Logs
pretty quick- gps is spot on! log and pencil were both a bit waterlogged but over all a nice findTFTC!!
Parked by the sports field, and walked across the bridge to GZ. Cache was spotted from a distance, and log was signed before returning the cache to its location.
Nice easy find- perfect for the kids - this level is perfect to keep the little ones interested - thanks!
Easy. I had a birthday party just across the road at flipout so decided to grab a cache when we left SL TNLN. BTW log is a bit wet. TFTC Festeriscool
I've passed this cache countless times, and never even realised it was here! I even worked on the recent construction in the area, but never checked to see if a cache was around. I feel like this one has crept off its original spot slightly, hide didn't match the hint and the height wasn't an issue today. Decided to replace as found however. Thanks for the hide!
While in west Gosford for my sons fitness session we were too close not to visit this cache. Luckily i had the grabber in the car as we needed it to reach this one. TFTC
After a 5km run and some exercises decided to go and find the cache before heading home TFTC
My first ever cache find! Was very fun, and a nice opportunity to take a stroll through the mangroves!
Found it, but didn't stand a hope of getting it! Thank goodness I wasn't caching alone today, grabbing it was a team effort. TFTC!
A quick find, thanks to my Inspector Gadget arm extender, to top off a great geocaching day that saw me attend an outdoor escape room activity at Galston, and then, on the drive home, hide two new SideTracked caches. Thanks for adding to the day's enjoyment festeriscool.
Found, came here to take my son to a Pete Murrie concert, and came back here and found it with a TOTT.Signed log and Cache replaced as found.**Thanks For The Cache** festeriscool. This makes a grand total of 4414 at 7:30PM on this Sunday the 9th of June in the Year 2024

Caught the train down from Newcastle with the pushie. The pushie helped me out with the retrieval. TFTC festeriscool
The kids were stoked to find this after a park picnic on the last day of the school holidays. Lucky my little one is good at the shimmy! TFTC!
Cache has been replaced. Sorry for the wait we had to eat a whole tin of mints for this one. Please watch for muggles in case the cache was originally taken by them. Thank you.
Early morning walk with the Pup after staying nearby with friends. Nice to have a new cache to find when visiting!Cheers
Entered Adcock Park from Racecourse Road and drove round to the wooden footbridge. I've been here before several times and the bridge has certainly seen better days but it is still safe to cross. I didn't see any water dragons today but the trees on the oval side and along the creek were full of dozens of birds of many species all chasing each other and calling. I spent a couple of minutes watching them then went round to GZ.I had my suspicions about the hide and carried a TOTT. Lucky as I needed it to access the cache and even then it was difficult. This is a T2 hide.TFTC # 5847
Here on Holiday from the England so thought Id get out and do abit of exploring whilst Im here. Great cache and a good hiding spot
I approached GZ from the wooden boardwalk and Im pleased to say I saw water dragons!! Two of them, sitting on a log. They were very long and very cute, and when I asked if I could take a photo of them they even stayed still for me to do so After Id thanked them for the photo, one of them scurried off towards the water, and boy theyre quick!Im visiting from Canberra at the moment, and Im sure we have these guys back home, but I havent really come across them thus far, and it makes sense theyd be thriving up here in this humid environment. The same could be said for the mozzies, though. I was just getting eaten alive the entire time I spent around at GZ. The cache was located with no trouble, but when tippy-toes failed and I was having trouble getting the container I decided to shake things up by inviting my friend Mr. G to help me retrieve it. Doing that was all fun and games until I had to return the cache and (after trying and failing to use a few different tools to help me) I was rewarded for my cheekiness by having to do it the cache-gods probably intended. Thankfully, the area around GZ is still blocked off to cars so, apart from the occasional jogger, I had a lot of privacy to attempt this cache without being caught in the act by muggles. When I was leaving the oval, I saw a man driving his remote control car around one of the car parks, and it even did some off-roading into the grass, I thought it was cool. Thanks for the cache! It was a fun experience
Logbook is completely soaked from the heavy rain this morning so couldnt sign. Took photo of logbook as evidence. Thanks for the quick cache!
I approached from the sports field due to arriving via the racecourse drive. I did spot a waterdragon while sitting in the car waiting for the rain to die down and jumped out for a quickish find at GZ
Decided id grab this one on my first opportunty since it was hidden. Didnt see any dragons, but had to time my retrieval and return with the workmen nearby. Each time the were concentrating on cutting something, i made my move. Thanks gor the cache.
Well festeriscool this cache was only published 12 days ago and today I found that the entry drive to the carpark and access to the cache is blocked off with council fences. The cache cannot be found at present. Is this area closed for Asbestos checking? There is certainly plenty of mulch just beyond the fences. Please check the area, perhaps put a replacement cache in an accessible spot while the area is closed, and while the area is inaccessible keep us informed when the area is reopened. It was very disappointing as I had come up from Sydney and this was my target cache for the day so I went home without a find.
No issues accessing cache on foot. Road access is blocked 30m from cache as the car park is yet to be finished.
TFTC,No Water Dragons today but a big jump was required to recover this.We came to the area so that I could chat to the Panel Beater who is going to undertake the next stage of my vehicle restoration and to have lunch with a friend. After completing these activities we did an Adventure Lab that delivered us to this location where we finished the AL, got the information for the EarthCache and finished this Traditional. Left the AL Bonus for another time.Visited trackables.
Quick find, just needed to have longer legs, we made it. Stamped log and replaced with some difficulty. Thanks to CO.
Easily spotted, hard to get and retrieve it. No Water Dragon were seen this time. Thanks festeriscool for placing Watch for the Waterdragons! #1074GCAK5PV
I haven't been geocaching much for several months as we have a new dog which isn't so easy to take caching. So it was nice to see a new cache in a place were we'd take the dog/s. As it was I came by without any dogs and after a wander down the nearby boardwalk (always worth a wander) went to GZ and spotted the cache quickly. Not sure who would have the height and flippers to be able to get the cache directly, but got the cache down with a stick, signed the log and, doing a spot of monkey business, replaced as found. TFTC!
Trying to beat the heat this morning, I decided to go for a bit of a drive around the coast, with this my first stop. I'd read Mr Fish's log and put a set of steps in the car as he's considerably taller than me, but in the end I didn't need them as I found a stick nearby I could use to slide the container down to where I could reach it and then slide it back up after I'd finished signing. It's good to see a new cache down this end of the Central Coast as they're a rare treat these days. Thanks for the hide.
We called in here on our way to a picnic, and were concerned to find our entrance to parking blocked. However, the work is nearly finished and the cache accessible. I was soon at GZ, spotting rhe cache from a distance, but had trouble reaching it, and I'm 190cm, so you may need to come prepared. Thanks for a good hide.
Sneaky little hide - love it. It was a race between myself and Spartman to find it, but I'm more agile than he is... it must be his age. TFTC festeriscool
Third to find. We were enjoying dinner when the notification came through, finished dinner, looked at location (only 3km from home) and headed out. No logs then but a check when we arrived and there was a find on it. Oh well. We have not had a FTF for quite a while. Thanks for the hide festeriscool.
Second is pretty much as good as first yeah? Notification came through about a new cache a couple of km away. We instantly hit the road. Rharzwor had to drive as I'd had a couple of beers. That's probably why she found it first. Yeah that's gotta be it.Thanks for the cache festeriscool. It's our first FTF / STF for a while.
