Cache #7000Found with WaywardWoman while out caching today.I had decided to do this Church Virtual in happy memory of my mum.As a child I used to sing in a Choir with her at a St. Johns Anglican Church, in Woolwich. It has long since been decommissioned.I enjoyed looking around and getting the answers for this Virtual. After WW took my 7000th photo, the Church bells rang out. Celebrating my milestone? Thanks for the Virtual.

#7722- Found with thomo31 while out caching in the area. I love old churches and virtuals too, so this was a double bonus. Also was thomo31's 7000 milestone. Congratulations! Thanks for the virtual- a favourite from me!

After an enjoyable get together with other cachers at Oran Park this morning, I made my way to Camden to check out some of the heritage buildings around town ... I've done this previously but Camden is a such heritage rich town, there's plenty of places to show off to people. Unlike most of the buildings I visited today, this church is one place that I have previously visited for geocaching purposes ... but I didn't discover the Columbarium on that occasion so, in a sense, it felt like I'd never been here before. It's an interesting place to explore, and I enjoyed doing so for somewhat longer than it took to locate the answers to the CO's questions ... so I'm giving it a fave point. Thanks for creating this virtual cache and for bringing me back to further explore the historic church grounds here, Curleybunny666. Thanks also for the speedy OK for me to log this virtual as a find!

Friday off, so Friday caching it is. Since swapping to shift work I am doing a lot more weekdays of caching, sometimes easier due to all people working and schools are on, sometimes harder, especially near schools. Today's target Icton and Camden area, picking up a few multis, solved puzzles and new adventure labs.TFTC Wilbert67

Bored with a one-a-day streak, felt like changing things up and help creep a little closer towards an upcoming milestone (with a specific cache and rough date in mind). Answers easily determined (though being a non-local, did need to google confirmation for one question). Results sent to CO with photo uploaded.

After a reason to visit Narellan today so a good excuse to visit the latest Virtual. Well done Curleybunny666 on the award of the virtual. I don't think I had actually visited the church even though it is such a prominent feature of the area. Drove in for a good parking spot. I had to google the meaning of Columbarium as it is obviously a niche word.

I remember when this virtual got published, and putting it off until I was next in the area, which happened to be today, I left home a bit early to ensure that I had time to stop in here to obtain the answers and take my image in the dark before heading to SueDan83's event where I then saw the CO. thankyou for binging me here Curliebunny666.

A lot of Camden history in the graves below the church, and a lot more recent in the Columbarium. Surprised to find a burial in 2022. A past rello is buried below who fell from his horse and cart in the 1860s. And more recent rellos in the Columbarium. Took a photo at an appropriate place at the wallTFTC FP

We enjoyed a walk from home to this virtual cache. Many caches and ALs that we have done in cemeteries have been very awkward. Coords inaccurate, headstones hard to read. It was very nice to do a cache with a well written description, clear cut questions, coords added as waypoints. The only hard part was trying to get Dan to smile for that photo.A very good cache. Very exciting to see another of our local hiders awarded a Virtual. And today I got to find it.I'm not a member of the congregation, nor am I well connected enough to attend many weddings and funerals. So it's been a while since I've been onto the church grounds. I knew my way to the waypoint/s though and it wasn't too hard to find the answers. If you lived in the area any time between the late 1970s and early 2000s you can probably guess answer 3.It's a pity that the stained glass has for many years been covered with steel mesh, but I guess that's the world we have. It's still a nice place to take in. Audibly too, I took my photo just as the bells rang the quarter hour.Virtuals are a way to bring variety to the game and highlight places in a way physical types can't, this does that job nicely.

Having finished Quiffling for the day, I headed to Camden for the latest Virtual. This old church sits high on the hill. A decent location to have a Virtual. It was starting to drizzle, but that didn't dampen my enthusiasm to gather the information. Some interesting research in the description. The WPs for each question were accurate, and I soon had all I needed to send to the CO. A quick response with the words "Well done young man" meant I could leave here confident I had completed the task. A quick photo of my nametag and it was back to the car as the rain got heavier. After a big day out in the Wild West it was time to head home, and prepare for SOO tonight. Go The Blues! TFTV

Was wondering when I could make it down here a very historic spot Curliebunny666s first virtual. Cant get more historic than that! All quiet here this afternoon plenty of time to dawdle around, find answers, and take a few pics. I know what youre thinking If thats the best, Id hate to see the worst!!Well, that would be the one with my face in. Thanks CB666, and congrats on a well-researched cache. Quite a few details I was unaware of.

From time to time, one may need to unwind / unstress oneself. Off work today and was enroute to an appointment, when several new caches were published. Mmmm, which one shall I go for? Naturally the closest one along my routeCamden is somewhere one needs to come for a refresher - whether for a cafe break or just soak up the winter sun. Heres my selfie at the front of the church. Glad to obtain my first ever virtual [FTF] on a beautiful day. Thanks Curliebunny666
