Enjoying our short visit to Brisbane. While we had a bit of downtime we came to check out the new bridge and skydeck. Amazing views from here and up the top.Answers sent to COTFTC
Yesterday we took a walk around the city to do a bit of cache maintenance. It was then time to walk over the new bridge which was not finished last time we were in Brisbane and have a look around the new buildings at Queens wharf. What a spectacular bridge and a great tribute to neville Bonner. Of course, we came to visit this virtual which is beautifully placed. We have sent our answers to the CO (he has lovely ears). We add a favourite point. Thanks grannysmith1947Domsky
Had a lovely visit waiting for our cruise to begin. A nice walk across the bridge for dinner. Thank you so much
We continued today our tour of Queensland and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Virtual-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The picture was taken and attached to the log. Thanks to grannysmith1947 for the generation of this nice cache Neville Bonner (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. In town to see Wicked at QPAC with my daughter. Had some free time before the show started, so took the opportunity to explore the new bridge and complete this Virtual.Currently working on completing GC5JF0K "Can you spell NOVEMBER in November?" Challenge cache and I needed a cache beginning with the letter N. This cache fit the bill perfectly and allows me to complete the Challenge in full. TFTvirtualC. Answer and picture sent to CO. I decided it was finally time to make my annual pilgrimage to the CBD and take care of all the Ad Labs that have taken over my mapThis was a nice bonus, and a a great addition to the mapThanks grannysmith1947 for highlighting this location and the contributions made by this great Australian
After a busy Friday night, I had a very quiet Saturday, lazing about in the air conditioning preparing a cache to do list for an upcoming Christmas overseas holiday to Japan. By mid afternoon, I was feeling guilty about my laziness and set out to do a long late afternoon run from Newstead Park along the riverfront, all the way to the city. Jogging through Howard Smith wharves, I set my target at 10.0km. Just on dusk, I exited the Botanic Garden and rounded QUT. At the new Queens Wharf waterfront, almost directly under the new Neville Bonner, bridge, I ticked over 10k's and stopped. After catching my breath and enjoying the sunset at the Queens Wharf waterfront, I looked for the path to the floor above. I certainly did not feel like climbing stairs, so thank god for the escalators that took me from the waterfront to Neville Bonner and the end of the new bridge. At 6 pm on a Saturday night, this precinct was very busy, but no one paid attention as I snapped some photos and recorded the clues. From here, I decided to avail myself of some 50 cent train fares to get home. Answers sent. Many thanks grannysmith1947Pete#8,121
I was in the city today to send off my postal vote. There seems to be a shortage of post boxes in the suburbs nowadays! I also needed to pick up supplies for my upcoming travels. With these errands completed I remembered that this new virtual had been published since I visited the Neville Bonner Bridge and the Star complex following my attendance at the Goodwill Bridge flash mob event in September. I headed over this way and spent some time examining the bust of Nev. With the answer sent off to the CO and the necessary photo taken I can now log my find. TFTC granny
Accio 20:10:15Found on a night stroll with T4mmmyThanks grannysmith1947 for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12770}*
It was funny that I was only here a few days ago checking out the observation skydeck and completing the [Queen's Wharf Brisbane](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/8bb2e358-2df9-4759-b1b6-4f18483b8e51) Adventure Lab, but I didn't even think about checking the geocache map, as this virtual cache was published when I was recently away from Brisbane.Whether it was a combination of "before my time", or a recent resident of Queensland, but I hadn't heard of Neville Bonner until a few days ago. He sounded like a very accomplished and well-respected individual, so I think it was a great decision to name the adjacent pedestrian bridge after him to acknowledge his efforts and history. During a planned lunch run today, I warmed up with a walk through the CBD, visiting the bust of Neville Bonner in the process. An interesting difference and observation of his ears, and I would love to hear the story behind it (if there is one). The answer was sent to the CO for verification, and an obligatory selfie photograph was taken. Thanks [grannysmith1947](https://coord.info/PR8VQX7) for the virtual cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
We spent today visiting the city. During the course of it we had a look at the new Casino and completed this VC while there. It was a interesting place to look around, we even went up to the viewing platform to see the sights from there. At GZ we read about Neville Bonner and completed the tasks required, then went for a walk across the bridge named after him. Answers have been sent to the CO.TFTC

My daughter Pinkypie05 and myself visited here last week. I finally got around to messaging the CO our answer. TFTC!
Neville is quiet the popular guy right now. Not surprising to see a virtual draw the crowds through, is it... Mrs Gunnie and I visited here a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed the view from the top deck and as we wandered around. Of course a cache is published shortly after our visit... Thankfully, I have three days in a CBD training room this week so I took an earlier train in to town and wandered around picking up some city caches so the map was nice and tidy. I didn't expect to get to this one today, but it turns out I had plenty of time to nip over and visit Neville. I just wish it wasn't so humid... This will be a really great place to visit once the restaurants and other shops are up and running on the viewing deck and the bridge is a really nice design. Thanks for the virtual grannysmith1947.
Out with T-Tech on a gloriously sunny public holiday, wandering around Brisbane city chasing ALs. We couldn't ignore this new Virtual while we were at Queens Wharf, and despite the place heaving with people, we were able to find the answer, which I have sent to the CO. The bust of the Senator is pretty impressive, but shame about the pedestal. Afterwards we headed up to the Sky Deck. TFTVC, grannysmith1947.
