Logs
After a very enjoyable, but exhausting , nine days of GCLogan events, I had 2 full days left before flying back to NZ. To maximise the value of these 2 days, a plan was hatched with GG1 and M65 to target some special caches on the Northside that would help me with possibly two further D/T loop completions. Their help was invaluable, with local knowledge ensuring the best route was taken to fit in as many high quality caches as possible today. Day two today and a little bit later start, but we still didn't stop till well after dark..... With my hosts well prepared for any tott we might need today, it was not too much trouble, even for an old guy, to access this one and sign the log. TFTC
I was a bit lost in my searching at first. It seems that my phone works on a different system to every one else! But by expanding my search and considering the hint I eventually managed to make the find. The log was signed and everything returned as found. TFTC
I spent the day in some northern suburbs finding 19 targeted caches but also having a few DNFs. This was the first of the day and was a quick find. I also solved it easily - that rarely happens. Logbook signed and replaced as found. All good here. Tftc
With an appointment at the dentist this afternoon and I wanted to find a cache today, this was the cache of choice.I found your cache, Pelican Island - No not another Pishing Arousal today. This is my 3287 find.GZ had me a little off but after finding another one nearby, I guessed Id be looking for something similar. Yep, got it.ruzzelz, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
This was a bit of a let down, no pelicans on Pelican Island, no pishing and no arousal but I blame that on the cool breeze. But I did have the area to myself for a solo affair, it was sunny and reasonably quiet if you don't mind the builders banging away in the background. Even the lake appears to be in pristine condition with birdlife but I wonder how long its going to be before the shopping trollies swim upstream and infest the depths. The puzzle had me a little stumped before I figured out what I needed. And I wasn't sure what TOTT to cart along for GZ. Luckily the planets aligned and everything fell into place. Thanks ruzzelz for the puzzle and for reinforcing that length matters!
On my way home traffic was bad so stopped for these caches. Had solved a while ago. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Lots of pelicans and ducks on the island. Thanks Ruzzelz. All good with this cache and puzzle.
What a lovely place this cache is in. We headed down and along the path to GZ and wondered what we were looking for here. It did not take long to spot the prize after a bit of a search. Log signed and replaced as found. All good here. Thanks ruzzelz for this one.
Davinells has a planThat plan includes a walk over to north Bribie it wasnt until wed found the cache that the reason for this small detour was announced Not long after this find, the plans for Bribie fell apart thanks to a huge crash on The BruceThanks ruzzelz
A day off means a day trip to Brisbane to go caching with Peppa. Our plan is to head north and go for a walk along the beach, with every intention to complete some loops. We made a quick detour here where we had the whole lake to ourselves. After short search we found the prize and I dropped the reason I tactfully directed us hereloop 18 done! Little did I know my well intended plan to get Peppa another loop would fall apart a short time later. Thanks for the cache ruzzelzFind #6073
We dropped the eldest off at Strathpine so he could sit his driving test. After meeting with the instructor Alyce and I made our way home. As we were driving I remembered these two caches, weve heard humours they might be gone in the not so distant future so now would be the perfect time to grab them. Were amazed how build up the area is now, the last time I came through nothing was here so its always nice to visit an area going through some change. We parked up top and spotted our destination off in the distance and made our way down. We arrived at GZ after a short walk and quickly spotted something a little suspicious, we went over the suss it out and the cache was in hand instantly. Thanks for bringing us here.#4379 - TFTC
Muggle65 and l have been meaning to get up here for quite some time but we seem to be masters of overfilling our days. Finally got here this afternoon and eventually got our names into the log. Cache is in perfect order. Thank you for the fun
After a long day caching the Western Suburbs today GG1 & I thought wed wind down and found a couple in this relatively new estate.
Found with Dora the Explorer! This cache had us scratching our heads to start with however we were able to locate the suprising cache not long after arriving at GZ.TFTC
Another quick find here and wasn't sure if I had the correct co ordinates but thought I would give it a go anyway. Found quickly.
Out with IolantheK for a day of caching "Tricky" puzzle ruzzelz Nice easy find at a great spot TFTC zuzzelz
Out with T-Tech for a day of caching from Lawnton to Burpengary. There's 5 solved Puzzles, a Virtual, a Letterbox, and a dozen or so Traditionals along the way.Our first stop and it's a lovely area. Spotted a few pelicans T-Tech made the find. TFTC, ruzzelz.
Regarding this puzzle, it was a challenge that I gladly accepted, but I can't recall having too many issues with its solve. In fact, it wasn't long after its publication (that same day) that I had Certitude and the checker confirmed its coordinates on 28/01/2024. I wasn't motivated to grab the FTF that evening, and it looked like others thought the same way as me (and the CO), with the cache's find shortly after my solve. This evening, I visited this new estate area, and what a lovely area it is! I look forward to when they extend the path around the lake, and perhaps a parkrun will be born here? I had a short search around GZ, and then started to doubt my coordinates, but after extending my search, I found the cache in a logical spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Length Matters aka [ruzzelz](https://coord.info/PR10CCB) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. No "pishing" arousal for me here, unfortunately.----------This evening, it was an outing to the north to Brendale-Strathpine with the planned [Easter Dinner ?? ?? ?? ??](https://coord.info/GCAMCFN) dinner event. I visited a sporadic cluster of locations involving tree climbs, tree fishing TOTT geocaches, and leisurely walks in reserves and with lakeside views, before dinner beckoned.
Staying nearby at the showgrounds. Got this one. Thanks. A beautiful breeze coming off the water.
Needed to pick up a few caches on the Northside.Heard about these two do just had to grab them. Visited without disappointment.TFTCache Length Matters
A little road trip up to grab this with a previous finder in toe prior to setting off on an even bigger road trip. Thank you, Length Matters, and that name sure sounds rather personal for no apparent reason Oh, I love the attributes also!
TFTC smile 17520 out and about on a lovely day having a great time finding a few caches Thank you Length Matters for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Out and about with Roddy Hatzoff and Grany Smith, Imbunda. Great fun morning. A great spot to come and check out the large lake.
Today I joined forces with RoddyC, Hatzofff, grannysmith1947 and GEM_54. We didn't have many on the list today as still have to puzzles to solve for Adelaide. This is a nice green Parkland .This one was quickly found and log signed before replacing as found. TFTC
I wasn't sure what to expect here but had no trouble. Found on 10/2/2024 at 7:52am. Thanks for the cache ruzzelz
A nice new area here with a lovely outlook. We were puzzled by the description, attributes, D/T and hint but the hide, thankfully, was not puzzling at all. Thanks ruzzelz
So I got a call from team tyrrell who was in town for some work related stuff. We meet up and, well what else do you do on a catchup but go cache. I was driving around and I said let's go do some fun ones and then he mentioned he had two left for his first loop. So we looked up what they were and where we could go. Then suddenly we had a plan of attack. We did a couple as we passed by also and yes we got his first loop completed. This cache was one of the fun caches to do. it was also one of Team Tyrrells last cache finds for his first loop, oh I remember those days. Anyway we arrived at gz expecting the be searching for sometime, however we made the find very quickly and was in amazement as to the rating and the attributes to this cache. It was like everything was backwards, lol. Without questioning we signed the log and replaced as found before walking to another in the area. Congrats to my buddy on his first loop. A favourite point just because.
Woohoo. Completed my first loop with this cache. Thanks to Chamad for introducing me to the game all those years ago. Seems fitting to complete the loop with him.
Yippee ***FTF*** with Swearah, TeamLambo and Mumma Bear and Clubs. Lucky for me cache was found as I was heading to GZ. Log was signed and cache was replace back where it was found. ruzzelz thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.

Joint ***FTF***. I had just arrived home from running some errands and grabbing some local tree fishing caches when this one was released. Jumped back into the car and drove at a regular speed to GZ. Having read the description I had noted some clues as to where GZ was and when I arrived to meet Swearah my suspicions were confirmed. A brief walk from the car and we were soon joined by Mummabear and DFC. As we removed the container, Brislions joined us for a 5way FTF. A quick chat before we headed off to another one nearby. TFTC
A nice reason to meet up with TeamLambo and Brislions for a possible ***FTF***Dfc_Jlk also had the same idea so we all got to GZ around the same time. TeamLambo was the fastest though - arriving there after running all the red lights Im sure!Names on the log, I had to get back to my nightie and Desperate Housewives viewing. Thanks for the cache, ruzzelz
