well it was an odd one and easily spotted as I was worried about all these bocce players and kids. Nice hide Zingbob
Saw it on approach. Nice to watch the men playing bocce ball nearby, or were they just bowling in the dirt?! Good excuse for a meet and chat. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC ZingBob
The odd one out was us in the playground rather than with the bocce boys. Easily spotted on approach. TFTC
#13282 11:03A few new caches to be found this morning. The first sibling I checked out already revealed the cache. Great hide.TFTC ZingBob
On the way to do some business I made a quick stop at Bales Park hopefully for a cache find. This place as changed a great deal over the years. This used to be the headquarters for Northern Suburbs Netball. The parkland was covered with netball courts, there was no Boule court and where the children's playground is now situated was the clubhouse for the netball association. I was in a team that was runner up in one of the tournaments one year. I still have the trophy!Today the Boule court was busy, lots of muggles and a couple with their dog came out of a gate onto the park very near GZ. Luckily for today's technology where everyone is looking at devices which meant I could easily grab and replace the cache.Nice neat little construction!TFTC # 5777
Nicely placed hide. We couldn't sign the log yesterday as there were a few families in the park. Today we had GZ to ourselves and we were able to sign the log in quick time. Thanks for placing the cache.
Was looking for the cache in the wrong family at first but then saw another family of 3 siblings and quickly found the well camped cache. TFTC
