After driving through Dimboola multiple times we decided this time to divert and sign all the challenges along here including the new ones. We qualify for most but not all yet.TFTCC Some way to go hereBrad and Janet are on another epic trip. This time across South Australia to Broken Hill. Then through central and Northern NSW and up into Qld where we will be picking up a new hybrid house-on-wheels. Then we will head south down through more of NSW via Sydney to catch up with B2. Then further south until we get into Victoria from where we will head back into South Australia. Along the way we will grab caches of opportunity.

It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. We had been hoping for it to be retrievable with a diferent TOTT though. Our favourite/memorable CITOs are always in Ballarat. One was so wet we were like drowned rats. Found with Mogni. Found after hosting the Dimboola East Rest Stop Clean Up Round II CITO. I have 6 CITO's in every month except for 2 months and then i have 5 CITO's. I hosted 3 Victorian CITO's this trip in 3 different LGA's plus a event ( on the world's shortest registered mountain ). The TOTT used to get the cache was the bull bar, i had to be on tippy toes and i am tall. I have hosted 22 CITO events over 3 states. The plan this October Long Weekend was to head over to Victoria and host 3 CITO's plus host my first geocaching event, also increase my finds to 20 in at least 5 victorian LGA's. Given that we were caching in the country alot of km's were travelled. The weather was raining on and off all saturday including the night time but by luck all 3 events that day were dry. The first CITO ( and the cache of the trip ) was in Kaniva at the wetlands, the next in CITO was in Dimboola at one of the rest areas, and placing a future challenage cache then slowly making our way to wycheproof canavan park which was our accomadation for the weekend and then up to Mount Wycheproof ( the smallest registered mountain in Australia - at 43metres tall ) for my coffee and sunset event. Sunday started off with a early 630 am CITO in the Mount Wycheproof wetlands reserve ( sorry i did forget about daylight savings when i made the time for the event but it was a dawn and light still ). Now off to swan hill ( which is my least favorite LGA to cache in ) and then a few more LGA's and back to the tent in the dark well past dinner. Then it was slowly heading home via the silo arts works along the way and walpuep and then over the border to pinaroo and home. We went through over a milk crate of spare containers and got 2 and 1/4 garage bags of cans and bottles. Any caches that were found broken/cracked/etc were replaced and any full log books were replaced.

Visited & signed 5 October 2024 with catnap777 @ 3:28 pm. After taking on the "This is SA" series, and making our way all the way up to Mount Moffatt for our first forray into The Little Desert, catnap777 & I, in the old Holden Rodeo took on several other deep-sand driving tracks both before and after a couple of CITO events we had posted our will attend for. Last thing before heading for home was to pick up all the challenge caches out Dimboola way that weren't published the last time we came through. Some we qualify for, some we dont, but thanks either way for the challenges. Keep em comin.

As usual we were targeting specific caches and in particular, challenge caches that popped up in the area since the last time we visited. What a brilliant challenge cache! This one certainly gets you out in the fresh air participating in various community initiatives (rubbish collection, clean up Australia, tree planting, nature/habitat restoration etc). On a multi mission with weirdobiker after the Lameroo Ludicrous Leg Warmers events in SA and now heading back east via a through different LGA's. I'm thoroughly enarmoured with Dimboola, its public art and tributes to its history. Its been great exploring the country out west with plenty of highlights to remember. TFTC and the lure. EEEEK! A long way to go before I qualify!!!

I'm out and about with Ronice88 today after the Lameroo JLWE events. We decided to head out to Dimboola to pick up these challenge caches. Unfortunately I don't qualify for this one as yet, however the log has been signed in readiness for the day that I do qualify. I think that day is going to be a long long way off.

I found the physical cache in early March this year on my way home from the Adelaide Mega. I thought I might have qualified at the time, but found that I needed one more in both March and May. Having attended a CITO this morning, I now qualify for this one (although Project GC will have to wait until its next feed from GC.Com before it will ratify that). Thanks to McLookers for the challenge and the cache.

Found this whilst in the area but I am yet to qualify. So I have stamped the log and will log as a find once I qualify.

As our convey of three vehicles headed across from SA through VIC & NSW, we are focusing on collecting some LGAs before heading to the ACT Mega. To save space on all log sheets, we signed as 5 for QLD.All caches we found were in good condition, and with the odd wet logbook being replaced with write in the rain paper.This is certainly a tough challenge that I do not qualify at the moment, but I hope to tick a few more off in the coming months.Thank you to all cache owners for placing these hides for the benefit of the geocaching community

We attended a Mega in Adelaide for Leap Year, and are now slowly making our way to Canberra for the Easter Mega. We called in here to find this series of Challenge Caches, because we know we are close to some and will fill others in the future.We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. As this is a bulk GSAK logging, I do not have time to check the individual cache to see if I qualify just yet. That will come later. Today, I am just recording that my name is in the log Sheet.It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. Along the track and around. Yet to qualify.Note: The metal clasp attaching this one has been stretched open by something/someone and the cache was loose on arrival and separated from its host. What a whirlwind of a week for us in SA as we attack trails with mates, DT, specific types for personal challenges, old caches and just damn good ones. I was heading home from the Adelaide mega and stopped by here to get my name in the log book. I visited the other nearby challenge caches on the way over, but this one hadn't been published at the time. I used my TOTT to grab it and add my name as the first in the log book (not including the Beta Testers). Unfortunately, I can't claim FTF as I do not qualify for the challenge. I still need one more CITO in March and May. Tomorrow I should be able to cross off March, but I still need May.Thanks to McLookers for the challenge and the cache.
