Needed a bit of stealth from the muggles in town for the day, but managed to find and secure the cache - thank you for bringing us to this place, it is beautiful
Didnt bring a pen with me so didnt write on the log. Beautiful sights even on a rainy day. Thanks, Remy
Our holiday hound loved the walk to the falls when we brought her here a couple of weeks ago. Today after my event I visited the falls again and after a couple of minutes searching I found the cache. It didnt look anything like the picture I found in one of the logs .TFTC Angus
Headed for a hike with the family today whilst the sun shined. Arrived at GZ but minisqwash and I mistakenly started looking low and then some muggles arrived at the waterfall. Muggle Hubby and 3year old started to walk back and located cache but wouldn't tell us where, but knew we were in the wrong place. So climbed up and quickly had cache in hand. One bit of advice to others - don't drop it tho. Cos it's harder to find then TFTC today.
A lovely walk up the trail again today, I dont have enough fingers to count how many times Ive been here, a lovely spot. With the heavy rain the falls were going for it. This was tough to find and took a PAF to find it today After dropping Courtneyrose_ off at the airport I made my way around the back roads of the north midlands to find a few caches. Thanks for the cache
DNF, we looked for a short while and used the comments to try to help, it ended up being a DNF no matter how hard me looked, good luck to the fellow geocachers lets hope you can spot what we cant.
Well after a bit more walking we did find it, we got ahead of ourselves and logged it at DNF. Again good luck to everyone to others trying to find this catch
TFTC. Cache and contents are in excellent condition. This was a very quick find at GZ which was fortunate as my legs were tired for our 3 hour walk up Mt Victoria. Home now for dinner.
What a gorgeous walk and waterfall extremely chilly in here today! This is usually a high count muggle area but not today!! Lucky for me as I couldnt seem to find it until I came back after finishing the rest of the walk. Then it was a nice quick find. TFTC
Lost count of the number of times we have visited Lilydale Falls and have camped here on a few occasions too.Today we were only here for one reason and that was to look for this cache.Nearing GZ some muggles with a toddler waited to let me pass as they didn't want to hold me up. They then arrived near GZ only minutes after me so then I had to wait for them to take a ton of photos before they finally left and I could search. This one took a while to locate and not before I had got quite grotty searching in all the wrong places. Then I had to wait to return it when another group of muggles arrived. Are they mad? Why would anyone be here on such a bitterly cold day?The falls were as impressive as usual but then even in summer they are worth the short walk. Thanks Angus88.
Today we further explored our back yard finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that have been published since our last visit. We did the walk to the falls, very cold and not much water flowing over the falls. Once the GPS settled down we made a quick find.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.
Lovely walk, couldn't spot it though. We know that it's here because it's been found today. Had good fun trying to find it.
Found this one today, not quite at GZ but within 10m and GZ does move around abit, TFTC
[9046] Holidays on Tasmania, day 12. Today we had to move on from Launceston towards St. Helens at the Westcoast. We took the scenic route and stopped for a handful of geocaches and short walks to see wetlands, waterfalls and myrtle rainforest. This quickly found geocache also belonged to our route today. TFTC!
I saw this published so decided a walk to the falls would be a good way to start the day. A blank log confirms my FTF.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out camping here last night. Made our way up to make where we made a quick find. Then the son decided to take a quick dip. Wow, it must have been cold. Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
